Our initial experience was so memorable, we returned for a 2nd and final time before heading home to the U.S. We ordered the Paname, Bacon & Santiago galettes and only one of us ordered from specialty menu. The egg was perfectly cooked with the yolk perfectly runny. The ham reminded me of prosciutto, but not as salty and a bit thicker. Each galette was delicious and satisfying. We all shared the banana crepe (La Reunionnaise) for dessert. A satisfying ending to our meal. It was a bit busier on this visit and while we were seated promptly, it took a long time before we were able to order or receive any attention from our server--it appears that there was only 1 person handling all functions, other than cooking. The service was surprisingly different than our first experience. We saw a few guests leave due to lack of service however, we choose to stay because we wanted crepes for last dinner. While in Paris for work a while back, I wandered around looking to see what I could see. With no specific plan in place, I just enjoyed the city. Later in the day, I realized I should not pass up the opportunity to enjoy authentic Parisian crepes. I saw they were open so I headed in. The spot wasn't too busy, so I was able to enjoy a leisurely dining experience. My server was very helpful and attentive. My crepe was outstanding. It was so light and delicious. It felt like a true delight. The room was comfortable but I wish it had offered a more cozy vibe. My wife was so excited. Her friend from High School, who lives hundreds of miles away, was visiting Paris at the same time we were. Our families hadn't had a chance to hang out in years. So we agreed on lunch at Framboise and a stroll around the Champs-Élysées. We laughed and we ate and the kids worked through that awkward "kids getting reacquainted" process. We played the Association Game with them. You know, I say a word and you say a word that's connected somehow and then the next person says a word connected to the previous word. It's a great ice breaker and if you've got someone with a goofy sense of humor it gets silly pretty quick. We laughed and had fun and gobbled down every single item put in front of us and as we leave the my daughter says this lunch rates as possibly the best lunch she's ever had. And I stopped and thought "You know, I just might agree". I can't put my finger on a single item but the food was delicious and the service was kind. The company was an absolute joy and that makes any experience better. It was one of those beautiful, sweet days that seem to occur outside of the boundaries of time. One of the closest creperies from our hotel was Framboise. I realized they have a couple other branches so I wasnt sure what to expect. We did come in an hour or so before closing so the wait was of course not an issue. I was relieved the staff didnt seem bothered by us coming in late and served us very well. My husband ordered the usual sweet crepe (bananas, chocolate etc) which was good but not that remarkable. I tried my first ever savory crepe - Cervin. And I did enjoy my order. The ham that came with it was not too salty which I liked, the raclette was enough although I think I wouldnt mind a little bit more lol i was also a little skeptical with potatoes in my crepes but when I tried it, it wasnt so bad. Although it made me feel full rather quickly. One of the best parts of their crepe is that they make really good batter. Great place off the hustle and bustle of the Champs Elysees on a quite street, easy access off of the Franklin D Roosevelt train stop - if you really needed to try this location; as there are several locations in Paris as it is. The menu has both English and French, and the staff speaks English well enough too. I got the Jamon/Potato/Chive savory crepe and the Banana/Chocolate dessert crepe. You can opt for the pre fix set menu which gets you a drink + savory + sweet crepe; which I think is a deal at under 20Euros. This is a trendy crepe joint just a block off of Champs Elysees. It's pretty popular. I was able to just walk in and get a table without waiting. If I'm not mistaken, they do take reservations online but only for dinner. They have an English menu if you do not speak French (like me). I ordered a crepe with smoked salmon and brie (picture). Framboise is located conveniently close to one of the hotels we stayed at while in Paris (Hyatt Madeleine). We were on the way to Champs-Élysées when we stopped here for brunch. We both ordered savory crepes, his a pizza and egg crepe and mine one with ham, sauteed mushrooms, Emmental cheese, and a fried egg. The staff here are so nice and accommodating. I attempted to communicate in my broken French, and they provided us with an English menu and spoke to us in English without blinking an eye. The ambiance is trendy chic, but feels relaxed especially because this is tucked away from the busy streets of Champs-Elysee. We split the mini pancakes stuffed with smoked salmon and chive cream, which was my favorite. It is both savory and creamy and pairs deliciously with a red wine. For my entree, I tried the goat's cheese, honey, and raw zucchini on a buckwheat crepe. I think the best part about this crepe was the buckwheat crepe itself. I could snack on these alone because they have such a nutty flavor that tastes super filling. Craving crêpes and found this place on Yelp, so decided to check it out. It was almost 1 when I arrived, and the place was full. Waited for 5 to 10 minutes, then was seated. The menu is pretty expansive, with an "international" spin on the French crêpe; I saw ones inspired by dishes from Mexico, Thailand, and even Scandinavia (okay, not a country, but a region)! Being a sucker for anything with smoked salmon and goat cheese, I ordered the "Bjorn," their Scandinavian crêpe. And I tell you: it was LOADED. Liberal slices of smoked salmon and lettuce, a fat slab of goat cheese on the side, and a generous dollop of cream to finish it off. The crêpe itself was, surprisingly, crispy, despite the weight of all of those ingredients. Rich, and amazing. Ordered the "crêpe framboise" (raspberry crêpe) for dessert, since the place is appropriately named "framboise." Sadly, I was disappointed with it: while beautifully presented, the execution of taste did not live up to my expectations. The raspberries were slightly sour and the crêpe lacked any sort of flavor; it was plain. Regardless, the crêperie is a good place for a solid lunch/snack at a reasonable price. This is a great place for galettes, especially if you need to eat a gluten free diet. We started with one of the appetizer galettes with smoked salmon and it was delicious! For my main, I had a crepe with mozzarella, pesto, and greens. It was quite delicious. I was so distracted by my galette that I didn't notice what my husband had for his main. I did not have dessert, but the dessert crepes I saw other diners eating looked delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. We at there on a Friday night without a reservation. Having yet to eat any crepes in France, we were pretty excited to have some fancy, highly rated crepes. We got some of the cider, the salmon goat cheese crepe, the forest, and the banana chocolate crepe. The price was not bad either. If you are vegetarian and have a very American palette, maybe one of the more vegetable crepes will satisfy your taste. However, I would not recommend this place for most. The food was 3 out of 5 stars, but besides the smoked salmon and genuinely decent quality crepe bread itself, everything inside was extremely simple, lacking of flavor, and mostly stuff I could easily make at home for a lower price and much more filling and flavorful taste. In addition, service was a bit underwhelming, and the multiple fruit flies in the restaurant really put a damper on this review. We searched Yelp to find crepes near our hotel, and we wound up at Creperie Framboise. It was a good find! The decor was very cute and modern so I was charmed by the experience very early on. We went on Saturday morning and we were seating fairly quickly. The service was friendly and fast. I ordered the Ignacio crepe which was very good. What more can I say about this place that hasn't already been said. The savory crepes were excellent and the dessert crepes were even better. I visited Framboise on a rainy Sunday afternoon just after 2pm. We were welcomed with a smile and immediately seated. I mention this only because the restaurant closes at 2:30 but the staff was extra friendly and ready to serve. We ordered 2 savory breakfast crepes and 2 dessert crepes (see pics for details). My bacon, fried egg, and cheese crepe was cooked to perfection. So much so that I ate every last morsel off of my plate! For dessert I ordered a Nutella crepe. Boy was that a great choice. The crepe batter was slightly different than the savory (savory = wheat batter). It was thin, yet fluffy just like it should be. If anyone should write a manual on how to make a Crepe it should be Crêperie Framboise! 4 crepes and $29 (US dollars) later, I am one happy Yelper. We made reservations for dinner and it's a good thing we did because the place was crowded even on a Wednesday night. I was overwhelmed by all the delicious sounding crepes on the menu but decided on the Empanada crepe while my date went with the chicken tandoori one. We shared a bottle of dry cider as it seemed like the thing to do. Our food came quickly and was devoured just as quickly. My favorite part was probably the dessert.
