The energy was great from all staff and the customers. Everyone was super energetic and friendly. Loved their service - 10/10. Appetizers: We got the flautas de pollo, and the potion was huge. This was one of my favorite appetizers. 10/10. For drinks, my friend and I both got the La Mistica del Dorado. I'm not a big drinker but this one was super light. The portion is generous enough for two adults, which makes it an even better value. The Surf & Turf Burger was another memorable dish. It's served on a sizzling hot plate set on a thick round wooden board with a built‑in drawer, and it comes with crispy potato wedges. The burger itself is stacked with grilled shrimp , salmon, and the patty. All nestled over a layer of gooey melted cheese. Rich, savory, and definitely filling. A fun extra: on weekends they have a photographer who goes table to table and takes your picture for $20 per photo. Nice touch if you're celebrating or just want a keepsake. Love this lychee mezcalita and the vibes and music were really good. The tuna tartare was really fresh, good quality tuna. The staff were really nice and the food was really flavorful- I liked the spicy salsa that came with the empanadas. The empanada batter was really thick similar to Colombian empanadas. They are really filling and kind of taste like chicken enchiladas to me and they come on a bed of lettuce topped with crema. They are filled with shredded chicken. I love how they decorated each plate. I love the Bad Bunny that comes out to cheer people on for their bday and the bday shots and music accompanied with it. They make everyone feel special here. Stopped by here for some drinks while our son was at golf lessons down the street. Had seats at the bar and Daniel was a very attentive bartender. He gave us the top 3 popular drink options. We ordered the La Mistica Del Dorado which was so entertaining. He even asked if we wanted to take a video before he poured the water to create the smoke. The drink was perfectly sweet and had really good pineapple taste. Lovely drink. Totally recommend, not just for appearance but also for the taste. Hubby ordered the Lychee Mezcalita. A fun date night! Ny husband and I made reservations for Valentines weekend, and good thing we did because it was busyy on a Friday night. It was such a fun experience dining here, there were live musicians and a couple shows that tables ordered with their drinks. Ordered the house aguachile, very fresh and had a kick to it. Tried La Mas Querida for dinner this evening. I had two skirt steak tacos and churros with chocolate dipping sauce delivered through DoorDash. Unfortunately, I didn't care for the tacos. The skirt steak was overcooked and I didn't like the flavor of the marinade. The guacamole was good, but it was buried at the bottom of the taco under too much meat. The churros were good. They came with a couple of strawberries that tasted great dipped in the dark chocolate. The churros were nice and warm with tons of cinnamon. They were so big I could only eat two. I do think they need to give you more chocolate sauce. The little container isn't enough if you eat more than a couple churros. I would return for dessert, but not for dinner. read more

Came here for a birthday last month and this place was all kinds great. Great food, great drinks and great atmosphere. We were a large party (I think there were 13 of us) and they were able to put together an excellent table for us. The service was quick and efficient, and the food arrived around the same time, which was impressive considering the circumstances. Food-wise, a few people had the steak, which was super tasty and tender. I had the shrimp ceviche, which was excellent - however, if you want spicy, go for the aguachile. I also had the Zarandeado-Style octopus, which was probably the best octopus I've had in a long time. The best fun part of the whole experience was the overall theme of the restaurant. The whole place has a bad bunny theme, so there's a lot of bad bunny music and you even do a bad bunny shot, where a server shows up in a giant bad bunny mascot head and pours a shot in whoever you want. They also have a squid game version of it, so it's really a fun experience overall. The other positive is that it is in a large shopping center so parking isn't too terrible. Morever, there's a ton of food vendors, including a really awesome churro vendor nearby. So highly, HIGHLY recommend this place! read more

We have now been to La Más Querida Cantina & Cocina a few times and it never disappoints. We first tried it for brunch and immediately fell in love, so much so that we had to come back for dinner. The food is consistently delicious. I ordered the chicken breast, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. My husband had the enchiladas and absolutely loved them. Everything tasted thoughtful and well executed. A huge shoutout to Samuel, our waiter, who made the experience even better. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and offered great recommendations that were spot on. You can tell he truly cares about guests having a great experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in. It feels lively but relaxed, making it perfect for brunch, date night, or a casual dinner. They also have a great bar with solid non alcoholic options, which we really appreciate. This has quickly become one of our favorite spots. The chopped mango that came with fish tasted really good and fresh. Definitely recommend this dish. We decided to share the molcajete since my wife wanted to try it here and she doesn't eat a lot. We really like the sauce which was very creamy due to the cheese. Most places I tried, the sauce is thick since they out beans in it and this place doesn't. It made a big difference without the beans. If you order this dish, make sure to take the shrimp and meat out once it arrives to your table to avoid it being overcooked. You can push it into the bowl with the sauce so it can absorb the sauce. We also ordered some tacos on the side (shrimp, octopus, and ribeye). They hooked it up with the meat even though the price was a little steep. There was a lot of flavor and I can see why people were raving about it on Yelp. Overall, we really enjoyed the place and we actually saw the staff wear a Bad Bunny head while we were eating. The staff and overall environment made the place come alive. The food and drinks were definitely worth it. Just don't look at the price and enjoy the food and you will get the value instead of the cost of the meal. A group of 6 of us came out to eat here for an early Friday night dinner. I checked the reviews before coming out and expected to experience what I saw in the reviews, good service and good food. I was very disappointed, we were seated and it took over 25 minutes to get water to our table and this was after I had to call out loudly for service, it was a hot day and we were thirsty. The rice and beans were a hell no for me. The ceviche didn't have much flavor I've had better ceviche close to home. $120 of alcohol later and we didn't even have a buzz. So I suggest if you order any drink here to make sure it's not mixed just straight liquor bc I doubt the mixed stuff has much alcohol in it. If you order a drink w/o à shoe theh still charge you the same price. Our server hardly chkd on us, definitely customer service needs a lot of work here. Not a place I care to come back to. It's located in the Tropicana strip mall. Parking was a challenge as there are several restaurants & a grocery store. I would give 3.5 stars. It got very loud in there too. We checked out this spot for a Saturday brunch. The parking in the plaza can be crowded and chaotic but we were able to find parking eventually. Since it was in an area on the corner of Story and King, there happens to be vendors walking around selling random stuff. As soon as you walk out of your car, the vendors will head over and start selling. The restaurant looked beautiful and inviting inside. The decor was amazing. The bar area looks like a great spot to watch football or soccer games. We were seated immediately as we were able to beat the late brunch crowd. Complimentary chips with bean dip and salsa was a nice touch. I ordered a pozole and it was flavorful and authentic as it was served with fried tortillas and a side of minced onions, lime, and cilantro. Unfortunately it was scorching temperature hot, so it took awhile to cool down but nonetheless I enjoyed it. The wifey ordered birria with flour tortillas. The birria meat was delicious. There was so much birria that we were able to take the leftovers home to make birria enchiladas later for dinner. Lol. She also ordered the Pineapple Express that came out of a bronze pineapple cup with smokey dry ice for presentation. That cocktail was sweet. Our service was friendly and efficient. The manager/owner did check on our table and asked us in Spanish if everything was ok. We happen to be in the area because our son had golf lessons down the street at Rancho del Pueblo golf course.
