We came here the day before Christmas, and it was open to our surprise. The staff was wonderful to offer special of popcorn chicken with our order. We got 2 soup bowls of Ramen which was wonderful. The separate booths with screen coverings was fun for my son. It was almost like we were in a private house with curtains in the entrance. We also got fruit tea drink for my son which satisfied him. Overall, we will come back again if we happen to be in the area. read more

Cute spot, good food and a separate boba section called tbaar. I liked the private curtain room. It gives the real essence of Japan. I got the Tonkatsu omurice with curry Demi glacé because they were out of the original. It was a fluffy omelet egg and Pork Tonkatsu on top of chicken fried rice, topped with your choice of Curry Sauce or Demi Glacé. I didn't get ramen but my daughter did. I tried hers and the broth was phenomenal. Next time I'll get the ramen. read more

New ramen shot I got to take my family to go check out in Eagan. We got boba tea while we waited that tasted amazing. I had the curry ramen with tankatsu (fried chicken) tasted amazing but it was a little thicker than other places I've had the same ramen. I'd really recommend getting the combo to get a pork bao and tea with your ramen. The place is new and the look, feel and service were really indicative of that. Really nice environment and private rooms if you want to use those. read more

Kyuramen - #7b Tonkatsu Curry Ramen with Thai iced tea - Ramen Near Me - Eagan, Minnesota

I'm feeling under the weather and keep hearing people raving about Kyuramen so I decided to give 'em a try vs. my normal go-to pho restaurant. I got the MEGA ramen and while a little too garlicky, it was good on a lazy Sunday. I got extra noodles but definitely didn't need to since portion size was decent. Regardless, LEFTOVERS!! 8/10 The steam pork bao buns were delicious -- the sauce was super yummy and the pork was perfectly tender. 9/10 We also got an order of their tempura shrimp and those were just okay -- slightly bland. I wouldn't rave about them, but would maybe try again. 5/10 OH and because I'm a sucker for beautiful, thoughtful packaging 12/10 (refer to my pictures). My family is happy to see a good ramen place come to Eagan and apparently a bunch of other people are too since the wait can get a littttttle long. Definitely check 'em out sometime though! read more

This is a very good ramen restaurant. I enjoyed the spicy ramen and we both enjoyed the octopus balls. My Thai iced tea was very good also. We had a great waiter and the decor is awesome. The total cost is quite expensive. read more

The ramen here is delicious! We ordered the Sapporo miso ramen, Tokyo tonkotsu shoyu, takoyaki, popcorn chicken, and the classic omurice. All were delicious! You can choose to do white garlic or black garlic for an extra $1 in their ramen. Everything on their menu is about $5-20. We had a party of 7, and got a private booth. Customer service was great. The waiters were attentive and kind. Parking is conveniently right outside the restaurant. I'll definitely be back! Overall rating: 10/10 read more

ramen is terrible, and the restaurant has a bad smell. The service is just so-so. I'm never coming back here again.

The sauce of this food smells sour and rotten, making it impossible to eat. It's absolutely disgusting! The noodles here are terrible. The soup is cold and tasteless, the noodles are hard, and the service is very rude. I'm never coming back again. read more

While the food itself was okay, my partner and I were most excited for the Omurice, which neither of us had tried. We told the waiter that I had a dairy allergy and asked him if the dish had any dairy. He went to check, and said no, just egg and oil. Slathered in sauce, my partner and I ate the omurice, which was admittedly quite good. I immediately started feeling nauseous. My boyfriend tasted the rice again, without the sauce, and could taste butter. We asked the staff once again. Is there dairy? They said, no. But there's butter. Yeah, I said. Butter is dairy. I'm going to throw up for the rest of the day. And it's my boyfriends birthday weekend. We have plans later-- unbelievable. They gave us half off the meal, but considering some rice and egg was like 22 dollars and a bottle of soju would have been 24 bucks (costs 6.99 at the grocery store, mind you), I would say not worth the drive out there nor my impending illness. Thank you Kyuramen for ruining my next 48 hours. read more

Kyuramen - Look it's just amazing. The right about of everything. - Ramen Near Me - Eagan, Minnesota

First time at Kyuramen in Eagan. We arrived on a Saturday night right as the dinner rush started. We were offered immediate seating at the bar, but our party was several people who hadn't seen each other in awhile and we needed a table. We registered at the Yelp kiosk in the front and they had a table in 5-10 minutes. There were no chairs to sit while we waited, hopefully there might be a few chairs in the future. Some of us had looked at the menu and we knew what we wanted to order. Our friends needed a bit more time. As a table we ordered the following: Amazing Lemonade - better lemonade than the Minnesota State Fair. Sweet yet tart, with cucumber infused for a refreshing unique taste. Taro Milk Tea - Perfectly sweet Taro. It was ordered without boba; haven't tried the tapioca pearls here. All of the beverages look tasty. Popcorn Chicken - excellent, tasty bite size chicken. A bit dry without sauce. Needs a dipping sauce. Vegetable Spring Rolls - best I've had in years. Crisp on the outside, perfect blend of vegetables on the inside. Great Value. Perfect for sharing with others. Gyoza Dumplings - Pork dumplings cooked just right. Sauce on the side is a soy dipping glaze. Delicious. Most of the appetizers sometimes come with the same lightly spicy mayo. It was good but that's all for sauces? I might look for other sauces maybe you can purchase. Pork Bun - Pork Belly sandwich. Pork Belly was fine, nice sauce. It was good! Shrimp Tempura - Shrimp Tempura was the best I've had in town in many years. The shrimp had a delicate sweetness, and the tempura batter was fried just right. It had just a subtle touch of softness inside the shrimp tempura batter. Ramen - one of the people in our party had ramen. When asked if he wanted it spicy he said yes. It ended up being a little too spicy for him. If you don't like things spicy it will still be tasty without being "spicy"! I would say he liked medium spice. It was probably spicy as you would expect. Broth was very satisfying. I will say that it seems like all the ramen seems the same, just different protein. Omurice - Two of us ordered the Omurice Meal which included Amazing Lemonade. There was a pork option listed on the menu but they did not have it. We ordered the Chicken cutlet Omurice instead, and we were quite surprised. The omelet was cooked to absolute Omurice perfection. Curry sauce was spiced as I had hoped. Fried rice was very satisfying. Really enjoyed it. In a town full of ramen shops, the Omurice is what makes Kyuramen unique in the area. We ate so much we didn't have room for dessert. Next time! Just one little tip for the restaurant - we didn't have any dinner napkins. 4 cocktail napkins wasn't enough. What a gem of a restaurant in Eagan. I don't live nearby but I will bring more friends! Highly recommended to people who like Japanese food, bubble tea, and ramen. I hope foodie adventurous people come and enjoy Kyuramen. read more

The food was very delicious. Extremely loved the Takoyaki Octopus Balls! The Ramen was delicious as it wasn't overly salty and was very filling. I love the private table spaces. We had a party of 6 and the room felt like being in our own dining room. They have call buttons in the rooms to call the servers. The servers are prompt and knowledgeable. They have ramen, appetizers, and drink combos. We loved seeing the omurice was fun to see opened at the table. The flavors together were great. The ramen broth was flavorful and the bowl was a good sized portion. The Thai tea was amazing and a good balance to flavor and sweetness. They have tons of tea drink options and boba toppers. It was a great place for our family to feel like we were in our own space. It would be great for people with sensory processing sensitivity to be able to go out to eat in a more private setting than a loud big restaurant. They also have side by side bowls which are great if you want two types of ramen, but can't decide. read more

I LOVE AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND to eat here. The service was so nice they helped us out answered all our questions! This place was nice. We got to get the little private booths, which I mainly wanted to experience while trying out their ramen. The Ramen selection wasn't much. Everything was all similar, just different meats. Service was good. Our server helped us out with some items and suggestions on what he/ customers liked. Price is reasonable. The Ramen wasn't bad at all. The broth was richer than some other ramen spots, but theirs similarities. I'll only try this place out if my wife wants to go back, haha. Or if we get the room for privacy. If you don't get the room, then it's like any other Ramen joints. read more

Super cute and clean. They have a tablet at the front for check-in, you get to choose where you'd like to be seat. The general area, private booth or bar. We picked what ever was available first since I was not feeling too good that day and didn't want to wait for the private booth. While waiting, we order some boba tea from Tbar inside of Kyuramen. I had the passion fruit tea, it was super refreshing. Not too sweet! I had the Spicy Kyushu Tonkotsu at the max spice level. I like my food spicy, it was a good spice, but I could have handle a bit more. Oh! Their water, has lime in it, we didn't know so we thought there was something in our water. The waitress had to inform us, and it might have just been us, but the water smelled like fish so we didn't drink it. We also got the Omurice, but we asked them not to pour the sauce on it. We weren't too fond of the sauce. Overall the food was decent, nothing to extraordinary. The wait staff was pleasant. Can't complain but not much to brag about either. read more

The vibe was super cool! We were seated at the bar and got to see the chefs work in the kitchen. We got the Combo B.2, which had 2 ramen, 2 drinks, 2 desserts and a side of popcorn chicken. Went back a second time, and decided to try the omurice just once! It was tasty! I've never had it before but I'm a big fan of over easy/medium eggs. I realize that if it was any hotter, the egg would be as runny as it needs to be, but I kinda wished the rice was just a tad bit hotter, but that's just my preference... My husband got the curry ramen and said it was better than the first time we went. Also got the popcorn corn appetizer and I couldn't stop eating it! So good! Definitely makes me want to go back again to eat there in the future! read more

This restaurant is spacious, clean, and well-lit. We ordered the tonkotsu shouyu ramen, spicy tonkotsu ramen, and the classic Japanese Omurice combo with demi glace sauce. For drinks, we got the aloe grapefruit tea and the strawberry green tea with milk foam. The ramen was quite tasty, savory, and comforting. The broth was creamy and not greasy, and came with classic ramen toppings. The chashu/pork serving could have been a bit more generous. The spicy tonkotsu ramen was just ok, as the spice tasted a bit one-dimensional and lacked umami. The aloe grapefruit tea was my favorite beverage of the two, and omurice was my favorite thing on the menu! The presentation was excellent and the eggs were perfectly runny and molten. Something I'd improve was the service: the servers were polite, but we felt rushed out to turnover tables more quickly. read more

This place was so good! I absolutely loved their ramen, staff, and interior. I ordered the vegetable ramen and it was soooo good. The veggies were great and the ramen broth was awesome. I also got a free amazing lemonade by checking in (via yelp) and that was really good too. A bit sweeter than I usually like, but really refreshing anyways. The staff here were all super kind and quick to bring food, checks, etc. The inside was also really pretty and looked new. Overall, I really liked this place and will definitely be back! read more

Great little strip mall place for ramen! We were a party of 3 and we got a private booth, which was super neat. They have a wide selection of ramen...I got the kimchi ramen and enjoyed it very much. It wasn't terribly spicy, but had a ton of flavor. Service was prompt. We went through the meal in less than a half hour, even though we never said we were in a bit of a hurry because we had something else to get to. At the same time, we didn't feel rushed. If in the area, would definitely go again and try a couple of the appetizers/side items. read more

Food was good- at the least the omurice. The ramen was a little meh. Service was really nice though, the old asian people running it are nice. First time eating today and Kyuramen delivered. First Ramen I have finished quickly at almost any ramen restaurant I've ever tried in MN. Takoyaki will always be one of the appetizers people have to try aside from karaage. Last but not least, the omurice is everything I had hoped for why trying it, and the way the egg sac is cut to cover the fried rice was something I wanted to see with my own eyes. I wished I had a larger stomach to eat more. Next time I come here I am hoping to try the Omurice with curry sauce and Chicken Katsu. By then I hope i have a lot of stomach space. read more

While the food is mediocre at best, the service is disappointing. Service: your atypical mentality of I know better so therefore I don't think the customer is important to be served.
