Our server was awesome. I got the capsule drink above and it was fine. Not too sweet, but very light. The person helping us out asked for feedback so he actually took that and made me a follow up cocktail. I think it was a play on a manhattan with rye. I did enjoy that beverage. The other drink, I'm pretty sure if what my friend ordered, but don't quote me on that. There were some snacks ordered and more drinks as well. I was in the SoFa district for a work event and suggested this bar to my coworkers for cocktails. I had not been to this place since it was Agenda, and I don't even know how long Courage Anyone took over. My coworkers and I stopped by around 8:45pm on a Sunday. It wasn't too busy and for Jazz Fest weekend either. Honestly the place didn't look different from what I remembered except for the bar being more well lit. Actually was there a stage in the past? Noticed that they had one for live music, which was cool. We grabbed seats at the bar and got a couple of their specialty cocktails. One was called Feel the Pulse, and the other was called It Takes Two. Both drinks were fruity, tropical, and refreshing. So good you wouldn't know that they'll quickly get under you. read more

Came here last week for the first time with my husband and some friends to celebrate my birthday. It was a Tuesday night so we had the whole place to ourselves for a while . The spot was so cute too loved the vibes and they had big sofa/tables to seat a group . The 2 gentlemen working that night were so friendly. The drinks were beautiful and taste really good while also packing a punch ;) they were so kind and surprised us with karaoke for my birthday ! I didn't even know they had Karaoke lol You know us girlies looooved it . We had so much fun . It became my friend's birthday at the stroke of midnight, so thank you for making both of our birthday nights one for the books ! I came in here on a whim on 408 SJ Day! I was able to meet the owner, he was unbelievably friendly and accommodating. This place opened up 4 months ago and I couldn't believe how inviting the place is. The ambience is very pleasant and homey. I liked how appreciative he was of us stopping by. He even let us sample our drinks prior to choosing. I got a semi dessert wine which was super yummy. If you're ever in the area I recommend stopping by. We came here during the soft opening and loved the vibes! They currently have a Sippin' Santa Pop Up with their fun, tiki bar drink. There was a good mix of music playing, which was great for a Friday night. For drinks, I got the pineapple upside down cask, which reminded me of a Mai Tai drink from Hawaii. For the group, we got the punch bowl drink to share, and it was delicious as well. All the mugs that the drinks came in were super cute, and they are also available for purchase. The silent "nightcap" was also really good, but it does contain espresso. You also get to take home the souvenir cup, which is perfect for the holidays. The servers and bartenders were all very nice and attentive. Our glasses were frequently refilled with water, with the occasional question of whether we needed another drink. The theme of the bar will be rotated with the seasons, so now is a good time to check out the holiday offerings. We'll be back soon! read more

Here's what I sampled: 4.7/5: Holiday on Ice: very boozy coffee cocktail. You can get it with vodka or bourbon. Go with Bourbon. 4.6: Sippin' Santa cocktail: Amaro and rum. It's naturally sparkly. 4.6: Jingle Bird. Very good variation on the Jungle Bird. Amped up with allspice and cranberry. 4.0: Sugar Plum Mai Tai. New bar that took over the avenue I believe. It's right next to haberdasher around the corner. I think it brings another solid cocktail spot to the area. The bar is from the same owners as 55 South or maybe it was paper planes I forget... But with those guys you can't really go wrong. The drinks were good. This cocktail bar was the perfect bar to start the night. The vibes were great, customer service was excellent, and the entire place was heavily decorated for the holidays. I came here with a large group of people and hung around a booth. However, some of us were standing, which we were totally okay with. A staff then voluntarily pulled a table and chairs for us so that everyone can sit together. This was a very nice gesture and we truly appreciated it! As for the drinks, I ordered the Frost Bite - which was one of their very few holiday drinks that was not rum. Their holiday drinks are so cute and come with their own unique cup. The Frost Bite was a tequila cocktail with sweet and fruity flavor. I'm glad that the place wasn't crowded at all, but still had enough people + a DJ to keep the night alive! read more

I came here last Saturday for a little lunar new year outing with my cousin. The place is SOOOOOO PRETTY. There were Chinese lanterns decorated all over the ceiling and it was pretty dang spacious inside. Something that many bars lack, especially in DTSJ. The vibes were immaculate. DJ was awesome. Just unfortunate that it was a little quiet and no one was dancing on the floor despite the bangers played by the DJ. The drinks are on the expensive side though. I got their open sesame daiquiri and OMG it was soooo yummy. Transported me to my childhood when I would eat those sesame mochi balls. The mushu and crickey mocktail was slightly bitter and very refreshing, it hit the spot on a warm day. I especially liked the chicken liver parfait and the roasted garlic hummus dip. The owner graciously made an appearance and served a dessert drink to top off a very special evening.
