Found this little gem around the corner from our hotel. Very small place with a nice ambiance. Seems like a family run business with many local professionals having lunch. I ordered one of their specials off the chalkboard. It was a savory crepe with a hamburger pattie inside and a sunnyside up egg on top with a light color sauce underneath it all. It was delicious! It also came with a side salad.
One little turn off though. My wife had a cafe creme, daughter had a milk, and I asked for water and they tried to serve me a bottled water. I quickly caught them before they opened it and asked them for regular water. I was tricked already once before at another establishment for a 5€ bottle of Evian water. Gonna try not to let that happen again. Feels like these restaurants try to take advantage of tourists when they don't know any better. Everyone else around me had regular water on their table. So, I had to deduct one star simple for that reason. Otherwise, it would have been rated with five stars. read more
