    Crepe de menthe

Excellent! Very friendly. All meals were delicious - we tried several lunch crepes and dessert crepes during a week long visit. Very hard to beat. The only negative was that they allow smoking in the restaurant and that detracted from one of the visits where several customers were smoking.

Pretty yummy crepes, we've eaten here twice. Can only speak to the sweet options- we've tried the Apple crepe, Nutella banana, and the honey almond. My husband adored the honey and crushed nuts and thought it was unique. I've eaten countless Nutella crepes on the streets of Paris and this one tasted fresh but not super memorable. Service was OK. Also thought the bathroom and tables weren't super clean.

Found this place by searching for gluten-free food within walking distance of our hotel. Man, we hit the jackpot. The buckwheat crepes were perfect for my father, who is gluten sensitive. The staff made us laugh and though we don't speak French, still understood our order and brought everything out quickly. The english menu was a lifesaver. We each did the 17 euro menu, which included one buckwheat crepe, one dessert crepe and a drink. This was plenty of food - one menu could easily be split between two people. Tried the Sweet cider at the recommendation of the owner and it matched well with our food. I would certainly return here again in the future.

First thing: The crêpes here are HUGE! We came here after a pretty hefty dinner for desert, and we were delightfully surprised by the portion sizes here. We came here very late (nearly 10pm), and the place was virtually empty. However, our server was very friendly and welcomed us warmly, providing recommendations on the menu with patience. We were not a bit disappointed by our food; everything was delicious made. A definite recommend for me for anyone looking for crêpes while visiting Paris!

l'Etoile d'Or is a cute cafe that was very close to our flat in Champs-Élysées and we really enjoyed it! A little grandpa type took care of us when we dined here and he was so helpful and friendly, loved him! They have one menu is French and one in English and we took one of each. I'm glad we did because in the English menu they called crepes "pancakes" - eek! Confusion. My friend and I ordered a chocolate crepe to share while my friends all ordered some coffee to have with our crepes. The crepe was 4.70 Euros - not too bad for a plain chocolat crepe! It was quite good, too. Chocolate smeared all over a perfectly cooked crepe. Yum! The location is kiddy corner from the extremely popular Yuppies Cafe - if you're looking for somewhere a bit more lowkey, this is the spot. It is located just a block from Arc de Triomphe so it's a bit more pricey than the norm.

Great food and service. The staff was attentive, and willing to overcome the language barrier. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the crepes; the combinations they selected were well thought out and balanced. Additionally, the onion soup was done right, i.e., there was just enough cheese on top. I would come back in the future.

One of our favorite crêpes of our trip.

Best crepe in Paris. The proprietors could not have been nicer to us! They welcomed us and work through the language barrier with smiles.

The spaghetti carbonara is a dream. The salted caramel crepe is absolutely a favorite of our family.

My favorite while in Paris!…read more After taking a walk from the tower, we (party of 3) ended up passing this restaurant. We stopped in to try a bite. Ill say the seating was tight even for such a small party. But well worth it. The food was beautifully fantastic. The crepes that were served (by choice) we hot and savory and if I could I might live off them. Will definitely be back when in Paris again.

ONE STAR DROP FOR POOR SERVICE. FOOD IS STILL SOLID 4 STARS!…read more Our initial experience was so memorable, we returned for a 2nd and final time before heading home to the U.S. We ordered the Paname, Bacon & Santiago galettes and only one of us ordered from specialty menu. The egg was perfectly cooked with the yolk perfectly runny. The ham reminded me of prosciutto, but not as salty and a bit thicker. Each galette was delicious and satisfying. We all shared the banana crepe (La Reunionnaise) for dessert. A satisfying ending to our meal. It was a bit busier on this visit and while we were seated promptly, it took a long time before we were able to order or receive any attention from our server--it appears that there was only 1 person handling all functions, other than cooking. The service was surprisingly different than our first experience. We saw a few guests leave due to lack of service however, we choose to stay because we wanted crepes for last dinner. The lack of service is the reason I had to drop a star despite our food tasting delicious.
