Typically, when I walk over from my office, I always have a craving for this place. There's mainly one woman who I always see by herself, and she's an absolute sweetheart; very patient, accommodating, and customer oriented. This is also why I always refer my clients. However, today had me irritated. The previous week, I bought the MangoNeada, and the sweet younger woman allowed me to keep my ice cream bar on the side, still wrapped. My order was perfect! Today, there was another older woman, and when I requested not to have my pick of choice ice cream inside, she told me she would charge me additional. What additional cost am I paying for when it comes with my order? The plastic it's wrapped in. When I explained that it wasn't an issue the previous week, she immediately resorted to "I'm the manager," which has no relevance to the inconsistencies. If anything, the proper way of holding that badge of honor is to simply say that you can make an exception, though moving forward, these are our company protocols. Furthermore, she added cucumbers instead of the mango chunks that the video clearly shows. Even the younger girl looked at my order, knowing it wasn't correct. I'm an office manager myself, and I always find a solution, resolution, or try my best to accommodate my clients before flinging the manager badge as though you're trying to compensate. This place charges more prices than the ones they have listed! I did get a biónico that was $7.00 plus taxes and it came out to be $12.00 plus taxes. If you see at the store they have no prices anywhere. So it's easier for us to just scan the code for prices, instead for us to be asking prices for anything. I came here tonight 2 hours before closing to get a desert with my boyfriend. After we ordered we sat down at the chairs to wait when I noticed I sat in something. I got up immediately and realized I sat in bleach cleaning solution. There was no sign to not sit there or any visible evidence that it was wet. The worker then shouted "DONT SIT THERE" After I already had. My entire outfit was ruined and covered in bleach. I informed them they need to have a sign and can't leave bleach cleaning solution unattended on their seats where anyone can sit. I like coming here after visiting the aquarium. In terms of cost; the treats, drinks and icecream are easier on your wallet than the other locations around the aquarium. They have family combos and the staff are great in making sure you get the best deal. Food was great I got an esquite and mini pancake order. However, I felt very uncomfortable when I was dining in. A worker started mopping the whole store, even mopped my boots and afterwards said excuse me. I instantly thought "Are we getting kicked out?" I would give no stars if I could. I went at 9pm when they close till 10pm. My boyfriend ordered and I sat to save the table. When the rude cleaning lady told us to go and started basically kicking us out. There was still other people sitting and eating why didn't she kick them out? Extremely rude. And makes no sense it's one whole hour before closing. Oh and the worst fresas con crema ever more like fresas and whip cream.
