Paris Baguette finally opened in Long Beach, right across from the Convention Center and by the Pike. What I like: Their pastries are soft and chewy, and the cakes look beautiful and taste even better. What I don't like: Prices are steep at $4-$5 for items that aren't very filling, but service is generous. I ordered a birthday cake, which I highly recommend. It's fluffy and not overpowered with sweetness. They even included a free cake cutter and match. The spacious interior, bright atmosphere, and plentiful outlets make it a great spot to study or hang out.

I love me some Paris baguettes but then again, there's some locations that's just whatever. This particular was a first time for me. Didn't even know that they had one here till we were walking by. I popped in maybe an hour after seeing it for something sweets. It didn't help the fact that this past weekend there was a cheer or dance competition happening across the street at the convention center. Hence it was slow. There's a nice little patio seating along the front when you walk in. It's a decent size location with a few tables inside. It was still early in the afternoon and majority of the glass counter were emptied. There was barely anything on the shelves and whatever was there, nothing really looked appealing. They did have a few savory items left. Cakes counter still had some sweets. Ended up just picking up their twist donuts as that was really the only thing that looked decent. Then there was the wait, it took forever. I finally reach the counter just to pay. There was only one cashier which I don't want to sound rude or mean, but she was slow. By the time I reached the cake counter, there was a line towards the door. And still only one person ringing up and packing the items up. Then it comes to the taste test. The first bite of the donut, it was stale and very chewy. That can't happen so fast if it was freshly made that morning. I don't know if they carry it on for the next day or so but both of the twist were stale. Not just us that noticed it, a table next to us said the same thing with what they ordered. I've been to loads of the other locations and each visit, everything was fresh and great. This location, probably be the first and last time. It's prime spot as it's part of the pike but if they're continuing to sell stale pastries, it's probably not worth it.

Really cool spot in Long Beach not too far from the convention center, very young and hip staff treating guest as they walk in. Coffee and drinks were really nice and good options to choose from. Breakfast items were super good. The Korean iced coffee was a huge plus with how great the balance was with sweet and strength. Staff were very nice and constantly busy and focused of serving the patrons with kindness. Overall for the price and style nice spot. You choose your items place it on a tray and they can warm up your food. Will be coming back here just to study or catch up with some friends

Happy to finally have a decent dessert place that's open late in a Downtown Long Beach. Came here to pickup some patties for my team since they've been working so hard on deadlines. It's your typical Paris Baguette so you know what you're getting and the consistency of their products. This particular spot carries that well, so there are no surprises. Friendly staff. In a modern cafe with an Asian twist to the Parisian inspiration. It you are a resident near by, please support them, we need a dessert places that serves items other than muffins during the day and I to the evening. Though IMO, with all the convention traffic they'll do just fine.

There are a few breads and cookies that are individually wrapped and easy to grab and go. The rest you'll grab a tray and remove pastries from the cabinets with a pair of tongs, then take it to the register for them to ring up and bag or plate for you. Large variety of pastries available, along with cakes and espresso and tea drinks made to order. The King Cream Donut filling was custardy and sweet, but it needed more cream filling. The donut was fluffy and slightly sweet. The ham and cheese pastry was SO GOOD, I bought another after I ate one. Make sure to get it toasted. The cheese and seasoning on top has so much flavor and the pastry is so buttery and flaky. The latte with nutella tasted a little watered down, but the chai was creamy and well-spiced. There's some seating inside, along with a patio outside.

Very excited to have a Paris Baguette in Long Beach! I usually frequent one in Cerritos. Baked goods are very fresh! This new location is a replica of the others with self-service items and other items (cakes, sandwiches, coffees) that you order at the counter. I was surprised to see a nice selection of whole cakes along with slices in the cases. Service waa great with friendly staff. I pre-ordered a cake online to be picked up. The process was very easy. I ordered the Cappuccino Cake. It looked just like the photo online! The taste was so good! We all loved the cake! They did a beautiful job and personalizing it with a birthday wish! If you like coffee flavored sweets, definitely a great one to try out. Over the years, I have had many different flavors, and now this one is my personal favorite! The cake was very fresh and moist! The cake was packaged very well for toting back to the car. Parking is a bit of a challenge in this area. The Pike has the Aquarium close by along with a lot of stores to shop. The convention center is close by. There is a parking structure and some street parking. Much closer to street park if you are going to be in and out quickly. There isn't any "green" short-term parking close by, a bit of a hike with a cake. Hoping management reads this review and petitions the city for a short-term space(s) close by. I am sure this set up is mostly for foot traffic. I definitely will return when in the area to shop, quick bites, but for Whole Cake, need to stick with Cerritos location. Fortunately, this was a smaller and lighter cake so I was able to get from store to the car without an accident.

Delicious pastries that almost made me feel like I was back in Paris. I will definitely be returning especially for the cheesecake bites! And the cookie croissant as well as the pineapple danish!

I'm so glad that they're in Long Beach. Such a great spot to visit because the variety of pastries is great and you can also grab a sandwich or soda if you're hungry. You're definitely not getting the quality of desserts ingredients that you would get in Europe so the fact that it's called Paris is a bit misleading, but I think Paris baguette is known for being an Asian style type of bakery. Nevertheless, everything is fresh and if you need a cake last minute for an occasion, they also have whole cakes. They have coffee, sodas, and other drinks.

Enjoyed the balance of fruit cereal taste with cream filling. I like how their donuts are light and not overly sweet. Only feedback is cereal pieces fall off a little easy. Service is always great and love the phone shopping experience.

Paris Baguette opened this new location in Long Beach, on Pine Ave, close to the water. The place was busy on a Sunday morning, there's some seating inside, cute bistro tables and chairs. Too bad they don't have any seating outside, it was such a nice, sunny day! The shop has always a good, solid selection of pastries, you pick them up, go and pay. We wanted some savory pastries and grabbed their Quiche Lorraine version which was very tasty and the hash brown bread with ham and cheese, always a nice, indulging treat. I asked the staff member who helped us to heat them up. He was nice to do so, but I had to work hard to get his attention (he was talking to another staff member) that we didn't need them packed since we were gonna eat them there. More attention to the customer would be appreciated! Since it was a hot day, we shared a strawberry smoothie, very well blended! We wanted an iced peach tea, which is on their menu, but they didn't have it that day! Great selection of pastries, desserts, sandwiches, savory items, cakes, coffee-s and some iced drinks. Paris Baguette is solid and has something for everybody! Glad it opened here! Saved our breakfast/snack break!

This new Paris Baguette is well decorated and has plenty of beautiful cakes, pastries, sandwiches, and more! It's conveniently located right across from the convention center, so it's in a good walkable area, however parking can be difficult. It's a great spot to grab some affordable breakfast or lunch, but my favorite thing to get here is the blueberry yogurt cake slice. So delicious, light, and not too sweet!

    Beautiful spot!

This place is INSANELY GOOD!!! They just opened a location close to my office and that's problematic because now I want to eat there daily! You can park on metered street parking. The restaurant is beautiful and clean, and quite large with plenty of seating if you choose to eat inside. Clean bathrooms. I love any of the pastries with fruit and also LOVE the savory options here! I had some sorry of curry pasty and it was DELISH!! I also love their fancy salted pretzel croissants. I also tried the chicken salad sandwich and it was super yummy. The pre packaged salads are also fresh and delicious here! I ordered an iced salted pretzel latte and it wasn't great, but with this being a new location I think they just needed to work out a couple kinks on the cafe side. Everyone working there was SO nice, friendly x and helpful and seemed like a great team! I'll be back and then back again! Absolutely love this place!!

I did find a secret place with free 2 hour parking on the NE corner of Purdue Ave. and Olympic Blvd.. :) Ambiance/Decor: Neat ambiance with a few modern furnishings to sit, eat, and enjoy ones company. Service: Service was great! Tera (staffer) was very nice, attentive, offered great suggestions, and was quite informative about the shop. She also informed me that I was able to get two complimentary macarons. Patisserie Of Choice: 1) Blossom: Consisted of vanilla mousse, pistachio/red berries insert, pistachio crunch, and pistachio sponge. It was too pretty to eat, but I ate it anyways. So good and soo yum! 2) Roche: Consisted of hazelnut mousse, house made praline combined with soft caramel, hazelnut sponge. Taste like a Ferrer Rocher! It's very dense and sweet, but great to eat. Not something I'll have all the time. Macarons Of Choice : I got the Cookies and Cream and pistacio. They were both good. Artelice Patisserie For Thought: Wouldn't mind coming back. Everywhere I looked was so pretty, I couldn't decide where to sit at our reserved table for a party of 5. We dressed up for the occasion. My daughter ordered beautiful hats for us ladies. My grandson wore a fedora and his sister had a pink bow band in her hair which matched the lovely mauve pink velvet on the chairs. The service? Wow! Friendly, elegant, helpful at suggestions. A 10 out of 5. Layla and Billy were our star butlers for the afternoon. Layla suggested a peppermint tea for the children, for example. (Ages 10 and 11) And now about the tea. Each chose their special drink from about 50 types of tea, including herbal and chai. Served in antique looking ceramic tea pots, each a different one! My choice was Strawberry Shortcake tea, a gentile berry taste. There were pink heart shape sugar cubes in tiny bowls with tiny gold ones to serve one lump or too. Honey and sweetener are available too. Everyone had their table set with individual china cups and matching saucer, plus treats plate. Gold serviceware wrapped in pink napkins. Flowers on the wall and at the tables. This is the best party I've ever had! Now about the food. Excellent. Elegantly presented on three-tiered china plate serving trays. Delicious tea sandwiches - cut in dainty triangles - and my favorite - cucumber sandwich! Don't forget about the delectable traditional tea sweets, pretty and perfectly prepared. Miniature cookies, scones, plus bites of cheesecake, blueberry crumble, brownie, and more. There is pink cream cheese , preserves, and "clotted' cream too. Party all inclusive packages are about $45 per person - BUT- there are individual items too, reasonably priced for an afternoon with a friend. I've been to other tea houses but this takes the birthday cake! A dream come true. Thank you!

Nothing notable to say about the service. Brown Bear - $8.75 Rating: (5/10) At first look, the dessert is almost too cute to eat. The taste, once you actually start eating it, was really light, almost tasteless, with a lack of depth to the chocolate flavor. There was also very minimal rasqpberry and strawberry filling. Garlic Bird - $8.75 Rating: (1/10) This dessert was honestly pretty awful. The pairing of flavors is a bit odd and bold. The crisp green grape flavor is very difficult to pair well with the earthy notes of jasmine and taro. The combination of grape and a pasty taro filling doesn't work well, in my opinion. It feels like a bad take on the trending jasmine grape drinks with chewy taro balls. Strawberry Mousse - $7.50 Rating: (4/10) It was okay. There was too much going on inside this small dessert, and the flavor of the jammy interior was a bit weird. The description listed strawberry and pistachio jam, raspberry puree, chocolate crystal jelly, and Baileys Irish Cream. Egg Tart - $0.99 Rating: (10/10) If I ever come back, I'll buy a dozen of these egg tarts for $12. Pretty good, and the price is unbeatable.

I enjoyed the matcha cheesecake, garlic sea salt bread, and raspberry cruffin as well. I also grabbed an egg bacon bread and regular sea salt bread to-go for future breakfasts. Warmed up, these were great in the morning! To drink I had the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte which was not too sweet and yummy! Good matcha flavor and the banana pudding was creamy. Mixed together, it was good. I also enjoyed the crunchy bits in there as well as the real banana slices. I got it at the small size, but the portion was generous. It went well with the pastries. There's some inside seating and tables as well as a bathroom available. There is lots of free parking around the bakery. I went in the afternoon on a Sunday and it was still packed! I love how the bakers were constantly baking even in the afternoon, so they brought out fresh batches of their pastries. Overall, a great bakery and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the Fullerton area.

I feel bad for some many good eateries and drink places. Amidst inflation, high costs,…read moresocial-media-brain-damaged-angry people, and all the road ragers... It's easier than ever to nitpick and put down great places for food and drink. However, given all the above, it's still impossible to gripe about Bag of Cakes. It is UNBELIEVABLE how GREAT their food, people and prices are. In fact, I don't know how they do it! If you want AMAZING drinks and snack, get over here. I wont bother to tell you what coffee, matcha and bakery items I got... Because everything was so damn good. Best of all, the prices are low for what you get! Get over here as soon as you can! And they're in the same little plaza as GoGoMa (see my review on that amazing place!)

Soft jazz music played throughout the café, creating a peaceful ambiance that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the space. One of my favorite things about this café was the variety of drinks available. There were so many interesting options to choose from, and I decided to try the Sakura Latte. It was beautifully presented and had a delicate floral flavor that was both unique and refreshing. You can tell that a lot of thought goes into both the taste and presentation of the drinks. The dessert display was equally impressive. The cake case was filled with a variety of beautiful, aesthetic-looking cakes and pastries that immediately caught my attention. Everything looked carefully crafted and almost too pretty to eat. Even if you're not planning on ordering dessert, it's worth taking a look at the display because it's truly eye-catching. The café is also incredibly photogenic. There are plenty of aesthetic corners, cute décor elements, and picture-perfect spots throughout the space, making it great for Instagram photos. The combination of natural lighting and tasteful interior design creates a welcoming environment that's both stylish and comfortable. They also offer a 30% off student discount which is so generous! I appreciate the friendly service and letting me know about the discount :) Overall, this café is a great place to study, work remotely, catch up with friends, or simply unwind with a drink and dessert. Between the smooth jazz music, wide selection of beverages, beautiful cakes, Instagram-worthy interior, and generous student discount, it's definitely a spot I'll be returning to again.

They were all desserts. Very expensive desserts for their size. Mint Latte: I did not enjoy it. It had a floral chaser that lingered in my nose and haunted me even an hour later. So why 3 stars? The person I was with enjoyed it, so it's good for some people. Just not for me.
