This is a great neighborhood restaurant. I had the white asparagus followed by codfish. Both were absolutely amazing. Very friendly service!!! You will not be disappointed definitely try it.! Relatively reasonable €26-€30. The rose was less than four euros absolutely deal

    Cafè gourmand!!!

I do like the Bistrot des Vignes. This restaurant serves modern French fare in a contemporary setting. The food is really tasty and there is a good mix of meat vs. fish. I found the service to be efficient and friendly - not stuffy at all. The prices aren't super-cheap but the quality is much higher than you would expect for the amount they charge (scallops with a risotto and curry sauce for under €20 - can this be Paris?). A gem for the 16th which has the reputation of being... well, boring. There is a sister establishment in the 17th and 2 others in Levallois Perret.

Escargot...Awesome tender with great sauce...Very earthy!!!

I got the scallops and tagliatelle for the main and that was also really good but this pastry thing hit the spot.

The portion sizes were excellent for the price. I was expecting smaller portions, so I was pleasantly surprised when my plate came out packed with food and definitely worth the value. I would definitely recommend checking this place out, especially the location near the Eiffel Tower. Great food, generous portions, and an overall good experience!

I came here on my first visit to France with my sister and brother-in-law. I had just finished my time at the Eiffel tower and walked over to this restaurant for a drink and a snack. I was seated immediately, waiting for the rest of my party. The staff were incredibly patient, allowing me to stay for the fifteen-ish minutes it took for my family to arrive. We, of course, ordered the hot chocolate topped with cream. It was incredibly rich, which was the draw. It was required that we each ordered our own teapot, which provided about two and a half cups of hot chocolate. This was a bit excessive, as the drink was heavy and I could only stomach a cup. I did wish the restaurant allowed us to split the pot amongst our table. Nonetheless, I enjoy dining at Carette and returned on my second Paris trip with my husband. Anyone visiting for the first time should try their thick hot chocolate at least once.
