Yes! That's exactly what I had in mind when I think of a Jersey Pizza. Crust was just right, toppings had amazing flavor and the red sauce, WOW. We ordered the Kitchen Sink pizza and we also had the garlic knots which were incredible. Service was great. Food was amazing, just go. Traffic will probably suck, but do it anyway! read more

Lies!!! Just ordered one for pickup, the pie does not look like picture, in the picture the pepperoni is arranged nice around the shApe of the pie, when i asked the rude ass girl behind the counter why was the pepperoni thrown all over pizza instead of like in the picture,she said they don't make it like that, so showed them there instagram post and she replies " oh thats just for the picture " smh. Ps nothing in there is brick oven and it looks dirty as hell in there Lies!!! The margarita pizza is EXCELLENT!! I love the crust and how fresh the ingredients are. I also liked the mozzarella sticks but the chicken tenders and fries weren't as good as I expected. Overall, for the price- the food was good. I will definitely order from here again. read more

Total liars. Placed an order on Uber Eats. Ordered based on the price offered. Immediately after ordering I received a notice the restaurant made an adjustment to the price. They added $4. Called Uber and they said the restaurant charged extra for my "special request" to leave the order at the hotel front desk. Called the restaurant and they blamed Uber because they didn't charge the mandatory delivery fee. No one would help. Uber blamed the restaurant, the restaurant blamed Uber. This restaurant is a total scam. read more

Was at the Newark airport and needed a quick bite to eat. Eli's was recommended. Driving there was quick and easy. I was lucky and found parking right away. I wanted some good NY Pizza and this place has some. Their menu is large, and they have plenty of dishes. I almost ordered something different than pizza because everything looked and sounded really good. I did order a pie with sausage and pepperoni. Between two of us, we destroyed the pie and left one slice. When I come back, I will try so of the other plates. But for now, pizza was what I wanted and what I got. Pizza was good. This is my favorite local pizza place near my apartment. They have very good pies. However, the pricing isn't consistent. I once paid $42, yes, $42 for a large Hawaiian pie. Then two weeks later, $27. Also, the pizza size varies. I consistently order largest and sometimes they are massive and other times regular large, other times they have 9 slices instead of 8. Either way, be careful what you're charged, since depending on if you order online or over the phone or on the slice app the prices change for the same thing. read more

It was INCREDIBLE!! We had the garlic knots which was super yummy as well as the meatball pizza - and the best part...the penne alla vodka with chicken. I don't know what they put in it but the family recipe cookout needs to be dropped TODAY. Also the people who worked there were lovely and the woman who helped serve us was so wonderful and kind. I'd recommend to anyone. Best spot in town. The atmosphere was also very nice with a nice family feel and ambiance. read more

We were doing a park and fly and needed something to eat for delivery to our hotel. Eli's was close and had good ratings so we ordered pizza for delivery. It did not disappoint. We really don't eat pizza too often Because it's not the healthiest food in the world but it was very good. The delivery was quick too. The guy here told me the secret to his sauce. I can't guarantee he was being forthright (better than coming fourth, right?), but why would Eli to me? Seriously though. This Pizza in Elizabeth is not bad at all. The guys were friendly and their pizza was tasty. They got the impression they do quite a lot of business in the area and so they should. Slices are pretty cheap and it's easy to find in a residential ish area in the very underrated Jersey city of Elizabeth. read more

We ordered from a local hotel and were quoted 45 minutes. We called twice and it finally showed up 1 hour and 30 minutes later, ice cold and soggy. $35 plus tip for three chicken tenders and a chicken wrap. Don't waste your money. It was terrible. read more

Eli's has been my personal favorite in Elizabeth having worked at the local hospital since 2009 (I remember when they were on east jersey) . Last week, we had a celebration for crisis workers and when we took a vote, Eli's won . The quantity, quality , packaging and delivery is superb- the food is extra delicious. We always Yelp search our restaurants. From time to time you find a place that really is far better than the ratings would lead you to believe. We were pleasantly surprised to find Jimmy's clean and large storefront windows that opened up the small yet inviting restaurant. There are limited tables and despite the constant flow of customers there is rarely a wait for a table. We ordered a calzone, chicken alfredo and hotwings. We also ordered a beef patty while we waited. All were excellent, literally 5 stars. The chicken also came with a crisp succulent FRESH salad with what appeared to be in house made caesar dressing. Here's what my husband had to say, "I have missed real italian food since i left the tri-state 5 years ago and the quality of flavor here is mind blowing. The food is magnificent. I ordered chicken parm, pasta and salad. Not only was the portion huge, but it was cooked to perfection. The cutlet was tender. The sauce is homemade - thick, tangy, and flavorful just like grandma used to make. I grew up in Italian Canarsie in Brooklyn and Eli's food is better! Don't stop at the pizza. Order a meal from this gem. I live on the west coast now and there is no comparable food. read more

I end up at one of the Newark Airport hotels a couple times a month. And Eli's is my go to for great food. Pizza is really good as are salads. Delivery service is timely always. But their Meat Lasagna is outstanding!!! Very flavorful and plenty for two (although easy enough for one to finish it is so good). Love it. Highly recommend. read more

I called the waiter over and informed him about the chicken tasting day old. He didn't try to change it out or take it off the bill or get a manager. He just apologized by saying I'm sorry. My crab Mac and Cheese was decent. It wasn't seasoned the way I would have liked but the huge, plentiful chunks of crab made up for that. I ate a third of my dish and packed the rest for home where I will doctor it up to my taste. I've never been to this particular restaurant before. The only reason we came today is because my brother-in-law was here on business and staying at a hotel in the area.

I had a side of pasta made fresh - delicious! My husband had the chicken Parmesan and it was to die for. The chicken was tender and topped with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. I ordered the paella, and it's easily enough for two or even three people and it was well worth it. Really delicious. The drinks were also definitely worth trying while you're there. The only thing I wasn't big on was the desserts they didn't quite live up to the rest of the meal. But overall, great atmosphere, excellent food, and a fun experience. I'd definitely come back.
