Recommend by a Parisian! There's lots of crepe spots close by but this is the best spot! They have savory and sweet! I recommend the chocolate crepe with whipped cream, it was so buttery and perfect! It is paired with a brut cider (it's dry, bubbly, not too sweet) which went well with the crepe! It's loud, busy, and full of energy!

The best crepes I've ever had. This is the 4th crepe I've had in Paris, and all of the previous ones have been mid. I never crave for crepes, but after coming here, I will. Tried a savory and sweet one. I HIGHLY recommend the maraîchère or any crepe with bacon. The lard brings so much flavor! Most importantly, they do not skimp on the filling!!! Every single bite was packed with spinach, cheese, and egg. There is usually a line but so worth the wait. Service is fast once inside. I will be back.

This is a long time favorite of ours. Josselin features a huge assortment of Brittan style crepes. My favorites are the bacon, egg, spinach and cream cheese and the Martinique which comes out Flambe. Upon arrival you will get in line there is almost always a line. It moves very fast so don't worry! When called you will be shoe horned into the smallest table and seating area you have seen. This seems to just add to the ambiance and charm of the place. I ordered the the bacon, egg, spinach and cream cheese first. I was a little reluctant to order the Martinique for desert fearing they might consider me an American pig however when the Frenchman who had the same crepe as I, ordered another for desert, I felt at ease and ordered mine. These Crepes are amazing and I place this on a "MUST VISIT" list if you go to Paris. For those of you on a tight budget this is your dream come true!!

I do not recommend this place at all. Probably the worst service I have ever received. Server was an older woman, who was not friendly, pleasant and clearly did not like Americans. She knew zero English, which I feel like you really need to try hard not to learn it, especially working at a restaurant that often has tourists coming through. She served several ppl who sat after us, while leaving us waiting. Food was ok, nothing special. We only got savory... she never came back to us, table next to us had sweet crepes and then after coffees... and they had sat 10 mins after us... so while we would of ordered more we were ignored.

Very busy crêperie despite being on the same street as many others so I wasn't surprised that it took a while before our server took our orders. But once we ordered, all the crepes came within 10 minutes. Lots of locals were in the restaurant so I think it's safe to say that it's not a tourist trap. Give it a try!

I say with total confidence, these will be the best crepes you ever eat. You'll love the old style building. The fabulous servers will charm you. If we get back to Montparnasse Josselin's will be the first stop.

One of the best crêperies in Paris because of the quaint atmosphere, great service, flavorful food, and tasty cider! It may get busy here during peak hours so prepare for a little wait. The whole street is full of crêperies but this is the one that's most commonly packed. You can't not try both a savory and sweet crêpe, so maybe come in a group so you can try multiple dishes with less guilt. Don't forget to wash it down with some cider on tap served in a cute little pitcher. This is a gem in Paris that everyone should check out!

My husband and I have decided when I return from my Paris trip it's time to start a diet. We have overindulged the last couple of years and getting a little thicker than we like. So for my last hurrah, I decided for dinner, I'd have traditional Breton crepes. It was difficult deciding which of the many creperies to stop at, there are so many on this little stretch of road. La Creperie de Josselin looked perfect, with its antiquated wooden facade, the perfect ambiance. I was warmly greeted as I was sat in the back corner. I went with the Jambon et Fromage on Buckwheat. I was served in no time. The crepe had the perfect crustiness and warm melty cheese. Of course I had a sweet cider to accompany it. Every bite was better than the one before. Since this was my last big meal, I had to have a dessert crepe. This was a tough decision as they all sounded wonderful. I went with one of the Specialties of the house, the Tartin. It did not disappoint. The stewed apples (think warm, cinnamon applesauce) buttery toffee, sandwiched in a traditional sweet crepe, topped with Chantilly cream was the best dessert I've had in a long time. A perfect ending to a perfect meal. It makes me want to rethink going on a diet. Get here early for dinner, as I left there was a long line waiting to get a table.

When in Paris, it's a must to enjoy some authentic French crepes. I stumbled upon this quaint restaurant in Montparnasse. When we arrived, the staff warmly greeted us and were seated right away. It was late in the afternoon so it wasn't too busy. The interior is small as with most eateries in the city. The staff speaks English so it was easy to place our order. They have tons of options from sweet to savory crepes. We opted for one nutella and one with stewed apple, walnuts and almonds. The crepes are paper thin and so delicious. I enjoyed my afternoon snack with a single shot of espresso. The prices are reasonable and this spot caters to tourists.

Quaint spot that prepares your food in minutes. They also have the menu in both English and french, which is nice. The portions are very big, so come hungry or you will not be able to finish your crepe. Staff is very friendly and I was able to just barely get by on my 5 words of french. You can tell the locals like this place too.

We started off with an egg ham and cheese crepe which wasn't amazing but wasn't bad. We wished it had different cheese. But the real game changer were our dessert crepes--chocolate and toffee. These were to die for! I think the toffee was better but we recommend both. The staff were also extremely friendly and everything we ordered was brought out straight from the kitchen. The coffee was really great too. We recommend the coffee cream. Definitely come here!!

Time after time we come to Paris, Josselin is a must visit. This was our third time in the last 7 years and nothing has changed. The buckwheat savory crepes are still to dream about and causes one to not eat any other crepe anywhere ever. The fillings always taste fresh and a good blend. The sweet pastries are just the right amount of filling to crepe. The servers are very pleasant. It was like returning to a neighborhood cafe. Don't bother stopping at any of the other 30 creperies in the neighborhood!

Arrived on the first Eurostar train across the channel and headed here for brunch after working up…read morean appetite walking around Paris. Traditional aka buckwheat savory crepes/galettes (gluten free) are available along with wheat sweet crepes. I started out with an emmenthal and ham galette which was hot, fresh and delicious. I went against my instincts which said order a cider to drink and didn't but instead ordered a hot chocolate (as it was such a cold day). The hot chocolate was a disappointment as it was not hot and was positively a chilly chocolate milk when I mixed it up to distribute the whipped cream. It was also quite tiny. I had a crepe Suzette for dessert which happily didn't disappoint. Ambiance was typical of a small French cafe with tiny romantic 2 table seats as you'd expect out on the sidewalk except inside due to the chilly weather. I'm not sure I'd go back to the place but I would definitely try one of the other similar offerings nearby.

Great day to be sitting outside eating crepes…read more What Ofcourse I had to get a savory and a sweet crepe (checking off the checklist). The ivory one, I got the veggies one and this was really good, very cheesy. The mushrooms are a bit on the raw side, but I guess that's just a me problem. I ate it and it was delicious. The sweet one I got an almond cream like one with chocolate, it was a good finish after the savory one. It is interesting that it is crepe but the crepe wrap was different and even wrapped different! I was satisfied. Environment Seems I was on crepe street! The restaurant was very cute, there were seats inside and also outside. Ofcourse I was outside on a good day! The table was on the smaller side but perfect. Niceness of the staff Super super nice staff, looking at these foreigners and asking me questions I was not prepared for. I ordered both the crepes and she asked me which I wanted both at the same time or one at a time. The also offered me coffee.. which it was too late but if you ask if I want espresso with my crepe, yes please. Dollar I thought they were priced decently, it was around 20 for the whole meal. Yes/no Yes! I would return and try the other items on the list!

There was just one couple and their baby in the restaurant. We asked the waitress for a table outside. The manager told her to tell us no. We agreed to stay inside. We were given a table right next to the couple when all the other tables in the restaurant were free. We were told that we had to be done in 30 min, whereas they were supposed to be open for another hour. My friends agreed to eat quickly. As we sat down I heard the manager telling the waitress in French to tell us to leave in 30 min. He told her one more time. We just sat down. They haven't taken our orders yet but the instructions were to get us out in 30 minutes. I stood up and told the manager that if he doesn't want us there we can leave. He said no we can stay 30 - 40 min. So apparently if you can speak French you get an extra 10 min. I yelled at him in French for the way he was treating customers. He apologized and offered to treat us to drinks. We decided to leave. So it seems to me that this place doesn't welcome foreign customers and will take advantage of them if they don't speak French. Will I come back? No To whom do I recommend this? No one. Creperies around Montparnasse area are a dime a dozen so go somewhere else you're not missing anything beside a bad manager who doesn't want to work his full shift.

While…read morethe Cafe de la Place is fairly boring and expensive (typical tourist trap brasserie) this small vendor is a treasure. The owner/chef is very proud of his operation and prepares crepes and sandwiches before your eyes as you wait with a selection of very fresh ingredients. If you want avocado and fig in your sandwich, well, he will cut them up for you from a whole fruit! Maybe don't try to change your order too much because the chef has a very clear idea about what ingredients go well together :) The crepes are quite traditional in terms of the selection of toppings of ham, cured ham, cheese, mushrooms, and egg... But they do not fail to please the taste-buds. The sandwiches are more exotic with choices like fresh mozzarella di buffala and roquette/arugula and on a fresh baguette they are delicious and filling. Crepes are from 3.5-6.5 euros and sandwiches are 5-7 euros so its a great deal if you feel like avoiding the cantine or a McDonald's...or like avoiding to pay 6 euros for a Coca Cola in the Cafe de la Place next door (how much would a sandwich cost???). However, the cafe (if they are not too busy) will probably let you eat a crepe/sandwich at one of their outdoor tables if you buy a drink from them (but be warned, the crepe might be the cheaper portion of your meal...) Bring cash and enjoy one of the best crepe stands in Paris!
