I never heard of this place until my wife's family has mentioned it to me. It's in the same shopping center as Safeway, Golden House and across from Wendy's on the corner Minnieville Rd and Dale Blvd. As you drive into the Cheshire Station Plaza, the restaurant is immediately on the left. If you blink you will miss it due to the small lettering of the restaurant name above the building even though it's lit up. I am ordered 2 platters: 1) 1/4 chicken 2) Lamb Gyro. There were so many sides to choose from but I got the yucca fries and fried plantains with the 1/4 chicken. The lamb gyro was generous portion filled with veggies feta cheese and served with mashed potatoes and fried plantains. Both proteins were so juicy, tender and delicious. The restaurant was clean, plenty of seats but I took my to go. The cashier who took my order was Melani, she was friendly and knowledgeable. WOW this place is incredible! this is my first time in. I ordered at the counter not realizing that meant I was getting my food to-go. I didn't realize that it's a full-service restaurant if you eat inside, but the ladies were understanding and let me eat my to go food at a table. The chicken had a beautifully crispy skin and the meat was super tender and juicy. The ribs were tender and came off the bone easy and the bbq sauce on it was really nice. Me and my family went that way to go to petco and as soon as I stepped out the car I smelled this food! I told my husband we had to try it and he agreed and I insisted it just be dinner. The smell again is just mouth watering and the chicken was amazing. Mashed potatoes are whipped perfectly, we got the yellow rice that was great, and I got coleslaw. I did order corn elote and it was forgotten but they were working on my order super fast and I didn't double check even with the sign saying make sure. (My baby was crying in the car my husband said so I kinda just figured let's get outta here as I knew she was hungry) Regardless of that, they still get a 5 star and I'll make sure I check next round. I won't be mad if it was a reguly soda but they gave me RED KOLA. Damn I can't take any sugar and asked if it was okay to give me just only 2 diet soda. They said NO even the menu clearly stated 4 sodas. They wanted to over charge you for plantains and they didn't give you 4 sodas. I saw plenty of can sodas in the cooler and it's a rip off. Ordered from here because I heard good things about their lomo saltado. I got two orders of lomo unfortunately the meat was tough. The flavor of the lomo was delicious but it ruined the meal with the dry tough meat. We also got of chicken wrap and chicken sandwich and it was just not good. The chaufa rice was okay. I had high expectations for Kikiriki but honestly I got disappointed. The food was just mediocre nothing amazing. The steak I had was way over cooked and had absolutely no flavor. I tried to add salt but it still was dry. As for the sides , they were fine. The rice is just rice and the plantains are just plantains. I ordered over the phone two whole chickens when I went to pick it up it was $40 and the super family meal was $42 dollars with four sides and a liter soda the old gray haired man refused to change my order and said I'm getting what I ordered when I had not paid yet to change the order. He didn't speak a work of English either had to get one one my colleagues that speaks Spanish to get involved. they Are less than 3 miles away from place of delivery. I ordered a Peruvian pulled chicken sub. She and I repeated it twice. I had just left Physical Therapy next door so didn't pay attention when I paid $22. When I got to my car I looked at my receipt she charged me for a whole chicken! When I went back in she pointed to a sign that said check your order before you leave. I told her that I repeatedly told her the chicken sandwich. She asked me "pulled" and I said "yes". I have an stomach disease and can barely fit a 1/4 cup of food in my stomach without vomiting What the hell am I going to do with a whole chicken? I feel like she did it on purpose or they only expect Spanish speakers to dine there. I will never be back. I will stick with Ricky's Chicken. The service here was friendly - with a smile. Their menu prices were amazing, very inexpensive! I got a half chicken with beans and yuca. The yuca overall was nice, but some pieces were dense and tough to chew. The beans were flavorless, I had to use an entire cup of green sauce to spike them up a little. The chicken had potential, meaning that some pieces had the charcoal and spice flavoring I wanted, but much of it didn't. Also, the wing was so well-done that it was inedible. The spice mixture used for the chicken was nice, too bad there wasn't more of it on the chicken. The green sauce was amazing and definitely nice and spicy! When it comes to the dining room, this was more of a place to sit, very little to no decoration, a couple of TVs playing Spanish dance hits, but it simply wasn't very clean, warm and inviting. The skin of the chicken is good but once you eat their chicken it taste very dry. Their sides are really great but what's the point of great sides and a dry chicken.
