Plain/cheese slice and white slice
Purpose T.

The sole reason Frank's gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that their white pizza is not always available. And that's my slice of choice! I do not go often so I always hope it's available when I do, sadly, it isn't/hasn't been. Not sure why. Otherwise, Frank's is one of one. Taste/flavor dances on your tongue. I am not a big fan of pizza crust, but I will eat the crust from Frank's - no questions asked. Every bite! I also think they're still decently priced, given the hikes in food everywhere these days. Frank's is always a nice treat when you need to satisfy a strong craving for a good slice (or two) of pizza!

I have known this Pizzeria for over 25 years and today I had a chance to go there with my family and they still make the same old pies (pizza) delicious as always. The shop still looks the same as I left it over 25 years ago including the cash register. You can take out or eat in and the staff are great.

Very good jersey pizza. Nice, clean, friendly. And filling so I guess you have to write more to get this on here. They take cash only, but have an atm inside and it's only a dollar fifty to get money out. Not bad at all

This is a childhood staple of mine bring that I grew up in Newark, NJ. One of the best pizzas I have ever had. I even had a friend from chicago say the same thing. The biggest cons for me that bring this place to 3 stars is 1. Their service 2. Their dining area 3. No parking. This place is definitely a grab and go type of spot. It's not a place where you can sit and have a good dinner. Since the pizza is that good, they always have some ridiculous line and they have to rush their services which can lead to mixed up orders. Lastly, this place is located in Bloomfield Ave in north Newark. Any native from around this way knows how bad the posting is up here. All in all, this place will forever be the best in my heart because of all the memories I have here!

Bbq chicken pizza and plain

The pizza here is pretty good but the service is ok. I ordered the bbq chicken pizza and plain slices. They were good. This place also has a few tables for customers to dine in. I believe they also offer delivery. Unfortunately no parking lot, only street. But it's not so bad.

Respectful, courteous, and good people skills. Plus the pizza and food is delicious. I highly recommend the Chicken fettuccine Alfredo.

We stumbled upon it on TikTok and Yelp and almost immediately knew we had to go. We are so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted with a friendly hello and genuinely attentive service. The staff took their time explaining the menu, encouraged us to look things over, and offered recommendations without making us feel rushed. One of the best parts of the experience was the atmosphere. You can instantly tell Tony's is a true neighborhood staple. People were constantly coming in and out, and it was especially sweet seeing kids stopping by after school to grab a slice. It gave the place such an authentic and welcoming feel. The food was exactly what we needed. It was fresh, delicious, and full of that classic pizza-shop comfort. This ended up being the very first place we ate on our trip, and it set the bar high. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. With love from Georgia

This pizza parlor (does anyone use that term anymore?!) has been going strong for decades…read more To be honest I was always partial to Nino's III in Kearny - much closer to where I used to live and their chicken-and-broccoli slice was a thing of beauty. (I believe Nino's II existed for a quick moment up there in North Arlington but my memory ain't what it used to be.) After driving past (the original) Nino's on the way home from work for the last few months I realized I was overdue for a visit. First thing: from the outside it looks a bit weathered but inside? It's vibrant and lively and eased my initial concerns. (As soon as I walked in at the very first table was a little kid and his abuela. He made it a point to interact with me coming and leaving and that kid made my day... he's getting 5-stars for being awesome!) As for the pizza... it's a respectable "large" - they ain't skimping, which is a nice change of pace. (Hats off to the pizzaiolo because it wasn't a true/normal/expected circle but something closer to a Reuleaux triangle mixed with a squircle.) Geometry aside... the pie tasted good. Nothing flashy or fancy - just a legit (thin) pie. The (steak) fries were a bit bland and boring, I can't lie. And their cavatelli and broccoli was... decent. It would've benefited from a bit more 'pop' (salt, olive oil, garlic, you name it.) I haven't been here in eons and I hope they'll be around for another 40-something-years. Worth mentioning: it's one of the very few pizzerias to have a liquor license. (I'd definitely come back again for the not-so-perfectly-round pizza but would pass on the fries and pasta...)

This hidden gem in the Harrison Shopping Plaza serves some surprisingly delicious pizzas. We tried…read morea pepperoni slice, a chicken slice, and a plain Sicilian slice. The pepperoni and Sicilian slices were particularly impressive, and I would even say this is the best Sicilian pizza I've ever had. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty pizza experience. However, the restaurant appears to be quite deserted, and it would definitely benefit from more patrons to ensure it receives the attention it deserves.
