a plate of food on a table

SO UNBELIEVABLY GOOD! At buffet places like these it's hard to maintain great quality and fresh food all day long but they know how to rotate and make their food so flavorful and tasty! This place also has such a nostalgic feel to it and the spanish music on and soccer on the tv in the background really make it a comfortable space to stay in! I will always choose this pantanal spot it's just too good to ever stop returning!!!

This Is your traditional Brazilian Churrasceria. Essentially you are able to follow the line and load up your plate with the various offerings they have. You have salad options, rice, potatoes, and even some pasta to load up your dish. Make sure you leave plenty of space for your protein. They have steak, chicken and sausage. I am sure they have other offerings but those tend to be my selections when I dine so I know for sure they have those for sure. You pay by the weight of your food and you can either dine in or takeout if you choose. The dining area is not glamorous or high end but the food is good. If you are looking for the aesthetics then you may be disappointed. Overall the food is good and if you just want to grab something and be on the go then this may be a good option.

I've been coming here for over five years and have not been disappointed. I moved to Boston two years ago and this place still has a hold on me. Going to the high school around the corner, I could literally smell the grill firing up. 10/10 recommend. They have adapted to covid. For example, everyone is required to wear a mask, enter through the side door, and you are supplied with gloves before picking up your food. I like how they put the salad bar in containers, but the rice, meats, and other sides are still open buffet style (hence the gloves). I recommend the potato salad!!! Not only can you get food, but there are tons of desserts and drinks available. The mango drink is my fav so is the Brazilian soda. Heads up I never spend less than $20 at this place. I believe it's $10 per pound or around that price. Staff are also very friendly and it's nice to see the familiar faces. Definitely a Bridgeport staple.

This place literally becomes a part of the trip every single time I have to drive within even 30 mins of Bridgeport... it's that good. A MUST stop. One of the best Brazilian BBQ spots in the entire northeast corridor (I'm talking from Virginia North), can't speak highly enough of it.

This is the type of place a lot of people on Yelp live for.......wow! Litterally in the middle of what would be considered a fairly sketchy neighborhood and to back that up, as I was parking, there were police cars with lights flashing and a couple people laying on the ground outside but DO NOT LET ANYTHING STOP YOU FROM COMING HERE. WHY?!!?!? Because this: - Food is cheap - Food is authentic - Food is good (actually more like amazing) - Food is tasty - Food is great - Food is food AND the service was super friendly and inviting making you feel right at home. But what is so good about this place other than the food? The food of course! Alright getting a little more serious now, sorry I'm just so happy I found this hidden gem. They serve the food buffet style and you pay BY THE POUND so don't forget to stuff your plate with the best of the best. QUICK EXAMPLE: A pound of brisket is the same price as a pound of salad. IF YOU COME HERE AND DO NOT GET ANY GRILLED MEATS THEN YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO RECONSIDER YOUR THOUGHTS. Yes, the grilled meats they offer such as their Brazilian style brisket, pork, steak, beef ribs, chicken and so much more are all amazing. Even the sausage was good, EVERYTHING was good! I got to try the steak, brisket, sausage and from their non-grilled section I had black beans, rice and oxtail stew. The oxtail, beans and rice were great but the brisket and steak.............my God. For this price? (About $45 for 5 people who stuffed themselves so about $9 or $10 dollars per person) 100% worth it, I was stuffed, the food was tasty, my wallet was happy, the staff members were great, the food was of course made with love. THE FOOD WAS MADE WITH LOVE. That statement above should be my entire review. In fact, I'm gonna end it here since you get the point and I'm not telling you more so that you can go there and find out yourself. Thank me later and give this place a try.

4 stars for a few reasons. I had this place bookmarked for a while. After a spontaneous extended Sunday evening at the casino and rushing back home this place was still open at 10:30 PM. There were 6 other patrons; 4 dining and 2 others going for take out as well. There were still options of meat on the rotisserie. The guy even went in the back to slice up an avocado for me. I really appreciated that simple because....20 mins till closing usually people only have leaving work on their minds. Everyone was polite. This place isn't fancy but it's very spacious. You can bring kids here and have a nice family meal. They have great dessert options and Brazilian(I think) candies if you'd like to try their goodies as well as gum for an after meal fresher. Food was tasty. It hit the spot. I wasn't blown away but I was satisfied with no complaints.

I'm going to have a sugar high soon. My favorite soda on earth.

I have eaten here a few times and I'm never disappointed. You have to serve yourself, but it's easy. The food is weighted by the pound.

If you're on the hunt for a traditional French bakery with authentic French and European pastries, desserts, and breads, you will happily walk out of here with a bag of wonderful goodies. When you walk in, you'll come across a tempting display case piled high with their baked goods. I saw platters of croissants of every description! Plain, Chocolate, Choc/Raspberry, Almond, Almond/Choc, Croissant Donuts and Croissant donut holes. But wait there's more! Brioches, chocolate Plies, Pinwheels, fruit turnovers, Cinnamon Rolls, Coffee Cakes, Danishes, Beignets, Scones, Fruit Tarts, Palmiers. The list goes on and on and I haven't even gotten to their cookies, macarons, baguettes, rolls, challah, cakes, quiches, and sandwiches. Seriously, you can have three meals a day here for a month and never duplicate anything. When I walked in, the dining room was pretty busy with customers enjoying a late lunch. The ordering line for baked goods was around five deep, which gave me plenty of time to check out the goods. I ended up with a nice assortment of a chocolate croissant, a chocolate Plie, a fruit turnover, donuts, and a fruit pie. We had some of the goodies last night and a bit more for breakfast today. The chocolate plié was amazing, and honestly, everything we've tried so far has been great. Easy FIVE STARS, n'est-ce pas?

Keep in mind, these are made to order so there is a wait unlike your standard donut shop. I was wondering who the heck could come up with such a genius concept and that's when the owner walked by with a large tray of donuts, visibly happy with his brand new brick-and-mortar shop as this business started off as a food truck. I knew this place would be a hit when I saw two women order literal buckets of the mini donuts. I paired my decadent donuts with a Blue Raspberry Lemonade. I think it could've used a bit more sugar as funny as that may sound. I'm glad Bridgeport and CT as a whole has a cool desert shop available like this because I anticipate coming back many times.

Everything is pink, super aesthetic, very boutique bakery vibes with florals everywhere and it just feels really intentional and pretty the second you walk in. I need to go back ASAP and grab like 3 more because I'm still thinking about it. Perfect flavors and texture. Tested just like a sweet potato pie and the crust was impeccable. I was also told the strawberry shortcake cupcake is one of their most popular items and I can 100% see why. The whipped cream center was such a light fresh surprise and the whole cupcake really did taste like actual strawberry shortcake, not just "inspired by it." Not to mention, right next-door their event space is fantastic and I have had the pleasure of taking part in a lovely intimate gathering there before. My most recent visit, I came in just to get the famous sweet potato cookies and was grateful that they were not sold out! While there, of course, I spotted the beautiful and delectable cupcakes in the pastry case; I simply could not resist and somehow ended up adding five of those to my order. Then a fellow customer came in excited about getting her hands on the jerk chicken biscuit. I said, "Wait, what is that?!"After she explained it to me, I told the owner that she might as well add one to my order as well because now I have to try it. From savory to sweet, everything was incredibly delicious and now I'm finding myself craving this jerk chicken biscuit, which comes with an amazing mango slaw. By the way, giving me one more reason to NEED to make this a regular spot on my commute home. The owner is a sweetheart, the staff is welcoming and helpful, and of course the baked goods and menu items are amazing! The alfajores came in three sizes, something I did not realize when ordering. I would not repeat my order of the large size, the ratio of cookie to filling being off. The medium looked about right. The best item was a chocolate filled pastry, similar to a croissant that I had the next day. Flaky and light, it revealed some skill in the baking.
