We had the asada and the Al pastor tacos - perfect, and big portions. Served traditionally with lime and no heavy accoutrements. Can't wait to try everything else on the menu!

"Did you already eat birria tacos?"…read more I lived in SoCal for over 6 years, and I had my share of tacos over those years. But I never had or heard of birria tacos. Good Mexican food was hard to get for years in BPT, but now there are whole in the walls, taco trucks, and restaurants plenty to choose from. Like I said I had so many tacos that I kinda stay away from them, and try other foods. But something you got that taco craving and it ain't on Tuesdays. So we went to this little spot, with 20 chairs (my wife counted them smh). We ordered our birria, carne asada, and waited patiently to be served. They take their time, and I mean this in the positive sense, they prepare with care. The birria tacos were tender and generously filled. I loved them at first bite. My wife had the carna asada, they looked good, and probably were she tore them up. Not even a bite was offered. While I gave her some off mine, smh. We got another order to go shrimp tacos for my son at home. He told me they were good, he grew up on Mexican food, so he knows. This is a great place to get your taco fix.

This is perfect for sharing with kids. We got multiple orders chicken, carnita, and steak tacos. It came with rice and beans. They threw in a churro stick, so yummy. The tacos here are authentic, affordable, and flavorful. The service makes you feel at home. I'd definitely come back.

I was in a hurry and didn't pay much attention to the menu, but it seemed like they had a good number of traditional taqueria options. I ordered a Pastor Taco, a Chorizo Taco and an Asada Taco. While they were fresh-making the tacos, they brought me a complimentary tostada! Loved that they did that! So nice! The tacos were terrific. First of all, they were stuffed. Most great taquerias in CT selling tacos at this reasonable price point, don't fill them so full. But it doesn't matter if the filling isn't great. Each taco was great. The meats. The toppings of onions and cilantro. The hot sauces they give you. All delicious. Some of the best tacos I've had this year, and I've eaten my share of tacos at 4.5 Yelp Star and up places this year. I didn't realize the tacos would come with rice and beans. I was actually going to a food event after I left Super T, but I tried the refried beans. Very good. I don't live near Bridgeport, but I'll be sneaking over to Super Taqueria every chance I get. 5 Stars

The food was good but not mouthwatering like I anticipated. The consome was too sweet for my liking but the Birria was definitely tender so they have that going. One of our orders of empanadas came out wrong. I ordered chicken and it came out as beef. The elote dip was 2/5. Not worth the price tag. Overall the servers were great but the food was just good. Let's begin a rainy day review!…read more So Blue Agave came up on my Activity Feed after an Elite I had met at a previous event had reviewed it themselves, and I had been kind of wanting to give Blue Agave a try ever since. Actually, if not for Southern Classic Daiquiri Factory which opened much closer to the station, I would have come here last month. Better late than never I suppose? So anywho, I made my way over on the way home from an in-service training at work. Honestly, other than having to cross a gas station across the street from it, this was pretty straightforward to get to. Like the same reviewer I had learned about this place from, I too was at first confused upon arrival. In my case, it was because the right side had their lights on, making me wonder if it was two places with one being closed. Turns out, they're both part of the same location! So I went inside. Now, because I was kind of in a hurry, I had to do take-out, and thankfully, service obliged without complaint. It was easy to pick up a menu and make clear what I had wanted to order. This is something in which this place succeeded at where another Mexican restaurant just walking distance from my apartment back home was completely failed. That way, when I finally made my order, I knew what was getting. I went with the nachos chorizo, and they gave me all the works (without the tomatoes of course because I don't put tomatoes in my orders if I can help it). I also got the fruit punch soda in a glass bottle. I will say, if you get soda like this, make sure you have a bottle opener. I used my handheld blade kit that had a bottle opener as one of the tools and used that when I made it all the way home. The drink was good (definitely drink this cold if possible), and so were the nachos. Actually, the chorizo nachos would be perfect for those who prefer a little spice in their foods. These definitely had a decent kick to them, and the jalapeños only accentuated this. The chorizo is juicy, and the cheese is tasty. You can see some onion, avocado, and I think there might be refried bean in there too? Either way, this comes together quite well I must say. I would say Blue Agave is off to a pretty good start here. I'm gonna hold off on a 5 for now, but I'll gladly give it a 4. I'd be more than happy to try out a few more items here in the future and get a better look around the place next time.

So if you're passing around, I suggest you give them a try and support this family businesses.
