    a fish and chips meal

This food is awful, most of the fish is not fully cooked, and it smells like raw fish The cheese cake is so small it's not worth the price we paid for it The chicken salad has very minimal chicken on it and the lettuce is going bad I'm really sick and tired of the service we get down here every time we try some food down here it's awful and we can't get our money back It's a SAME!!

Southern Spin Kitchen - Fried chicken and waffle sliders

    Southern Spin Kitchen

From…read moreRichmond Hwy, made a right onto Colonial St as the gps guided me but where the location is pinned, it doesn't exist. So I continue on Colonial St, see a big parking garage that reads Rose Gaming Resort, went up the ramp and parked. I went into the elevator, took a guess and push down to the 1st floor. Well there it was .. the food court with multiple restaurants inside the resort in which didn't stated beforehand. In the lobby, there's 6 establishments on the 1st floor such as Crab Tastic, R' Burger, Mama Mia's Italian Kitchen, Southern Spin Kitchen, The Bar and Corner Store. But you have to check the listings as they do not open on the same days and hours. During Mondays-Wednesdays, you have to place your order at the Corner Store for Southern Spin Kitchen and R' Burger. There were 3 items: 1) Chicken and Waffle Sliders 2) Fried Chicken 3) Peach Cobbler. The sliders were unique, waffles were fluffy and chicken were crispy. You get 3 portions served with crispy fries and slaw but never received the slaw but everything was delicious. The fried chicken platter is served with two sides of choice (collard greens and mac n' cheese). Be careful with the first bite as the fried chicken is piping hot. The two sides are were delicious but the collard greens were too sweet for me. The peach cobbler was supposed to be à la mode in which the kitchen staff of SSK informed they ran out of ice cream. As I return to the cashier named Tasia F, I informed her of what SSK staff told me about the ice cream. With the assistance of another cashier named Allie, I was informed that cashier Tasia F went searching through other kitchens within the resort to see if ice cream was in stock. Unfortunately there wasn't any ice cream available which was okay. I wasn't expecting anything because I understand if supplies were short. But I had excellent service with these two cashiers who were friendly, genuine, knowledgeable and beyond customer service. I would make future visit to try other items on their menu as well as other establishments

We had to place our order at another counter (minimal staffing at all restaurants in the food court). The rotisserie chicken was pretty good, collard greens and baked beans are prepared with pork (fyi). Substitutions for chicken pieces are not allowed. My husband had the smothered pork chops which he really enjoyed. His only complaint was there wasn't as much gravy as he would've liked on the pork chop but instead was covered in a lot of mushrooms. We would definitely visit again!

It's also connected to winestyles. The menu is Italian in nature with some Greek flare like gyros meats and flaming cheese. During my last visit we ordered a garlic lemon butter sauce with Salmon. It was very delicious. Our little, who was starving and begged to come to see the flaming cheese ordered well the saganaki and buttered pasta. She wanted steamed broccoli, but Giorgio's has seasonal veggies and rotates which ones they have so no veggies for her this day. It was very nice coming for lunch and our server was very sweet interacting with our little. I do think the prices here are high for this area and I would be more inclined to visit more frequently if prices were more affordable. So for us this is a occasional visit restaurant.

First the positives: I ordered the Gyro with fries and really enjoyed it. Not the best Gyro I have ever had, but good. The other three members of my family ordered different chicken dishes and all three were bad. Overall they were very bland. Using a little seasoning during cooking goes a long way. The chicken on the dishes seemed boiled. I guess this is an easy way to get tender chicken, but man does it remove the flavor! My wife's chicken had tendon and grizzle through out. My daughter's Marsala was gross. Seemed to be a Jared gravy. The wait staff really should not be wearing jeans, especially since the dining room seems nice (except for the paper table cloths.). One of the waitresses had ugly tattoos which no one wants to see at a nice place like this. It's a shame. This place has potential, but the food and wait staff drag it down HARD.

As a senior army officer, I value professionalism, discipline, and mutual respect--qualities I unfortunately found entirely lacking in the service provided by my waitress. During my visit, I was subjected to a series of unprofessional behaviors that were both disrespectful and disruptive to the dining environment: Aggressive Mannerisms: The waitress repeatedly slammed dishes and glassware down on my table with unnecessary force. Lack of Discretion: When presenting the check, she loudly yelled out the total amount of the bill in front of other patrons, which was highly inappropriate and unprofessional. Disparate Treatment: I observed her treating other parties with a level of courtesy and attentiveness that was pointedly withheld from me. General Demeanor: Her overall attitude was dismissive and overtly rude throughout the meal. For identification purposes, the server was a female of minority descent, approximately 5 feet tall with a heavy-set build. I have long respected Tun Tavern for its historical significance and its ties to military tradition. However, the treatment I received was inconsistent with the standards of hospitality one would expect from your establishment. I believe it is important for management to be aware of this incident so that it can be addressed through proper training or disciplinary measures. I and my wife chosed to go eat at your establishment, especially with my family service to the United States Marine Corpss (three cousins; retired CSM, SSG (decesased) and enlisted (obligatged tour of duty). I even emailed to museum coordinator and the post. No reply. I seems those especially those people in the Tavern restaurant chose not to show customer service and the mannerisms are were poor among their staff especially the waitress along with the management ignoring the customers. And the Marines want one (Tun Tavern) again in Philadelphia.

Yesterday morning we ordered Huevos Rancheros. They were ok but the menu said they would be served on black beans yet we're served on refried beans. This morning 2 of us ordered Low-carb Southwest Style. One in our group ordered the All-American Skillet. It was HUGE if you love potatoes and are very hungry, try it. It was good. Our Southwest Style was alright. There is an IHOP across the parking lot. Come her rather than IHOP but there is also. CFA across the parking lot. Coffee is better here. The food is okay here so far. The fantastic service from the one and only server holds up the three star rating on giving Quantico Bar & Grill as well as the fact that the server/bar tender last night was great. This morning they split one of the orders between 2 people beautifully. Last night we ordered Hummus as an appetizer. It was good. Soup of the day was shrimp & vegetable. Good too. We all ordered Pan Roasted Salmon for supper. Suprisingly good. Served with braised lentlils and steamed veggies. Everything at dinner rated almost a 4. The food at breakfast has rated around a 3... almost. Good coffee. Redundant? :) Honestly the 2 best things so far have been the fresh fruit cup at breakfast and the Ice cream and berries in the evenings for dessert. The Ice cream and berries were perfect! My mother said "This place is better than average even though our eggs weren't very good. The poached eggs were over cooked and sweet like they were cooked in Orange juice and the times that you get poached eggs prefect are like 1 in 10 anywhere. Second dinner here, Mediterranean salad was missing key ingredients of artichokes and roasted veggies. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, with plenty of space for our group to gather and celebrate. I ordered the wet burrito carne asada with queso on top. The portion was generous and the presentation inviting, but the burrito wasn't served as hot as I would have preferred. The carne asada leaned a bit overcooked, which took away from the tenderness I was hoping for. That said, the queso added a creamy richness that helped balance things out, and overall the flavors were enjoyable. Service was friendly and attentive, which made coordinating a group meal easy. Prices are fair for the portion sizes, and the restaurant's relaxed vibe made it a comfortable setting for our luncheon. Verdict: While the burrito could have been hotter and the meat more tender, El Paso delivered a satisfying meal and a welcoming environment for our celebration.
