First Time Here The service and food were great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If the weather is nice the patio or the interior near the windows is great for people watching and to see the beautiful trees.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Pizza was delicious. Bread basket is always comforting. Calamari, plenty to share. Linguini with clams was great.

Would definitely recommend Bottega, this was on my list of places to go before visiting Vail and I'm so happy it was. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We stopped by for lunch, the weather was great to sit on the patio and covered with umbrellas.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The waitress was great and very on top of anything we needed. The food was delish, I had the grilled chicken panini and it was amazing. My husband had the Cubano Italiano and loved it. The Pastrami was not good.

    La Bottega

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great Atmosphere, Great Service , Good Food but a little too strong on the garlic... Whoa![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We love La Bottega and it's one of our favorite restaurants in Vail. They have been open for many years and that speaks to the quality of the food, service and management. It's Vail, so it's not cheap but overall the food is delicious. We ordered the arrabiata pasta with chicken, the gnocchi and pasta primavera with salmon. We also ordered the bruschetta. Our waitress was amazing, and the service was impeccable. Overall the food and wine were delicious. However the dishes and even the bruschetta were plagued with an over abundance of garlic. The garlic was in fact so strong that it's still noticeable the next morning. NOT COOL...and quite gross. I appreciate when Garlic is used delicately to gently add flavor to a dish.... But Not to have so much added that it burns your lips and smells strongly the next morning...that's a sloppy move on the chef's part.... Fix the garlic issue and it's a perfect 5 star Restaraunt, everything else is amazing, but for now, until the garlic situation is under control, it's just too much to handle.......

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very nice atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waitress was phenomenal. The food was amazing. We've been coming here for many many years and it is so good.

Loved our girls night out at La Bottega. I will say it was super crowded though especially at the entry way which was difficult when we were waiting to be seated. For a starter I ordered the special four cheese soup then for my entree I ordered the linguine with clams and loved it! I would definitely come back here.

V for Vendetta's or "Very Lacking"?…read more I went ahead and placed a reservation for 6:30 and showed up a little early but still had to wait ten minutes for a table. There was a vacant one outside in a nice spot, yet I was told that it was meant to accommodate a bigger party. I was with four others, and the table looked like a five-seater, so it was left empty for an hour, for no clear reason. The hostess came over to pour some water and spilled the pitcher all over the table without a word, which also got all over someone in our party's phone. Even though it took her a minute to go grab a rag and wipe everything up, an apology wouldn't seem entirely out of line. And then after ordering our meals, we waited... And waited... And waited... And waited... And waited some more... And kept waiting... And after an hour we finally got one pizza and a single bolognese dish, which arrived cold and with a sauce reminiscent of Chef Boyardee's. I knew they were busy, but this entire evening was just one disappointment after another. I'd give it half a star more just because of how wonderful their outdoor seating area is and the memories that I've had coming here in the past, but what a drastic decrease in quality and service. C'mon, Vendetta's, I know you have it in you to do better than this, but for now, I have to say that I have a vendetta against you!

Our experience began with a blackberry margarita and a glass of Amorone. After some debate we decided upon the calamari to start. I requested and received some light aoli which along with the tomato based sauce (too delicious to be called simply marinara) were perfect compliments to the squid. This was followed by the rocket salad crowned with a dollop of sorbet which is amazing. Lastly, we shared a delicious lasagna which brought together meat and vegetables in perfect combination with the house made noodles. I can't wait for my next visit to Fattoria.

A couple ahead of us arrived over 30 minutes early for their reservation and the staff were gracious and quickly took care of them. The vibe here is gorgeous and high end, while also managing to be comfortable and inviting. Our waiter was amazing and helped us with some recommendations and a lovely wine. I treated myself with their lasagna and oh my word, was it so very worth it. It was rich and creamy, and layered with all the meaty goodness and I will be dreaming about this lasagna for weeks to come! The pesto and zucchini was such a yummy surprise. Seriously, it was phenomenal. I should rewind a smidge and tell you about the appetizer we loved as well. We choose the Carpaccio and again, another home run. This was such a lovely night. The waitstaff were wonderful and had the family feel that comes to mind when you think Italian. We will return for sure. If only we lived in Avon!

They have the cutest spritz window experience on the 3rd floor of the Four Seasons. It was such a fun, different way to kick off the night! Price: Around $18 per drink. With a tip, you're looking at about $20-$25. My opinion going out to get a drink is expensive but it's Vail! If you go to Vail you know things will cost more. I personally think it was worth it and would come back. Customer Service: The service was great! You just ring the bell at the window and someone comes to help you pretty quickly. They were very kind and efficient. Atmosphere: It's very relaxing. We sat outside in their outdoor patio area which had a fire pit and seating. It was the perfect spot to just sit, talk, and get to catch up with each other. Drinks: I got the Barca Spritz, which is a blood orange flavor. It was refreshing and cute. My friend got the Limoncello Spritz, which she really enjoyed. Overall Experience: This was such a fun hidden gem moment for our girls night. I would definitely go back just for the drinks and the outdoor patio fire! Pro Tip: A huge bonus for this location is the parking! You can park for free after 3 PM at a nearby lot the S. Frontage Rd. We're staying at the Grand Hyatt, which has been... fine. Meh, if we're being honest. A local recommended Mountain Standard, so we tried to make a reservation on OpenTable and quickly learned they were booked solid until tomorrow (a great data point, btw). But, being the swarthy pirates that we are, we showed up anyway; and thank sweet baby Jesus, we found two seats at the bar. Our barkeep, Gummow, a fellow swarthy pirate, was excellent in every possible way. His bar back, Rowan, could not have been a better support man. Together, they delivered the kind of service that makes you remember why hospitality is an art form. And the food? Absolutely to die for. My girlfriend had the oxtail, and I had the mock paella. Both were incredible. The service, the food, the environment; every facet was dialed in. We will be going back tomorrow for lunch, possibly dinner, and possibly to inquire about monthly rent.
