This review is based only on a single takeout order of 10 dozen churros that I placed. I requested a variety of flavors: plain, vanilla and caramel all individually wrapped since they were for a meeting at work. The order was ready on time, hot and fresh, the gentleman asked me to pull my car up and he carried all the trays out to my car for me. The churros were really yummy- the caramel was the best!! read more

Came here with the guys, I had an LA style burrito with carne asada, someone had the chicken tacos (surprisingly juicy fresh and delicious), and someone had street taco plate. Everything was fresh made to order. It was so delicious! If you're looking for street tacos or LA style tacos and burritos, you HAVE TO try this spot! Horchata was awesome too. read more

L.A. TACOS - Street taco plate with carne asada, barbacoa, and al pastor. - Tex-Mex Near Me - Irving, Texas

Their food is decent ordered through grubhub I added a note about the beans preference, was ignored. The burrito wasn't half bad. Salsa roja is spicy but good, the dude in the front seemed lost, got there asked about my mobile order seemed so confused about mobile orders then proceeded to take another parties order, ten minutes later one of the cooks was kind enough to ask me what I was waiting on as soon as I told her she grabbed my food (which was sitting there the whole time) and gave it to me, only then the dude in the front was like "oh it was that one?" Dude had zero business being in the front. Will I order here again? Maybe not, not worth the trouble. And if you must be very specific about your order. read more

Yummy food and friendly service! They've got a good selection of options, including Tacos, Burritos and Quesadillas, all with the option to be vegetarian. The Green Sauce served with your entree is addictive, so be prepared to pour that verde yummy-ness on every bite! And I learned from the owner Rejin, they serve homemade tortillas on the weekend. Totally encourage everyone to give this local spot a try! read more

This place was an easy walk from my hotel and decided to give it a chance seeing mostly positive reviews. They have an extensive menu and I decided on the shrimp taco plate that includes a side of rice and beans. I of course being the fan I am of elote got a side of that too. After a bathroom visit I noticed my taco plate was ready and was told my elote will come out soon. The tacos had a good flavor and plenty of small shrimp the tortillas were quite soggy and greasy though. The rice had little flavor and some hard pieces throughout the small cup. The beans were straight awful not a flavor to be found, I doubt they're even salted. Finishing the majority of my meal the server finally brings my elote that I ordered 20ish minutes prior. I giving this establishment the benefit of the doubt was thinking it was made fresh and to order or at least as advertised. I was definitely let down by my cup containing chunks of corn with mayonnaise and maybe 3 chunks of feta cheese? The menu stated there would be tajin included but alas it was spiceless. I paid about $27 for my food (including a drink) and do not think it was worth it at all.. read more

The taco's were some of the worst tacos I've ever had! I got the Al Pastor tacos and they were big chunks of pork that were tuff and a lot of fat. I also got the elotes and they were super creamy and had a weird taste. The only thing that tasted good was the carne asada sope. read more

Wow. I cannot say enough to express the disappointment. We arrived and were the only patrons in the restaurant. We sat for 10 minutes after placing our order with 0 activity in the kitchen. Then a party of 6 enters. The kitchen becomes active. The party of 6 who arrived got their food within 10 minutes of arriving. We were told they "called ahead." Then the kitchen went silent again. 5 minutes later the kitchen fired back up. It took us 27 minutes to get (3) taco plates, which cost $51! Atrocious service, and see attached photo for what they call "shrimp," which is smaller than the cilantro that was on the taco and only moderately larger than the onion. If you're hispanic you may have a better experience, because they will serve you first. They lost our business and I will tell everyone about the experience. The gentleman who appears to be the manager is incredibly rude read more

Very first time here with my boyfriend. The place is new and we highly recommend it if you're into Mexican food! I had the taco special which were 3 tacos with a side of rice and beans. My boyfriend went for their supreme jumbo burrito (that he got full with) which was HUGE all with a good amount of price! -p.s we love the chips and guac!!! read more

Great burritos! I had the regular shrimp burrito, and my fiancé had the regular chicken burrito. Both were so huge that I can't imagine what the jumbo size looked like. Very flavorful with the right amount of seasoning. My fiancé ado ordered 2 steak tacos. Very good. We were so hungry we didn't get a chance to take pics. Chicken Burrito read more

Do NOT eat here unless you want to find an old rusted earring in the middle of your burrito during a pandemic. And then when we called to confront the employees/owner you get blamed for it. Once we got to the store, she continued to deny it. Once the owner got on the phone the employee admitted to it being Dona Rosa's earring. Staff had an attitude the entire time as if it were our fault the earring was in our burrito to begin with. Not very sanitary, we will not be going back. Wish we could give zero stars. read more

FOOD WAS GREAT, SERVICE WAS BETTER. I was from out of town, looking for authentic Mexican. This place didn't disappoint

I looked at several Mexican restaurants before I ordered and chose this one because they had elotes on the menu. I get my order and they did not have elotes and gave me churros instead. I wish they'd just called me to see what else I wanted because I would've preferred anything else. I'm very disappointed. read more

For one thing, the tacos are tiny and unflavorful. The rice and beans were similarly not flavorful. One of our group ordered the chicken quesadilla. The chicken had the look and texture more like tofu than quicken. read more

I got the Mexican style tacos and surf and turf. Seems pretty over priced for the quality. I'm not going to be a repeat customer.

My husband has been eating lunch here regularly lately & raving about it. He took me to eat there over the weekend and I do have to say, it was delicious! The ingredients are super fresh, and the staff are very friendly and personable. Will definitely eat here again! read more

The food and service is fantastic!!! Im from LA so I know good authentic LA tacos. They didn't disappoint.

This was a great little spot for some excellent tacos!! The service was great and everyone was friendly and would definitely come back. The food was awesome, wait time was short, and the drinks they have were Delicious!! I recommend the Jamaica drink. read more

My husband and I tried this place. The three stars is an average for the both of us, I liked it more than he did. My complaint was anything I got with any kind of sauce or liquid cheese was drenched and very messy, and we both HATED the horchata, a drink we really enjoy, as it was just awful. To me the style of food is like that of a Fuzzy's Taco place. I would go again. read more

Eat there again yesterday, found the food great, service was also very good and staff was extremely helpful. I recommend the LAburrito with Carnitas by far my favorite. We consider ourselves queso connoisseurs and this place has great queso! You can't leave without trying it! Good food and the tacos plates are a great deal for 3 tacos, beans, and rice. Our favorite is the barbacoa but you can't go wrong with the carnitas and carne asada too. read more

This place is a hidden gem! A few friends kept telling me about it and I was in the area for lunch so I finally stopped by and I'm glad I did. I got the steak burrito and it was sooo good! No joke! I came back with my girlfriend that evening so she could try it and now she loves it too! I got the chicken burrito the second time and it was just as good. I've now been here a few times and you can't go wrong. More and more people are learning about it. You won't be disappointed that's for sure. Happy Eating! read more

Tacos were very small but good. Really didn't get full off the taco plate. If I had known the size tacos I probably would have gotten more. Anyways, food was good. read more

We tried it based on the reviews and it did not disappoint. I can't give this place enough stars!!! The food was awesome, the place was clean and the staff was super friendly! I really enjoyed my meal! I got carnitas and al pastor street tacos on flour tortillas. The carnitas was tender, juicy and seasoned VERY well! I was pleasantly surprised. The al pastor was good also; it was my first time having it so I have nothing to compare it to. The caramel and vanilla churros were superb as well! I also noticed and appreciated the cooks had on masks during this time. The place was very clean. We will definitely be back! read more

Great spot for tacos. Really enjoyed talking to the owner, his love for Mexican food, and culture. A hidden gem.

Came by this place after work with my sisters and was surprised this was a sit down and eat restaurant too. Initially I was under the impression it was just carry out. But good service and great authentic tacos. I had the mamas tacos and the elote (which they brought out the sauce too so you can put however much you'd prefer) my sisters tried the burritos and the torta. Everything was very tasty. Will definitely be back. read more

I'm in town for the first time ever visiting my cousin while on vacation. We found this spot from the reviews on Google and it didn't disappoint. The service went above and beyond expected. The food was really good. I had the crunchy tacos and my cousin had the shrimp tacos. It was a beautiful day so we sat out on the patio, which was nice. We happened to come at the right time (unknowingly) because their liquor distributor was there. They gave us free samples and came with cups of ice before we even asked! They also own the strip and I popped into the liquor store quick and the service there was great as well. I would highly recommend and will come back if I'm ever in the area again. Thanks for the service! read more

We had a great dinner. Crispy tacos and very good nachos made with fresh fried chips. We will return for sure.

Taco Tuesday is the only day to go as the tacos are way too small for almost $2 each at regular price. Had good flavor but large chunks of fat in them. I did like being able to choose between three different salsa types to use at the table. Overall I left hungry even after ordering an extra taco. read more

Pretty good tacos and it's a bit of a local vibe. If you are on a short layover, swing by on the uber.

Got the jumbo burrito which was fantastic, made up for the 30 minute wait to get it. There was one other person in the restaurant while I waited and they still lost my order. There were 6 people behind the counter, one guy sitting next to a girl actually working, in his pjs. Another guy (who I suppose was just his friend) stood behind the counter and they chatted while the other 4 seemingly aimlessly wandered around trying to get orders out. There was a younger man who seemed to be in charge of packaging the orders who every time an order came out would walk up to me and ask if it was my order (did this twice, after the second time they realized my order was lost). When I saw my burrito, it got handed off back and forth between the girl working and the boy packaging at least 4 times and then they finally figured out what to do. The girl apologized for the wait. Again the food was very good, just don't come here if you're in a hurry; do however if you want to be entertained... read more

If you're craving Elotes, this is not your go to. I also asked for one of the cups to have less Mayo and they didn't mark the cup. Asked for extra cheese, n extra cheese. I can't speak on the other food, but do not go for the Elotes for sure. read more
