Egg and Ham Crepe
JJ C.

Atmosphere: Located near the Sainte Chapelle, Notre Dame, and Shakespeare and Company, Creperie Genia is a cozy creperie with seating upstairs overlooking a street of cafes and shops. There was even a nice cat taking a nap by the window sill! Service: As there was no line, we were served promptly and were able to find seating upstairs. Food: We ordered the egg and ham crepe and the strawberry and nutella crepe. The egg and ham crepe was on the drier side, and the ingredients seemed to be mediocre in quality (the ham came from a Tupperware). The strawberry and nutella crepe tasted like a generic sweet crepe. However, we appreciated the crepes not being too heavy or overly filled. Overall: We were drawn to Creperie Genia due to its positive reviews, but we weren't absolutely blown away by the taste of our crepes. Though the prices were low, we would rather look for another creperie with higher prices and better quality.

11.13.19 Friend's co-worker recommended this place. It's pretty cheap but I didn't think it was that good. Nice service and staffs though. We were actually the only customers there at that time. We went to sit down upstairs and had the whole place to our selves. :)

Not a huge fan of the crepes here but I am a fan of the price. This is one of the first places in Paris that it is cheaper to take away the crepe than to eat it there. I got the crepe with Nutella and strawberries, very simple. The crepe shell fell kind of flat for me and I've certainly had better. There are many creperies in Paris, so I would just keep looking! This is one of the places to go if you're in a rush or looking to save money.

Banana and Nutella crepe!

I come here for a crepe every time I visit Paris since the low price and good quality makes it a must try if you're visiting Notre Dame! Food/Drink: you can't go wrong with the banana Nutella crepe but their menu offers a variety of both sweet and savory crepes! Price: very cheap and affordable (around €3-4) for a decently sized crepe! Atmosphere: it definitely has a hole-in-the wall vibe with a seating area on the second floor. I can see many people coming to the lively Latin Quarter for a late night crepe! Tips: their most recent policy says that in order to have a seat, each person must order 1 item but I don't know how strict that is since we were able to sit down on a non-busy Thursday afternoon.

Egg, ham, cheese crepe was OK. Kind of plain. €4.2

Double hotdog- 3 euros- Pretty long hotdog served on a baguette, which was good and crunchy. Hotdog and mustard were tasty Ham, cheese, egg crepe- 4.2 euros - it was just okay, kinda plain and thin I'm sure the sweet crepes are good; we're just not fans of savory crepes Cash only. Gets pretty busy, but most people take it to go

Not far from Notre Dame Cathedral in a packed tourist spot. Crepes are good here. Ham and cheese and also the Nutella were pretty spot on. I'm not really into crepes though. I came because I was in the general area and randomly walked in, and also because I wanted to experience the novelty of having crepes while in France.

The crepes here are delicious and cheap. We got the Nutella + strawberry crepe and it was delicious. I saw him making a breakfast crepe with eggs, ham, and cheese - I will need to get that next time. They have an upstairs area to sit down and relax. They also have a calm cat that likes to sleep on the chair upstairs.

Man oh man was the ham and cheese crepe good. The crepe itself was crunchy and the cheese was caramelized out to the corners. Yum! However, the Nutella crepe wasn't crunchy which I was really disappointed about. At least the Nutella and almonds filling was tasty.

Hotdogs are huge and super cheap

Super cheap and super good. Came here because of yelp for the crepes (2 times). The 1st time we ordered just crepes about 6 or 7 euros and the 2nd time we were so hungry that we ordered hotdogs (au gratine double) and crepes the whole order cost $11.50 with waters. And the hotdogs were amazing!!! Best so far in paris!!  Great stop Tip: go inside if you want to sit down. Order down stairs and the will give you a number and call you when it's ready. Sit and enjoy

Had my first crepe. I chose a traditional sugar and cinnamon crepe and it was ok, nothing too special.

Their inexpensive, savory/sweet crepe combos hit the spot. Their upstairs eating area got us out of the rain.

This is a hard review because, on one hand the crepés were quite delicious--I ordered a chestnut…read morecream which I liked but was done with midway through and a butter and sugar which was fantastic and I could have ate many more--but it was the only place on my Paris trip that clearly ripped me off and didn't correct it when I questioned the server. I had ordered those two crepés, black tea, and a little milk for the tea. This should have only set me back about 20ish€ in total (the crepes were about 6-7€ and tea 5€). I was charged 37€. As I paid at the register I asked the server (in my halting French) "is it really 37€? That doesn't seem right." She shrugged and said, "Oui, 37€." While I didn't want to make a big deal out of it--nothing like being the raging American in a country not your own--I unhappily paid and chalked it up to an inevitability: every overseas trip it has had this happen once, where the language barrier seemed like an excuse to cheat. This was my one in Paris.

Pricey fresh hand made crepes!…read more Husband and I came here twice. First time for the chocolate gran marnier, another time for the Brazilian. Our crepe creator was very friendly and cool, I like how they kind of put on a show when they make them, our crepe was purposely light on fire. :D If you don't don't like the taste of alcohol, I don't recommend the Brazilian, the rum was strong!
