Caprese sandwich , Petite Caesar Salade, Chai latte, refresher

The ingredients in everything is so fresh! I love how you can seat yourself and they work fast to serve you quickly, it's also such a nice place to eat at overall, feels like you've been transported to France.

good value for price. I tried the Tomato Basil Soup, which was rich and comforting, and the Potato Galette, a crispy, cheesy French-style potato cake that was definitely my favorite. i like the cozy cottage vibe inside too. will comeback and try diff soup

Today my friend and I had brunch/lunch here and it was delicious! I usually get the same thing every time I come. I got the Cafe Sampler! The pasta salad is delicious. I also got a Quiche Loraine! The service today was also really great and everyone was very friendly and ready to help! I love coming to La Madeleine for good quality, quick service eats!

I woke up early and wanted to run some errands. However, nothing was open except this place. Boy, was I glad I gave it a try. Do you like French everything? This hidden gem is the place for you! When you walk up to the front door, french music starts to play. You walk in, the ambiance, the friendly staff, and the beautiful display of the bakery selection. It's like you're walking into an actual bakery store. I ordered the Florentine Quiche, a cup of cream of mushroom, a chai latte, and yogurt parfait. I will definitely walk out with some bakery later and bring my family here next time. What an awesome restaurant and experience I've had in a while.

Half of a ham and swiss quiche. That crust was so flaky and buttery! Delicious!

I know I lived in Atlanta for 10 years. And I never visited this franchise restaurant. I always try to eat at small independent French bakeries! But driving around endlessly looking for a French only Bakery Google Map ended me here. And in my 10 years of living in Atlanta I never visited Duluth or John's Creek area. Hence this was the fourth French restaurant I stopped at to make sure that this wasn't a bubble tea spot. But a croissant and quiche spot! So just FYI be careful of that if you're in that Duluth and John's Creek area. They may sound French and then there is one called Paris baguette! They're bubble tea and sweet bun spots. Not the colonizer French bakery spots! So yes my desperation to have authentic French pastries and breakfast first thing in the morning brought me to this franchise place I would have never frequented. However it was actually nice. It would have gotten five stars but it did what so many restaurants are doing right now. Not turning on heat! The people who sit on the outskirts were in their coats and hats while eating. Otherwise people clamor towards the middle of the restaurant near the fire pit. And while waiting on all my pastries to be bagged I stood over there by the fire pit as well. Y'all have got to stop being cheap with the heat! So this franchised food... surprise surprise surprise! That coconut cake made me think of being in the Deep South on Sundays after somebody's Big Mama's funeral. Oh yes that cake was rich and delicious! Had more of a cream or maybe even custard type versus coconut milk or cream of coconut milk. Either way it was worth waiting for them to cut me a slice! And the pastries were delicious. They didn't taste as manufactured as I expected them to. Now what really surprised me with this restaurant, was that everybody who worked there spoke french! And it appeared as though it was all of the ethnic groups that France had colonized! But they were all speaking their french! Even helped two Muslim Vietnamese ladies with the door. I was so tickled listening to them speak French to a staff member there! I was like okay I get it I get it I get it! This is where all of the ethnic groups that have been colonized by the French come and gather! That was the cutest thing I saw at this restaurant. So many of the people who ate there and all of the people who work there spoke french!

It has been a long time since I ate here. From the outside it looked quiet and I wasn't sure how they faired with Covid. But I opened the door and the place was busy with customers. They are still short staffed but I enjoyed my food. Just a hint, order the cafe sampler which is half quiche, small salads, cup of soup. You'll get your food on the spot because the cashier is the one who pulls this plate together. I had the cream of mushroom soup, Caesar salad, flirting quiche. They now pour the dressing on top instead of tossing together, and the free jam is in a dispenser not in little containers any more. These are just a few short cuts they've created to try and keep up with demand. The staff is working so hard with their resources and I just hope they can make it through this pandemic.

Always a pleasure eating here! I frequent the Perimeter location more due to work but this location is closer to home. I ordered the usual Chicken Cesar salad w/tomatoe basil soup. Made to order! It was not as busy possibly due to Covid but there were a steady flow of customers. I opted to dine in . Found a quiet cozy spot near the patio exit. During the Fall/Winter months the fire place is lit. Enjoyed the food and ambiance. Friendly staff as well. The only thing that I was disappointed in is they were out of the sliced bread to go along with the delicious berry spread. There was 1 slice not enough for a baby to eat . The mgr said they were all out at the time but more was in the oven. I couldn't wait another hour so maybe next time.

My first time here did not disappoint! Upon walking in, you'll get in line and see all the items of food before ordering at the register. You will see an active fireplace in the middle of their restaurant with plenty of seating throughout, and alongside the windows. The tables, decor and smell of coffee is authentic to their story/history. It felt like I was in a French cottage house somewhere in the countryside of France somewhere ordering food I loved it. I ordered a country French breakfast with a cappuccino to accompany it. Served hot, and really tasty. The potato cake was surprisingly one of my favorite items. The texture was ideal: crispy but not crunchy and flavorful!!! I will definitely be back with my laptop one day bc of the ambiance and coffee it's the perfect combo.

Plenty of parking even for trucks on the front!

Today, on the last day of May, 2024, came back and was not disappointed! Same experience as my last rating validated again, thank you management!

Breakfast was simple but good. The orange juice was fresh squeezed and the croissants were very good. The hash browns were also delicious.

One of my favorite cafes in Duluth! They have a big tea latte selection, which is so helpful…read more(because sometimes a girl just wants a tea and not a coffee, you know?) I've tried a variety of their drinks, and my go-to is the Strawberry Earl Grey latte. It's SO GOOD. Nothing is overly sweet, and the tea flavor really shines. My brother likes the mango matcha and my cousin always goes for the vanilla earl grey latte (coffee) or the pistachio latte. We also enjoy their sandwiches too. Would definitely recommend this place! They have a little punch card, where your 10th drink is free, and the owner is so nice! There's waves of people coming and going, but it's not constantly super packed like other places. It's not the biggest place, but you can find seating, and it's a nice place to get stuff done. I wish I could gatekeep this place, but I also want them to be successful. Go try them out!

Summary: Great coffee, calm study cafe, just a bitter experience due to the owner…read more Black Sesame Ice Cream Latte: Yummy!! Would order again in a heartbeat. It's a couple scoops of ice cream with espresso. Pumpkin Spiced Latte: Was good but nothing outstanding. Peanut Butter Cream Einspanner (Iced): Peanut butter cream was good, but once you mix the drink together the peanut flavor is lost. If you like the darker bolder coffee taste, this is a good one to try. Vibe: Music is always upbeat and peaceful, mostly a calm study cafe but some people grab and go. Service: On my first visit I was offered a stamp card. 10 stamps, and your next item is free. The owner is always there and is very welcoming and polite, but it's only for the sake of business. It's not genuine friendliness or care for customers. When I picked up my PSL, I immediately noticed the cup was too light. I ordered a large and there was at least 1.5 inches of space between the fill line and the rim of the cup. Why pay extra for a large if I'm getting served a small? Given that the drink was prepared by the cafe owner herself, I would have been embarrassed to serve a customer such a drink. My other complaint is that I'd visited 3 times in the past two weeks, sat in the cafe for at 3+ hours each time, and was in a rush to attend a important zoom meeting, and planned to order after my meeting was over. 30 mins in, I was actively speaking on the video call when the cafe owner interrupted me to say that I couldn't sit without ordering a drink. So many parts of me want to justify her behavior, maybe she's anxious about the cafe not making enough money - but given that she has seen me before and I was actively speaking - that rubbed me the wrong way. I was beginning to feel comfortable at the cafe but that moment made me hesitant to return. If this hadn't happened, I would have considered this a 5/5 star establishment and found a go-to study spot.

The ube latte was a perfect level of sweet as is & great flavor. The dalgona latte was on the sweeter side but had a really good flavor. I would get again if I could do half sweet. The garlic cheese bagel might have been my favorite part tbh. It took some time but very worth it. It was a mozzarella stuffed bagel with a garlic honey butter. Would absolutely recommend. The interior is very sleek and two stories high, making it an ideal study spot. I found service to be friendly and quick. We got the Ube Cream Latte, Bagel Pizza, and Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Croissant. The Ube Cream Latte tasted pretty typical, but when you get a sip of the ube part, it was thick and creamy and tasted good on its own. I did not finish the drink as it belonged to my friend, but I think mixing everything together probably makes it taste better. My friend thought the Bagel Pizza was fine and I found the Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Croissant to be very savory despite it being a "basic" sandwich. My honest rating of this spot would be a 3.75/5 stars, but I would come back here to study, do work, or chill with friends. I also want to try their other food, specifically the Garlic Butter Bread!

This place is always packed!…read more I can't even remember the first time I visited cafe blue but I remember I purchased an iced americano. The cafe is located in a shopping center with shared parking. I love the name and the aesthetic of this place. The staff is always really kind and patient. You definitely don't always get that kind of treatment at local coffee shops. I have tried their Einspanner and can confirm it's my favorite! The tuna smash (not pictured) was so tasty! I love the sourdough a the flavor profile of the tuna. I ate the entire thing so fast. I definitely recommend. The menu consist of a few items and they have a lot of sweet treat options available.
