The service was just okay and the music too loud for my liking, making it perhaps not ideal for families with children. It was very busy and not necessarily spacious. However, the food is transcendent. Everything that we tried was outstanding, even the chicken nachos and quesadilla. They season and cook everything properly. The beef tacos were fresh and tasty and the quesabirria tacos were even better. Great flavor and balance. What takes this restaurant to an elite level is the mole. It is exquisite and a rare find.

When I looked 20 minutes after at my credit card statement read I had been charged $77 and change pending a potential tip on top of that, even with tip included it is still over approximately $7 what I signed off for. We called to determine the prices of each individual meal and "the manager" was stumbling to tell us the prices for everything. Even with the fake numbers that were given to us it still didn't add up correctly. I remember the prices for the 3 meals my family and I ordered and I remember what the check said. I let it be because maybe they need more than I do. As for the food, I'm born and raised on the border of Mexico and although I must say it does scream authenticity especially on appearance the meat is bland, and that "Mexican rice" is by far the worst tasting rice I've had. For a casual person that likes Mexican food you may like it, but if you know what you're tasting you will not. Also, they didn't have 4 different things on the menu available ultimately leading me to have to go with my 5th option. It is very expensive for what it is, and even more expensive when your waitress manipulates the system.

I am gluten free so the fact that they make their own corn corn tortillas is amazing and about 90% of the menu is gluten free. I do have a nut allergy so there were a few items I couldn't have but still lots of options. The server recommend doing family style so we got a few things to share. We really enjoyed the short rib tacos and Verde chicken enchiladas. They were both outstanding. But the best part of the meal was the watermelon margaritas, holy moly so good! I highly recommend this place and its a cute little area to walk around and explore after.

This was my first time coming to the restaurant although it has been here for a few years. It is very nicely decorated and has a Mexican beach club aesthetic. The staff were very friendly but they seemed to be a bit overwhelmed with the size of our party despite us having made a reservation many months in advance. We were here for a work function on a Saturday brunch and at the time of our arrival and throughout most of our meal, the restaurant did not have many other guests. Toward the end of our meal however, people started to come and the restaurant was more busy. I will say it was a bit difficult to get the server's attention and in turn also a bit difficult to get the things we were asking for. Although everyone was very kind and patient, the service was extremely slow.. I'm not sure if they were having issues making as many meals at one time or if they were short staffed, but it was a very long wait for anything we ordered/asked for. Sadly, I was not impressed by the food either. The only thing I would recommend and come back for are the churros. I probably won't return to the restaurant and would not recommend it as there are other tasty Mexican options nearby that are probably more affordable.

The music selection is fire though and I was jamming out the whole time while waiting for my food. I complimented them on the music selection and they mentioned the owner is dominican and puerto rican which explained the great music selection. I was helped out by Adrian and his service was helpful in finding what dishes to order. I took my food to go and it was piping hot, definitely made fresh to order which I enjoyed. The nachos were what I was most eager to try as they are all the rage on social media. They lived up to the hype and that nacho cheese is absolute gold. I love that it's served in a pizza box. It just makes it iconic. It travels well and everything was still hot when I got home. The Al Pastor taco was just okay, nothing to write home about but now the steak burrito was really really good. I love that they don't have rice in their burritos and instead replace it with potatoes, which is absolutely delicious. They give two different types of salsas with your order plus limes and the green salsa is unreal. Add it to everything for a flavor boost! All in all this place is fire and if you're craving nachos, this is definitely the place you should come to get your fix!
