I found L and P Tree Services on Yelp when I needed six trees cut down and the stumps removed from my backyard. After getting several very high estimates, I contacted them and Rivaldo called me back immediately. I sent him a few pictures, and he gave me a very competitive estimate over the phone. Rivaldo and his crew came out and completed the job in two days. They did an excellent job and were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I highly recommend L and P Tree Services and would definitely hire them again for any future projects! read more

When soliciting quotes on Yelp, so many people want to come out in person to provide an estimate. I specifically provided details and photos and asked to just give me a rough estimate before coming out. L&P did exactly what I asked and gave a really good price quote. The quote stuck when he viewed it in person. I added scope and he added a reasonable price increase. The job was to remove overgrown ivy. It was a big job and the crew of three took care of it in one day, hauling away the waste twice. I won't solicit quotes on the next job, but instead call L&P directly. read more

I hired this company to trim some trees and birds of paradaise on my property. The team did an excellent job. The price was really competitive. It was among the cheapest of the ten quotes that I received. What set the company apart was the communication. The communication was clear, follow through was good. Arrival on day of service was actually ahead of time, which was appreciated. A final small but great indicator of the level of detail was that the team actually took all of the tree trash. I've had other companies try to minimize what they take by filling up our green and even garbage bin without asking. While taking the trash should be an expectation, but it has not been in the market. Overall, I would highly recommend this company for a combination of value, quality of service, and communication read more

Highly recommend! The crew was on time, professional, and communicated with us throughout the entire process. They checked in to make sure we were happy with the trim before moving forward, worked efficiently, and did an excellent job. Cleanup was fantastic too! they even cleaned up our neighbor's yard where debris had landed. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. We'll definitely be using them again! read more

Showed up on time and completed the job quickly and made my mother happy. Second job they have completed for us.

Ribaldo and his crew showed up and got the job done in a timely and professional manner. He was great at communicating during the planning stages and throughout the entire process. He reduced a large jacaranda tree by 50% without any mishap occurring to our house and our neighbor's house. On top of it all, he gave the best price for the job! Would highly recommend! read more

Ribaldo was super fast to reply to my messages and gave a quote very quickly after sending him some pictures of my palms. I felt his pricing was very competitive and reasonable for the amount of work my palms needed. He was also able to get me scheduled very quickly and showed up on time, trimmed my trees nicely and cleaned up the areas well afterwards. I highly recommend you use L&P palm tree service for your palm tree maintenance. I will be using them here forward for my routine tree maintenance. read more

Sprinklers were replaced in April. Have had 2 blow outs in the 4 months. First one a plumber fixed. Second one still broken. Said they were coming to fix and have ghosted me. Not sure if I am blocked or ignored. Meanwhile my lawn is dying. Now have to pay for some else to come fix it read more

I reached out to L&P Tree Service to get an estimate for a tree removal before my city permit expired. They originally said they would come by on Wednesday to check out the job, but they didn't show up. When I followed up, they said they were behind schedule and pushed it to Thursday at 4:00 PM.  Thursday rolled around and they flaked a second time with zero heads-up or explanation. I messaged them that evening to see if they had managed to come by, and they completely ghosted me and never responded. Missing two scheduled appointments in a row and going silent when someone is working against a permit deadline is wildly unprofessional. I ended up having to hire a third contractor just to get the job done on time. Look elsewhere if you want a crew that actually values your time read more

I didn't want to believe the 1 star reviews about the lack of follow through, but it is 100% true. Ribaldo and I agreed on the start date of Friday. Friday rolls by and they flake. Ribaldo said one of the crew had a family emergency. Understandable, so we reschedule for Sunday. "For sure on Sunday at 8am" was his message to me. Sunday rolls by and they flake again. Ribaldo said he had meant to say Monday, not Sunday, no apology, just "I meant Monday." Monday rolls by and they flake yet again and just stop responding. What's the point in wasting my time for a week? Just say you don't want to do it anymore. I would avoid L&P tree service at all costs. You'll only be disappointed. read more

Fast efficient and gave a competitive price. They were first to respond to my service request and also offered the best price.

Great experience! I needed my trees trimmed in my backyard. This company responded quickly. They came out the same day to give me an estimate and the job was scheduled for the following day. They did a great job trimming, shaping, and cleaning up. The price was affordable and not over priced. I will definitely use them in the future when my trees need trimming again. I highly recommend this company!! A little update ... they also do lawn services! We needed a new lawn service company as our previous one was way over charging us on repairs and lawn services. They show up as scheduled and do a great job. The lawn service cost monthly is very affordable and I am so glad I found this company. read more

They showed up on time and got to work. I hired them to take a stump out but it was too close to the water line, so they had to remove it with axes instead of a machine. They did a great job and cleaned up after they were done. They also provided me with the best price. I would definitly recommend them. read more

Ribaldo & his team were great ! I needed tree trimming, tree removal, shrubs cut back, and removal of several shrubs. I wanted it done same day if possible. They were able to come out same day. I can't say enough good things. Would definitely hire them again ! read more

I requested a quote for tree trimming of 2 tall fan palms in my front yard and included a photo. Ribaldo was prompt to respond with a very reasonable quote, lower than the 4 other quotes I received and offered to do it the next morning. I accepted and the crew of 3 showed up the next morning with a kind greeting at my door. Ribaldo communicated clearly what the next steps were and how long he expected it to take. They wore safety gear and placed cones on the road, making sure the vehicles nearby were moved out of debris range and any traffic was safely alerted. They did a professional job of the trimming and cleanup afterward. The palm trimmings were picked up and then they used rakes, a blower, and broom to pick up any leftover debris and placed it all in their hauling trailer. They made sure to also check and clean the neighbor's yard of any stray debris. I'm quite satisfied and highly recommend! read more

Ribaldo and his team did excellent work at a fair price. First of all, he is very responsive and communicates the job very well. He explained in detail what the scope of work would be and how he would maintain the yards. We had a huge overgrowth on our property Ribaldo's team cleaned it up very well to make it look neat again. After the initial job, I've requested that he maintains the property moving forward. Highly recommend his landscape services! read more

Ribaldo Lopez came out to my house on Sunday around 10:20 pm to Trim my five trees. It had rained the night before and rain clouds were still in the overcast sky, but Ribaldo did not let the potential for rain stop him. He brought some big power tools, and he did a fantastic job trimming my five small hedges. I will gladly call him every year when my hedges hedges need trimming. He gave me a price that was really cheap and that included hauling away all the branches and leaves. I decided to add an extra $40 to his price quote because he was very professional and did a fantastic job! Bravo, Ribaldo, and a huge thank you from me! read more
