Let's start by saying this place has been one of my favorite places to grab a quick bite and some comfort food for me and it's only fair that I give them a good review but a great one! Food: the menu is available all day so you can have breakfast for lunch or dinner and the other way around with that said you can choose any combination of these and it is always prepared fresh and served hot; my family's favorite is the pupusas and they always maintain their flavor and quality. service: the staff is always offering you a great warm smile, very kind and attentive, and like I previously said been going there for years so some of the crew has become familiar and it is always consistent delivering to a very high standard and quality service. ambiance: the place is always kept in great shape and very clean through the years I have never been disappointed by it and that is why I keep on coming back as of my last visit and will say that I'll keep on coming here for many more. ps. to the crew keep up the great work and I'll see you next time. read more

Food wasn't good. Tried the carne asada and the meat was so tough. Had their sopa de res and the broth tasted like the can beef soup and they just added the vegetables and throw in the meat and called it a day. I wouldn't recommend this place. But the people that works there were all nice. read more

entramos a las 8:30 a hacer una orden para llevar y el local dice que cierra a las 9 , los empleados adentro dijeron que todo ya estaba apagado y que no vendían más. deberían poner que cierran a las 8:30. read more

Friendly staff. The table area had no clean tables available and food under all the tables. Not sure if they are under staffed. Food wait was long and I did not like my food it tasted like jar gravy for my lomo saltaldo and had way to many fries. read more

My husband and I visited this place after our trip to the consulado of El Salvador. I ordered the Salvatruco and I was pleasantly surprised. The pupusas were very well flavored and the curtido was perfect(how it should be, not spicy or anything like that). The platanos con crema was delicious and the casamiento could use a little bit more flavor. My husband ordered una sopa de mondogo and he said that it was 10 out of 10. As for the service, it took a bit for us to get our food. But besides that everything was good and we would come back again. read more

Went here for dinner, order the carne asada which come with yellow rice, salad, black beans and warm delicious tortilla. The food is made to order which took about 15 minutes and it was delicious especially the meat which I order plenty of flavor and taste. The yellow rice was warm and salad consist of lettuce, avocado, please to order dressing. The bean was hot and tortilla warm and delicious like a South American plate should be. I will definitely come back to order a different meal. Restaurant has plenty of parking although is in busy plaza. read more

La calidad de la comida antes era más rica, ahora la calidad no es nada buena. A demás, no se le siente sabor. Otra de mis observaciones es el tiempo que se tardan en llevar la comida a la mesa. El tiempo de espera es demasiado! read more

Great way to enjoy a Sunday breakfast. Staff here are very kind. We ordered soups, which took some time but we're excellent! Chupa de Cammarones was out of this world and quite filling. Next time I may try a more traditional breakfast offering but I couldn't pass this up. The Mrs loved her seafood soup, as well. Of course she never finishes, so I got to have that, as well. read more

Hello, you can call me back thank you :) read more

This place is great! The food is so delicious and specially because you feel like it's home made just like in El Salvador! The bathrooms in this place are so clean and smell clean! You don't find that in many places unfortunately. Def recommend this restaurant! read more

Bueno será porq soy peruana y puedo saber los gustos de los platos peruanos , y nada que ver con Doña Teresa , falta mucho para comparar un lomo saltado que sea Peruano y un pollo a la brasa , sorry pero solo le daré dos estrellas read more

It was good for a quick bite. It was a bit more pricey than I expected. I could have ate at Olive Garden. We ordered a steak and lomo. The steak came with beans and they were too salty. The lomo was alright also. read more

Nice and simple with a family-friendly atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised with how my breakfast turned out. I had a vegetable omelette with their signature Hispanic side dish. The side was a new experience for me but one I really enjoyed. read more

Love the food. Love the employees. They always have a good atmosphere and attitude. They are apart of my weekly diet now. lol.

Eh nothing great. Long wait for bland eggs and slightly mushy plantains. Rice and beans were solid. But the rest was just so so at best.

Choose the delivery option. Have to admit, this food was pretty pretty good! Food arrived hot and on-time! The flavor was out of this world! Will definitely give them a try again. Only thing they did not have that I really wanted was authentic enchiladas. I'll have to get those from a place in Alexandria now. read more

I wish I could give this place a 0 stars. Don't bother going there. We walked in to a pretty empty restaurant so we are thinking this is great we should get our food in no time. WRONG!!!!! We waited for over 45 minutes and no food. I decided to cancel my order even though the waitress kept assuring me the food was almost out. I mean come on!! I think we were way to patient to wait 45 minutes. Needles to say I don't plan on going back there ever again. #dissaponted read more

I moved to the area 3 months ago and found this place. We ordered here at least once a week. Food is great, tasty and they have variety. The only compaint is the wait is a bit excessive but is worth it! read more

I had gotten the beef soup andI found it to be a bit pricey. It was $14+ for the soup. I was going to consider other dishes. The place does get pretty busy but I think I will pass. read more

Came here with my friend today. The inside was different than any Hispanic restaurant I've been to in Woodbridge. We both ordered papusas, mine were 3 cheese & chicharron. Honestly they weren't that good & now 5 hours later I'm fighting for my life on the toilet. Don't get the papusas from here. I can't speak on anything else on the menu tho, just don't get the papusas read more

Don't bother calling ahead to order. Did so at 1200 and was told 15-20 minutes. Get there at 1230 and I'm not sure my order was even entered. Waited another 20 minutes for the food...50 minutes for six Papusas. They didn't even try to expedite the order. The food is great, but the customer service and wait times cancel that out. There are 20 different places in Hoodbridge to get Latin food. Forget this place....You don't need the headache. read more

Beans like water, steak and rice extremely dry. salad in same container with hot food.

I Love the Pupusas here! When I am in the area, I always stop- my treat! A few times, my order was not correct because of the language barrier. I don't speak Spanish. But love the foodie culture! I would recommend trying this restaurant! I have called ahead to pick up my order when I arrive, and have ordered from counter, the table servers are very helpful, and keep the tables clean for the next customer. I also enjoy the Christian music they play, but not the risque Spanish soap-opera's on the television. (Not all family friendly tv shows). The papusa's are always hot, taste fresh & great flavor! I wish the mixed cabbage & salsa had an option to come in a bowl or cup instead of baggies. Try the Papusas! read more

This place could literally be a stationary food truck. I loved the Christmas decorations and although I wasn't said hi to, I loved to see the owner lady go to almost all the tables to ensure that her food was just how she intended to be. When you do decide to give this restaurant a try, go in expecting the best pupusas in the area. I hear the entire menu is absolutely authentically prepared. I ordered 10 pupusas mixtas which normally should take about 10-15 minutes to get ready but mine took about 40 minutes! I made the mistake of stepping into the bathroom for no more than 2 minutes and missed it when they had called my name ;-). I politely waited, and waited until I mustered the courage to ask if my food would be ready soon. Although I wasn't satisfied with the wait, partly my fault, I expected that if the food was on the counter that the cashier would have made a second attempt at calling my name. I am definitely hooked! I'll be back. read more

Best place to eat authentic Spanish food a littles expensive but worth, it I'll eat everything on the menu, the place it's clean,my kids love there cucumber water The wait is moderate then again the food is made to order and fresh read more

Great place! They offer Salvadoran dishes, as well as Honduran, Mexican and Peruvian dishes. My husband loves their Sopa de Res! He always raves about how much meat it comes with and how all other places he's eaten at charge more for less tasty soups with barely any meat. I love the Pollo con Tajadas! They rub mustard on the chicken as part of their seasoning and then they fry it. I love the amazing flavor that adds to the fried chicken. Their portions are very generous and you definitely feel like you're getting a good deal for your money. My favorite thing about this restaurant is that, unlike all other Latino restaurants, they don't blast reggaeton music on your ears to the level that you can't even have a conversation while you're eating. Instead, they put soft christian music in Spanish and even if you're not religious, you will find that it makes quite a calm and enjoyable atmosphere. I highly recommend this place. read more

I visited the Woodbridge location to get the Tipico and the Salvatruco on a Monday morning at 8:30AM because the website said that there was a deal for $6.00 breakfast plates including the Tipico and the Salvatruco. I called ahead to place the order, but when I arrived to the restaurant, they told me that the deal does not happen on Monday anymore. This is false advertisement on their website... my total was $18 for the two when it should have been $12. Why is this falsely advertised on the Doña Terre website? Would recommend anyone planning to go here to try the Fredericksburg location instead. read more

My recommendation breakfast bowls only! I would say stay away from the chicken tacos or chicken Salvadorean sandwich. They leave little sharp pieces of bone in it, when you bite on them makes you feel lucky you didn't just swallow it -could easily puncture your stomach walls. I don't know who's idea is to leave bones in it but seriously they need to stop that before someone chock with them. read more

Did breakfast takeout. Everyone was happy with breakfast! The bowl was good. I liked the seasoning on the potatoes. The papusa was relish and I don't know how they did the banana- but it tastes like bananas foster. I could have had just that! The food took some time but it was busy that day. A coworker recommended this place to me, today was my first visit, but I don't think I would come back. The wait was tooooo long, the phone was non stop ringing which was very annoying, plus the food was just average. $1 pupusa on Wednesday was great deal but it didn't tasted good to me. Fantastic food and great service. I have traveled to Central America many times and love the food. Dona Tere is the finest example of authentic Latino cuisine in this area. It's actually too good for the price. Their lomo saltado is excellent and their pupusas are second to none. Everything is homemade and fresh. Give this place a try, you won't regret it. read more
