Good food, friendly staff. Happy to let me practice my not-too-good French so 5 stars for patience. Good wine selection. Perfect desserts!

It's cozy until the person next to us started vaping and covered herself and some of us in a vaping cloud. Ew! Otherwise it wouldn't even have been too bad. We were lucky to get a table right as we walked in because another group was leaving. Looks like people were in and out ordering from the counter too. When you're done, just go to the counter to pay. Easy! Service: 5 Food came quickly but ordering took some time because one of the waitress went on break, but the other one was friendly and spoke English. The latte took a while to come out and I was already mostly done with my croissant by the time it arrived. Food: 5 The croissant looks messy and is intended to be eaten with a knife and fork, but it was delicious! Portion was perfect. You might not see it, but there is ham all underneath so each bite has ham. The sauce and runny yolk makes the dish decadent. The top part of the croissant was served vertical and I had to move it to make it more "sandwich-like". Matcha latte doesn't taste sweet at all so if you're thinking it will taste like what you'd get at Starbucks, it won't! But this is how I prefer it. The cup was super full when it arrived!! It was our first meal in Paris and was happy to have gotten good food! If I had to choose again, I'd choose to go there again for our first Paris meal!

Kozy École Militaire - A Little Parisian Breakfast Gem!…read moreLet's talk about a cute little spot tucked away from the usual tourist hustle and bustle of Paris! Kozy École Militaire was an absolute delight! From the charming atmosphere to the amazing customer service and delicious food, everything about this little café was wonderful. Now, let's talk about that BRIOCHE BREAD! Easily an inch and a half to two inches thick, and absolutely DELICIOUS! Some of the best I've ever tasted! I had the avocado toast, my daughter-in-law enjoyed the veggie option, and my sister ordered the pancakes. Everything was fantastic! And the lattes and coffee? TO DIE FOR! What made this place even more special was its cozy, welcoming atmosphere and genuinely wonderful service. It's the kind of little café that makes you want to slow down, relax, and enjoy being in Paris. If you're visiting Paris, do yourself a favor and find Kozy École Militaire. It's worth stepping away from the typical tourist attractions! A wonderful little discovery that I would happily visit again!

Came to this plate back in early April (courtesy of my French teacher...thank you for introducing…read moreme to this place & yes I saw your review down below haha), the night before flying back home to LA. I've had some good crêpes while in France, but this place has to honestly be my favorite. When you order, make sure to try both the sweet & savory crêpes, as they're not equally the same. Something that I love is that you can take your time when eating, because only a few minutes after finishing my first crêpe did the waiter bring out my 2nd one, perfectly fresh & hot. On my 2nd visit nearly 2.5 months later, unfortunately I was under a tight schedule so I ordered them to go, and I only had to wait like 5-10 minutes after ordering, fast service & cooked to order! Had some leftover which I ended up eating on my flight out to Dallas the next day, & they were still good! This is a place that anyone should visit on their last night in Paris or if you want to buy a last minute crêpe before your flight home, and for sure I will be back...perhaps not just on my final night in Paris.
