This is a hard review because, on one hand the crepés were quite delicious--I ordered a chestnut cream which I liked but was done with midway through and a butter and sugar which was fantastic and I could have ate many more--but it was the only place on my Paris trip that clearly ripped me off and didn't correct it when I questioned the server. I had ordered those two crepés, black tea, and a little milk for the tea. This should have only set me back about 20ish€ in total (the crepes were about 6-7€ and tea 5€). I was charged 37€. As I paid at the register I asked the server (in my halting French) "is it really 37€? That doesn't seem right." She shrugged and said, "Oui, 37€." While I didn't want to make a big deal out of it--nothing like being the raging American in a country not your own--I unhappily paid and chalked it up to an inevitability: every overseas trip it has had this happen once, where the language barrier seemed like an excuse to cheat. A nice crepe place along the main Street that has lots of tables and also a take out counter. Very friendly staff as well. They have a good sized selection of crepes ranging from sweet to savory (or salty). We had the caramel crepe and it was tasty but not crispy enough. Maybe that's just the way it is. Pricey fresh hand made crepes! Husband and I came here twice. First time for the chocolate gran marnier, another time for the Brazilian. Our crepe creator was very friendly and cool, I like how they kind of put on a show when they make them, our crepe was purposely light on fire. :D If you don't don't like the taste of alcohol, I don't recommend the Brazilian, the rum was strong! read more

This little cafe was closed when we walked past it early in the morning, but after a day of hiking around the Louvre and shopping, we wandered back and it was open! We had the salty caramel crepe, an egg and cheese crepe, and the Chef Special crepe, which was sausage and goat cheese and egg. I wasn't too impressed by the savoury crepes -- the goat cheese wasn't very well distributed through the crepe, and the sausage had a funny texture that I didn't want to think too much about. The sweet crepe was very good, and I wish we'd tried more of those instead. It was dinner-ish time though, and we felt a little compelled to eat more than just sweet crepes. The open design and view of the kitchen is a fine lure for folks walking by, but the rest of the ambiance is a little ... sterile? It has more of a '50s American diner vibe (minus the checked floors) than a Parisan crepe cafe. Our waitress didn't really speak English, but pointing at our selections on the menu and smiling and nodding seemed to work just fine. They give you little packaged wipes to clean up since the crepes are meant to be eaten by hand. A solid and inexpensive place for a crepe, but stick to the sweet ones. read more

I don't think that I'd call this a crêpe to be completely honest. On our first day in France, we came to this restaurant that was close to our hotel expecting it to be something else. In reality, what we got was a super greasy plate of kind of burnt food. After eating it I felt super queasy and my stomach was hurting till the next day. The prices are also a little higher than the other crêperies. You're better off going to Mouffetard market and getting a crêpe from there because this was just plain terrible. read more

This place is great! It was my last night in Paris, and I had (sadly) realized that I had not eaten a crepe yet. We had been out watching soccer and noted it was a little late but this place was still open. Once we found it, the people inside were great and happily told us to have a seat. They have a wide variety of options both sweet and savory, we ordered one of each (ham, egg and cheese) and (Grand Marnier, the one that comes with a little drink too). Both were very tasty! Both the savory and sweet crepes were very tasty, and we enjoyed a bottle of their cider as well. Service was super nice and friendly. I came here on my first night in Paris and had the best butter and sugar crepe I have ever had. So much butter! Perfectly crispy edges. I've had crepes before, and I really like them, but I have never had one this good. I came back at least five more times during my three day stay in Paris. There's an inside area and a walk up counter (which I didn't discover until trip #4). The inside reminds me of a 50s style ice cream parlor in America, but with crepes and cider instead of ice cream. The perk of the walk up counter is that the crepes are cheaper. Not sure what the price difference is across the board, but there was a 1 euro difference on the one I ordered. I don't think you can order cider at the walkup counter though. Definitely come here if you're in Paris, whether you're staying in the area or not. I tried 2 or 3 other crepe places, and this one was the clear winner. read more

It was a weird looking restaurant, it seemed to be Brazilian themed but was decorated like an American diner. But they only served crepes. I was originally on the search for a waffles and ice cream stop when I happened to stumble upon this creperie. One whiff and a glance at their dozens of crepe making hot plates and I couldn't resist. After working as a performer in Paris for more than a week I knew I had come across the place where I would purchase my first parisian crepe! The crepe's weren't too thick which I prefer- that way there was a balance between my crisp crepe and sweet indulgences! I ordered a Chocolate Grand Marnier Crepe and two of my friends ordered honey crepe and butter with sugar crepe.. we all couldn't keep our hands away from the butter and sugar crepe- it was by far the most addicting!!! The chocolate grand marnier was a rich one for sure but so rich that I wasn't able to get through the whole thing probably because the taste of the alcohol was a bit overpowering next time I would probably stick to the butter and sugar or put some nutella on that! My wife and I walked in here after having dinner around the corner our first night in Paris. We had no idea what it said on the menu but we know that the crepe making looked very good. We saw the gentleman in the back making crepes for someone else when we walked in and we noticed the mastery in his work period they had televisions on in the restaurant with the same man making crepes as a demonstration period we knew we were in for a treat. Lady behind the counter approach just with the smile. She instantly knew that we were absolutely lost. She then helped us pic to Great crepes and we were set. I ordered these salted caramel crepe and my wife ordered the chocolate coconut crepe. After we received our Cribs We devoured them and ordered another one period we ended up getting the butter crepe and it was perfect and it was perfect. It was actually our favourite one. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Paris period I would buy another ticket to fly to Paris just to go to this place. read more

These are our favorite crepes in Paris! We came here a few years ago and it's now one of the first stops every time we go to Paris. The owner takes such pride in his creations. He comes and visits every customer and gives it a personal touch, like he's welcoming you to his home. He is so happy each time and loves what he does - and it comes through in the crepes. We love both the savory and the sweet versions. If you don't want to sit down they also have a walk up counter to get one to go. Our favorite are the goat cheese "galettes" (savory), the sweet buerre sucre or the chcolat coco, but really you can't go wrong with any of them. Put this on your list. My father and I came here recently and I have to say I loved this place. I have been living in Paris for about 4 months now and in the first few weeks ate crepes all the time and wish I had found that place earlier. The crepes were incredible to the point where both of us had seconds. We also tried the home-made apple juice that the owner makes himself in another town in France. I'm not sure why this place is so highly rated. Crepes were below average. The staff spent more time playing on their phones than cooking or serving food. Our local crepe cafe back home has far better food. Restaurant is very loud music and seating is only high top tables that are not comfortable at all. Beware if you order a tea here - they charge 1 euro extra if you want milk with your tea! Ridiculous. Crepes are fairly good. The butter & sugar crepe is the best but get it takeaway for best value as eating it in is pricier. Salted caramel is ok but a bit too sweet (and quite expensive at 7 euros for what you get). The whole place seems a bit of a rip off with the extra charge for a splash of milk, extra charge for eating in. Shame as they do make good crepes. read more
