There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the mistake, and no attempt to take responsibility. Instead, we were seated at a table near the kitchen without any explanation or courtesy. The front desk staff member's attitude was unprofessional and dismissive. In hospitality, basic respect and accountability are expected. A simple apology would have gone a long way, but none was offered. The food was average at best. The only positive part of the evening was the gentleman who served us -- he was professional, attentive, and courteous. His service stood in sharp contrast to the unacceptable front desk experience. This was meant to be part of our Valentine's Day Eve celebration, and the mishandling of the reservation completely undermined the experience. For a dinner costing over $100, this level of service is unacceptable. Very disappointing experience.
