This is a cozy little creperie in St Germain des pres. The selection is diverse and the crepes are absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable. House wines are a deal. Staff are great. Make a reservation to ensure a table.

I had the smoked salmon with leeks and it did not disappoint! So delicious. I paired it with a kir royal champagne and it was a good combo! I forgot that my husband is not a fan of exotic cheeses, so he ended up not enjoying his because he did not like the cheese. However, he ordered the homemade cider they have in house and it was so good. We highly recommend The cider. Their service is super friendly as well.

Came here for lunch with my boyfriend at 1pm on a Friday. We did not have a reservation but were able to get seated right away because we were a small party. If you have a bigger party it might be good to make a reservation since you might have to wait a little. The place was very full, both indoors and outdoors but they do have extra seating in an underground level. We sat outside for the view of the street. Our servers were very attentive and efficient. They got all our orders in very fast and our food was ready quickly. We both got coffee that was really solid (I got an allongé which was strong and velvety but not bitter and my boyfriend got a cappuccino that came with a little bit of chocolate on top.) For food we got some savory and sweet crepes: Galette Piste: savory crepe made with buckwheat flour that came with cheese, mushrooms, chicken, egg, and sour cream. This was so amazing I cannot even begin to describe it. The cheese was super flavorful and the amount of it was just right. The chicken was tender and not dry at all. The mushrooms combination with the cool sour cream was reminiscent to me of a stroganoff/ or Russian chicken and mushroom blini. The galette itself was a little bit crispy but still moist and soft which was mind blowing to me as this is such a thin batter. Super filling and delicious. Quality was top notch! Galette Equilibriste: another savory buckwheat crepe. This came with chicken, cheese, tomatoes and pesto. My boyfriend really enjoyed this. It was very refreshing and also had a very perfect amount of cheese with juicy chicken. The pesto was subtle and had a nice aftertaste of olive oil. Very good and filling choice as well. Crepe Nez Rouge: this was a sweet crepe with raspberries, mascarpone, chocolate sauce, and chantilly cream. The combination of the rich and sweet chocolate with tart raspberries and cream was divine. Mascarpone was very subtle. Not too sweet and very delicious. Crepe with fromage blanc et confiture: plain crepe with some white cheese (feels a little bit like yogurt but very mild and without a tart flavor) and a jam of your choice. They have a bunch of different ones but we went with blueberry which was a little sweet and made us wish we had gotten something more tart/citrus like the lemon jam. Very good as well! On the simpler side if you like creamy things that are a little sweet but still feel healthy. Both sweet crepes had a really nice and spongy texture Loved this place! The ambiance was really casual and cute. The service was very friendly and the crepes were probably the best we had at any sit down place during our short stay in Paris. Prices are very reasonable too. Definitely come here if you find yourself in the area and are craving some delicious crepes.

Ive been here several times, its it a nice street, the salty crepes are really good, the dessert ones are as well. The service is NOT on point.. they are usually speeding you through or super slow snd forgetting you: There is no ambiance its a basic interior but gets the job done.

Crêpe vegeterienne

I got the vegetarian crepe, my friend got a crepe complet. Both sooooo good. I haven't had a better crepe in the 2 months I've been here. The pesto was delicious, the vegetables were perfectly seasoned. 10/10. However, our lunch was made all the more entertaining by a man and his girlfriend who sat right behind us. This man would not shut up, my sympathies to his poor girlfriend. He mansplained philosophy, constantly negged her about how much he likes history while she likes shopping, and would not stop commenting on budgeting and how much she was eating. If you see this Miss Girl, DUMP HIM, for the sake of yourself and everyone who is forced to listen to your one sided conversations

Delicious buckwheat crêpes

Outstanding crêperie, with both savory, crispy buckwheat crêpes and sweet dessert crêpes. Loved the cider you can order by the jug and drink out of cups, which pairs well with the crêpes. Service is welcoming, even if you don't speak French well.

Crepe with Maron cream

This crepe house was really good one, not very much touristic but gives enough options for us to choose dishes from many choices. This place has tables on ground floor and basement, but completely full. We (four people) waited 15 minutes and separated into two groups. 6+ people attempted to get in while we were waiting but they all gave up... So it's recommended to be ready to wait for 10-15 min at least. We had 1) gallet (buckwheat) with bacon, mushroom and eggs, 2) Crepe with maron cream in it, 3) Crepe with grilled almond and vanilla ice cream with home made chocolate. Taste of 1) gallet itself was very tasty (w/enough salty taste) and all ingredients were balanced and mixed with creamy white source. Good for small lunch (not filling that much as you know). 2) Maron cream crepe was good too, but it's rather very simple one. My kids had 3) crepe with almond and ice cream, they said it was yummy and enjoyed it a lot too. If you want to take a short coffee/lunch break before or after shopping in St. Germain area, this is the perfect place. You need to understand it's typical French shop so tables and chairs are packed in a small space so you cannot bring big backpacks there :-) Overall, we have enjoyed real crepe in a pretty small creperie. It's worthwhile to wait and try!

Savory Crepes

This creperie was super charming and the food and service were excellent. As an American dining in Paris with very little knowledge of the French language, you come to expect a disdain, BUT here we were treated wonderfully with menus in English. There were many different options that all sounded delicious. I highly recommend any American stop by this gem! Oh any get the seeet cider. ;)

With a name like La Crêpe Rit du Clown (supposedly means "the pancake laughing clown", or Crepe du Clown, at least that's what I remember), it's easy to assume that this place is a joke. Or perhaps the joke is on you. I dunno. The place had me wondering how bad crepes are where I live, because I liked the crepe I ordered here. It's like if you get used to eating tinny-tasting canned corn, suddenly fridge-tasting frozen corn is a treat. The other creperie was closed. I thought the crepe was a bit too sweet, but we were in the mood for crepes & coffee, & it was freezing outside (twas a rainy day en Paris). It was no Laduree (wow, really, I'm comparing this place to Laduree?). The crepes were nothing special, & the coffee was good European coffee, as expected (there wasn't a single cup of coffee that tasted bad, in the whole of Europe). It looked like a place for families/kids. Maybe it's like their humble version of the Rainforest Cafe. The people eating looked like locals - grandparents, grandkids. If you were part of a working class French family & your kid wanted some special dessert & you didn't want to spend too much, you'd bring him here. Because the boy, he will eat anything sweet. What I mean to say is that I enjoyed the crepe that I ordered, but I'm not sure I should have. Like instead of saying it was absolutely fantastic & recommending it straight to friends, I'm more like...."hmm". I can't remember what I ordered - it was either the Mont Blanc or the 1 with Chestnut Spread - but I think it was the latter. It was OK, & so was the price. The service was good, there was 1 server for the whole creperie. If it's raining en Paree, this is a good place to head straight to for a crepe & hot espresso, after spending a ton of money at the City-Pharma.

There may be more English speakers than locals, but at least it's a cute creperie that offers decent food at a reasonable price. The selections were not the fanciest, but the buckwheat crepes were perfectly executed. Highly recommend anyone to finish the meal with the lime sorbet with vodka. A real shot of vodka! The waitress was the friendly person I have met during my entire stay in Paris. She was even kind enough to let us use the landline since we were too cheap to turn on the roaming! I would not make a trip out here just for crepes, but certainly worth to stop by if you happen to run out of Pierre Hermes in the rain and need a warm cider and vodka ice cream.

Really cool design inside the restaurant. Friendly waitress, and the savory "acrobate" crepe was really good. No complaints.

A crape made with buckwheat is a Galette, and these were the best we had. Do yourself a favor and try the Galette Complete with ham and egg.

Normal crepes, we don't feel waitress friendly serving customers; also limited flavors to Crêpes, kind of disappointed.

This is a hard review because, on one hand the crepés were quite delicious--I ordered a chestnut…read morecream which I liked but was done with midway through and a butter and sugar which was fantastic and I could have ate many more--but it was the only place on my Paris trip that clearly ripped me off and didn't correct it when I questioned the server. I had ordered those two crepés, black tea, and a little milk for the tea. This should have only set me back about 20ish€ in total (the crepes were about 6-7€ and tea 5€). I was charged 37€. As I paid at the register I asked the server (in my halting French) "is it really 37€? That doesn't seem right." She shrugged and said, "Oui, 37€." While I didn't want to make a big deal out of it--nothing like being the raging American in a country not your own--I unhappily paid and chalked it up to an inevitability: every overseas trip it has had this happen once, where the language barrier seemed like an excuse to cheat. This was my one in Paris.

Pricey fresh hand made crepes!…read more Husband and I came here twice. First time for the chocolate gran marnier, another time for the Brazilian. Our crepe creator was very friendly and cool, I like how they kind of put on a show when they make them, our crepe was purposely light on fire. :D If you don't don't like the taste of alcohol, I don't recommend the Brazilian, the rum was strong!
