This is my go to whenever I come to Woodbridge. My friend raved about the chicken. So I had to try it. When you order your quarter, you get to pick white or dark. The highlight tonight was the rice. So sad I didn't know about this place until now!! Interesting concept, you order at the counter and they will bring you the food to the table. The person taking our order w as very kind, patient, and willing to explain things to us. We ended up getting the combo #3 , chicken tacos (3), and a margarita. Ok, so went here on a Friday for a quick lunch date! When you walk in, you can use the touch screen to order or you can walk up to the counter and order, whatever you prefer. They offer drinks, frozen or on the rocks ! The menu is displayed on screens for easy reading! You can also see the chickens on the rotisserie being cooked to perfection. I've been driving by this place for years and never even knew what it was. I stopped in and I am glad I did! I got the Asada quesadilla and yucca. Both were extremely delicious. The quesadilla was so cheesy and the Asada was cooked just right. The quesadilla was a little crisp and soft at the same time, it was perfectly cooked. It came with guac and a tiny bit of sour cream. The yucca was delicious as well perfectly fried and the green and white sauces are delicious. I went back the next week and got more yucca. It's nice you can download their app and order from there. I love this restaurant so I thought I would give this location a try. I walked in like hmmm this looks different. I continued to view the menu and thought this menu is different. The cashier Ceasar was so friendly and helpful. He let me sample items that I was thinking of getting. Which really helped. I ordered the Birria ramen that came with 2 tacos and a mango Margarita. It had a nice flavor just needed a little salt for me. The Margarita was so good! I had to ask the question and Ceasar was so helpful I wanted to know is this restaurant different then the Bethesda location. This was one of the better restaurants in the area that we ate at over the weekend, which after reading myu review below you will see that it was not that much better. We were excited to find a rotisserie chicken restaurant in an area with most take-out spots serving up Chinese food or burgers. We ordered take-out that included a half chicken with two sides and a drink. The chicken was flavorful but dry but the sauces covered up for that. The rice we got was also a bit dry - again the sauce helped. The best of the meal was the well-seasoned plantains. Pains me to share my last experience but here we go! Steak & Cheese 2/10 and I gave it a 2 because it was seasoned very well or I would've given it a 0/10. The attached pic says it all! VERY DISAPPOINTING! However that Mexican corn 10/10, 10/10, 10/10!!! I ate it so fast, couldn't get enough! So yummy! Everything else was typical, the chicken was fresh and good 8/10, chafa rice, underwhelming, 5/10. They offer a lot more options and I think they are doing too much, not able to have quality in everything consistently. I was in the Potomac area for Valentine's Day weekend and since this restaurant was right outside of the mall and I was craving Birria tacos and Mexican corn, I had to try it! Food took 20 minutes to come out after ordering via a kiosk which is optional. The complimentary water and sweet tea was a nice touch, the tea was actually fresh and tasted great! The birria tacos were really good but I didn't care for the extra melted cheese on top, I removed much of it. The chicken street tacos were good also with the Mexican rice! The shrimp taco consisted of 90% cabbage and there were only two tiny shrimps in the middle. I came in for lunch with my girlfriend and the vibes were really nice. We were able to either order on a kiosk but wanted to order at the counter since I wanted some recommendations. However off rip the prices were really high to me. For two people it came out to nearly $50. The food took a while to come out but conversations and music was nice. First off, the chicken tacos were amazing, along with the rice and beans. The carne asada tacos were somewhat decent, and I would skip the Al pastor tacos. Man I really hate that I have to write this review because since moving to VA last year - Guapo's has been our go to restaurant! Always on point. This time, idk what happen but they lost us as loyal customers. To make a long story short, my wife and both sons as well as myself have been recovering from food poisoning these past 2 days. I didn't want to post this review but we have a 21 month old son who has been hysterically crying from the pains that I couldn't imagine he was feeling that we were feeling as well. My wife woke up 4am to throw her guts up. My oldest son woke up vomitting. My onset of poisoning came late but between yesterday and this morning, idk man. This place broke my heart this week. Deliciousness - 3.5/5 Happiness - 5/5 This is a fun, authentic (saying this as someone who got to eat a lot of real South American stuff while living in AZ for 9 years!) and most of it was good. First off, make sure to get the chaufa rice while you are there. It comes as a side or an entree and I may do the full entree bowl next time. They did a great job of perfectly balancing the salt and oil in the dish along with generous chunks of mouthwatering chicken and veggies. I also really appreciated they had a lengua (cow tongue) taco - those are really hard to find on the east coast and are a real delicacy (trust me and try one!). I also got my son a beautiful looking sugar cookie sandwich with a caramel cream filling that he devoured. The entrees were a little lacking however. I got the charcoal cooked chicken and it was middle of the road. It was paired with a very nice hot sauce that packed a good punch of heat into the otherwise somewhat underseasoned chicken. My wife got huevos rancheros and while the sauce was really good, they overcooked the eggs to full fried (even a tad burnt). Typically we want a nice runny egg in our rancheros! I also got the fried plantains on the side and honestly couldn't finish them. Way overcooked, they ended up having only a hint of tang and no sweetness. There was more than enough good here to give this place more business, and the taco and rice in particular were great. The servers were VERY friendly and the price was absolutely right (you get a TON of food for very reasonable prices). I can't wait to explore their delicious looking alcohol menu when I return too. read more

The food is amazing not only do they give you great quantities but the chicken is delicious! So yummy with a smoked barbecue flavor. They also pack in rice and beans and fries along with garlic and hot sauce packets for each meal. We did take out and we will be back. The entire family loved this food.
