Great way to enjoy a Sunday breakfast. Staff here are very kind. We ordered soups, which took some time but we're excellent! Chupa de Cammarones was out of this world and quite filling. Next time I may try a more traditional breakfast offering but I couldn't pass this up. The Mrs loved her seafood soup, as well. Of course she never finishes, so I got to have that, as well.

Went here for dinner, order the carne asada which come with yellow rice, salad, black beans and warm delicious tortilla. The food is made to order which took about 15 minutes and it was delicious especially the meat which I order plenty of flavor and taste. The yellow rice was warm and salad consist of lettuce, avocado, please to order dressing. The bean was hot and tortilla warm and delicious like a South American plate should be. I will definitely come back to order a different meal. Restaurant has plenty of parking although is in busy plaza.

Wow. I've eaten here before and have had great food but tonight's not that great. The flavor for my chicken was delicious but it was deff sry. The slaw at the table tasted like dirty dish water. The pickled onions with my dish were delicious and my bfs steak was great.

This place is great! The food is so delicious and specially because you feel like it's home made just like in El Salvador! The bathrooms in this place are so clean and smell clean! You don't find that in many places unfortunately. Def recommend this restaurant!

Eh nothing great. Long wait for bland eggs and slightly mushy plantains. Rice and beans were solid. But the rest was just so so at best.

I will say this was a rare occurrence - eating in the restaurant (I was forced to go with the fam- let me hear it for my latinx peeps!) - but tbh, 1/1/21 started off cool & rainy & the meal made it *worth* it. There are not MANY people I know that truly enjoy tripe but I LOVE it & always have (cmon peopleee. let's get cultured ). If you want an authentic & healthy Latin American meal, this will do the trick. The soup packs a punch of full but soft flavors. I could have done with a LOT more tripe, though the beef bone was a PLUUUS. There are also a TONNNNN of veggies: cooked zucchini, corn, & big chucks of carrots & cabbage. Dish comes with rice on the side, as shown, & three corn tortillas. The zucchini & the carrots I could do without but I won't knock it for being healthy! Huge serving too, where I thought I wasnt gonna finish, but... I did. It comes with a lime on the side, which I don't usually to my ~sopas~ unless it's fish based, but it did the trick this time around.

That honestly should have been my sign to leave. I still ordered a baleada, and it was extremely disappointing. It was so greasy it felt like oil had been poured all over it. I couldn't even get through two bites. Save your time and money. This restaurant is not worth it.

The restaurant looks like a cozy hole-in-the-wall restaurant, so it was a very casual atmosphere. I ordered a Guatemalan-Style Chicken Tamal and a Chicken Pupusa with a Fruit Juice Drink (Ensalada de Fruta). The Fruit Juice Drink was full of cubed apples and was on the sweeter side, but it was refreshing for sure. Now onto the food... Guatemalan Chicken Tamal - This has to be one of the best tamals I have ever had! I am used to the Mexican tamales that are on the dryer side, but their tamal masa was gelatinous almost like a custard, and there were big pieces of chicken meat inside. And the plus side is that the chicken was 99% meat and 1% fat! They did not skimp on the meat in this one. Chicken Pupusa - I am used to greasy pupusas, but their pupusa was significantly less greasy, and that is a HUGE plus. Also, these pupusas were less than $5.00 each and came with a huge side of cabbage. The cheese-to-meat ratio inside was also pretty decent; I would say 60% cheese, 40% meat. My husband absolutely loved all the pupusas he ordered and even bought some to take home to our family. We were served by one of the owners who was very sweet and spoke to my husband in Spanish and me in English; this means a lot to me because in other places, I tend to be ignored while they speak Spanish to just my husband. When we are back in Virginia, this will be one of our go-to spots for Salvadorean food. We are used to pupusas being over $5, but these pupusas were less greasy AND much more affordable.

The meat options were also greatly appreciated by my friends who joined me at the restaurant. Ask for the in-house spicy salsa if you like a kick of spice. Definitely recommend visiting this restaurant when you're in the area.

I wasn't feeling up to the big chains and places I wanted to try seemed to close early. Luckily this place was open and I had been wanting to try it for a while. Definitely it let a hidden gem! There are some parking spots right in front, although not many. There is a decent amount of seating, but it would be tight if you had a large party. My partner did note that the bathrooms weren't that great. You immediately get served complementary chips and salsa. They were pretty basic, but not bad. We ordered the following: + Papusas (Pork and Cheese & Loroco and Cheese) - Decent, although I prefer the Loroco (an edible flower bud). + Pollo à la Primavera (chicken dish) - Yummy, especially the sauce which mixes well with their hot/spicy sauce too! I could do without the salad dressing. + Camarones con Calabeza (shrimp dish) - Same as above! Note they leave the tails on. + Natural Juices (Mango and Maranon) - So refreshing! I loved the Maranon (cashew apple) was a wonderful burst of tropical sweetness with a subtle nutty taste. I appreciate that for the pupusas they had the foresight to provide my partner and I two plates so we could sphere the papusas. The portion sizes of the entrees were great for the price. It did take a while for the staff to swing by so that we could get boxes and the check. Note that credit cards and mobile pay are accepted. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back again to try more items on their menu.
