Came back for return visit. Very sorry to say I was sadly disappointed. Ordered the Citrus Chicken and was very disappointed. It was dry and presentation was bad...just chicken on a plate. I've had this several times in the past and it was excellent. Not this trip. Also, I brought my friend here and it was her first time. She ordered the Margherita Pizza. It literally was dry as a board. It was horrible! I was embarrassed because I talked this place up before we dined there and it was a complete disappointment. Not sure if I'll be back. read more

Definitely a very lovely French cafe experience, I highly recommend this place if you're passing through Paris, especially if you're headed to the Arc de Triomphe, this is only a 10 minute walk from there. Below is everything we tried: 5/5 - Chicken with Lemon Sauce: very flavorful, comes with a lemon gravy sauce, white rice, and french fries. I believe it is the most popular main dish here. 4.5/5 - Mushroom Pizza: very fresh, nice thin crust, nice flavors with a good balance. 4/5 - Eggplant Parmesan: A large piece of eggplant covered in a generous helping of cheese. This Cafe kept popping up on my Yelp searches around where I'm staying for a month, so I finally decided to check it out after 2 weeks. Doh! I wish I had come here sooner. Unfortunately, I missed out on Happy Hour pricing because I came on a Saturday, but oh well, the drink pricing is reasonable for the location, and the Chardonnay I ordered was good. (As you can see, I pretty much knocked it back before my meal arrived) After much debate, I chose the mushroom pizza, because I need leftovers , and I was pleasantly surprised. The pizza is generous, the mushrooms flavorful, and the cheese stayed gooey even as the pizza cooled down. (Super important!) The crust was a perfect thickness: thin, but didn't get soggy. TBH, I have had crusts with better texture, but this one made up for it in every other way! Bonus: the music is pleasant and has a cool vibe. Other reviewers prop the chicken with lemon. Just around the corner from our hotel and it was raining, so we popped in here for dinner our first night in Paris. I had the escargot and the fried artichokes instead of a meal. Both were delicious! They were out of pizza for the day, even though it was only around 4:30/5:00. My husband and daughter both ordered the chicken cordon blue. They both enjoyed it. My friend and I would often walk by this place and we were so intrigued by the cute decor and the orange car out front. We decided to pop in for breakfast one morning, and loved it! We came on a weekday, so it was rather empty, but the thoughtful interior design made up for the lack of ambience when we went. They don't have the most extensive menu for breakfast, but I do love a good Croissant Sandwich, and I was debating between that and the Croque Monsieur. I came here with a friend on New Year's Eve 2020; we were planning on ringing in the new year at the Arc de Triomphe and this restaurant was a convenient location for us to grab some dinner beforehand. My friend was vegan before she moved to Paris and has since mostly settled on just being vegetarian due to difficulty of finding vegan options in France, but we noticed Fleurus Café's menu board had a vegan burger as one of its daily specials that day (as well as a vegan salad), so we decided to take advantage of that so she could be vegan 1 night in Paris. It was pretty empty when we arrived around 7:15 PM and we got our pick of tables, opting for one in the picturesque heated terrace (there were blankets in case it got colder). However, shortly after we were seated, the place filled up and it was a pretty busy evening for the restaurant, especially with all our fellow tourists. Our server was very friendly and efficient, and spoke English alright. Note that smoking is allowed on the terrace, so if that bothers you maybe get a table inside. The vegan burgers came with fries and were very convincingly "meaty." Since I'm not usually vegetarian or vegan, I could tell it wasn't meat, but my friend, who hasn't had meat in years, was originally very suspicious that she'd actually gotten a meat burger, and was only reassured once I took a bite and told her I could tell it wasn't meat. The portion was reasonable and filling. Although the burger was vegan, the server asked if we wanted cheese on it, which amused my vegan friend (she obviously went sans cheese, while I decided to get it). We had a very nice meal and the price of the burger was pretty reasonable for Paris and the quantity/quality of the food. We did enter the restaurant to use the bathrooms since we knew we'd be standing outside for the next few hours; there was a queue and there wasn't any toilet paper in the ladies' room, but I imagine the state of the bathroom is better when it's not as busy. read more

There are no less than four cafe's or brasseries on Kleber down from the Hotel Raphael, three on Fleurus' corner alone, all reasonably priced and tasty with excellent service. Fleurus is no exception. Avoid "Thai Salad" it isn't French or what you expect. Be sure to get a scoop of Bertillon icecream after your meal, the best in the world. read more

We stumbled upon this Cafe while walking back to our hotel from the Eiffel Tower. The bartender and staff were immediately warm and friendly. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic and the food and wine were delicious and well priced. This restaurant was seconds from our hotel. We enjoyed dinner there the last night and wished we had discovered it sooner. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. They even helped me with my limited French as I was trying to remember my high school learning of the language. The atmosphere was great and they were welcoming of my toddler son. I'm not sure what I love more about this place, the kind and accommodating owners, the food and drinks, or the relaxed and chill ambiance that this corner cafe has. As an American, I feel like I have stepped into a real Parisian cafe instead of a tourist trap, yet I feel welcome and comfortable. I visit this cafe every time my family and I are in town and always enjoy every occasion. We have been here every year for the last five at least once, and it is always consistently good. I loved going here after hitting some other corner restaurants that were not so impressive. When I saw the cocktails for 6 euros, I had the pina colada x2 in huge glasses- more like Big American ice tea glasses. We were really tired of getting tiny little coke bottles. The liquor drinks were well spiked. The food was tastey, my granddaughter chose a salad. They were very helpful trying to understand our English and though quite busy, very attentive. I'm learning go to the busy spot and get better food. Some locals appeared to be there and we all had a good laugh, when a girl next to us was suddenly surprised and yelled out- my granddaughter jumped and I then did. The group apologized but it all ended up pretty funny. I had planned to go back on our last afternoon - a Monday but they were closed. Anyway thank you for improving our food and drink attitude while in Paris. It had very pleasant vibes as the day cooled down and sitting out in the open with joyful people. Staying next door at a Hotel Kleber for the week, this was our "go to" for quick delicious food and nice atmosphere. Breakfast was flaky croissants and chewy baguette with jam and coffee. OUI! Late one night had a delicious chicken burger, excellent homemade sauce with horseradish. Fries are different, crispy and prolific. This Texas girl wanted a big beer after a few days of wine and kit.
