I love stopping by Kyle's Kitchen for their happy hour (3-6pm daily). The burgers are great. The milkshakes taste amazing and are made with high quality ingredients. This restaurant is one of my favorite places in Goleta to grab a quick meal with friends. I highly recommend! read more

One of the best burgers in town, largely thanks to the light brioche bun that is properly toasted and not a cold hard rock like many of its twice as expensive competitors. I was initially skeptical, but my Kyle burger was delicious. I will definitely be back, though I do recommend holding the thousand island. Fries or salad come as an extra. read more

This is definitely one of our go to places. The food is great and employees are friendly. You can't beat the price either. I love to support the local guy who loves to give back! Super bonus! Our last dine-in we even saw Kyle himself. read more

The food is reasonably priced, delicious, fresh, and filling. Everyone I interacted with was super personable and lovely. Plus they donate to charities. 10/10 read more

They're fries, salads and burgers are sooo bomb!! They put this seasoning on the fries that's super yummy.

Everyone on here who says the burgers are too small- I hate to break it to you, but your portions are too big. This is the perfect size meal, especially the Pair It combo. Again, beef aficionados- if you want a huge slab of beef with lots of hormones grown wherever this maybe isn't for you. It is marketed as a I come here almost every week because the food is cheap, fast, and really good. I hate trying new places to eat but at Kyle's you're not just paying for food, you are becoming part of a community. Kyle is a wonderful kid and unlike any other restaurant in Goleta, this restaurant regularly gives back to the community through special needs organizations. If that doesn't pull at your heart strings, then come for the completely appropriately portioned meals and the truly awesome shakes. I order salads, burgers, soups- there are tons of options and nothing has ever disappointed. And if you are feeling up to it, try a cookiewich. They are amazing! Have I been missing a fork in my to-go bag sometimes? Yes. Have my fries been cold a couple of times? Yes. Is this a four star Michelin restaurant that we are critiquing here? No. So if you want a good meal and you are in Goleta, head to Kyle's Kitchen. I'll probably be on the patio mowing down a salad- with a shake, of course ;) read more

If you are looking for a delicious burger and milkshake this is the place to go. We had the mountain climber burger with double patties. Was seriously good- a little heat but not overwhelming. The bun was perfect and flavor was spot on. Also got the Thai peanut salad. The salad was good, but the portion seemed small for $9. Maybe if it had come with chicken it would have better value. Don't forget to get a shake! Had the classic chocolate and it was amazing! Overall great meal, the place was clean, and the service was quick. I left already thinking about the next time I could come back! read more

Nice place! I work with kids with autism do it was a MUST place for me. I took my 13 year old client with me. She of course had a grilled cheese I Ordered a chicken sandwich... it was alright. DIFFERANT.. IT WAS MY FIRST TIMe so I will be posting another review at my second visit (and order something different... hopefully I will get to meet the famous Kyle!!) read more

I tried Kyle's Kitchen for the first time today. I have been living in Santa Barbara for a couple months and a friend recommended Kyle's Kitchen. I wasn't sure what to order, but the gentleman behind the counter named Ryan was a pleasure to talk to and provided excellent and friendly customer service. He suggested the mountain climber and I also ordered a cucumber mint lemon aid and a side of fire fries. I have to say, the burger was excellent, juicy and full of flavor toped with just the right amount of crispy onions and compliment well with pepper jack cheese. Overall my experience was wonderful with great customer service, a great vibrant atmosphere and not to mention some good quality food. I would highly recommend this restaurant to any of my friends. read more

Me and my husband just had a lunch here... the food taste great. I order the bacon w/ blue cheese n side of salad. The bun was great they grill the bun a little bit so it's a little but crispy. The blue cheese was just the right amount. However, I went to take the fork there was out of the fork and the whole meal I saw many staffs passed the utensil area but no one check it. read more

Every time I go to the chiropractor (3 doors down) I always eat at Kyles Kitchen because this place is amazing!! I get the earth burger and fire fries and not only is my back happy, but my tummy is happy. The food is enough to give this place 5 stars, but the service also can't be beat. Everyone is super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. In particular, the manager Ryan is outstanding! Puts a smile on my face every time I walk in! Keep up the good work! read more

First time here and very impressed. The restaurant runs smooth with a good vibe about it. My food was brought out to me in a timely manner and tasted phenomenally. This restaurant will get my business again in the neat future read more

I love this place! Not only is their veggie burger to die for, but their story and mission is just beautiful. If I lived closer, I would be in every week! read more

Although the food is good, the customer service at this location is lack luster. The website would not allow us to add items to order so I attempted to call in my order with 5 other coworkers on a small break. The store refused to take a phone order and said we had to do it online or in person. Well if your website is not working properly and we have a 30 minute lunch to order for 5 and have to wait, why bother? We get the website to work then send one coworker to pick them up and orders were not received online? They said they can't do phone orders cuz they are short staffed????? Nobody was in this location? Lazy workers with excuses not to do their jobs! The guy with the huge cold sore on his mouth did not the situation any better! Get your act together or we will go elsewhere! read more

Kyle's kitchen is incredible! My family eats there once or twice a week! It is the only restaurant in Calle Real that is delicious, healthy, and quick. Their consistently amazes me! Every time we go there the food is always great! I have never had a bad meal from Kyle's Kitchen and I would highly recommend it to everyone! read more

Sorry, but the food at Kyle's Kitchen is not that great. There's little to say when the atmosphere is noisy, tables sloppy, and the food below average. If they offered me $40 toward another meal there I would never use it. read more

Food and service was great! Jesse really took care of us and our order was perfect. We ordered online and it was done exactly at the time they told us to arrive. read more

Place looked nice but... If you see how they handle the food, it's gross. They will handle your food without washing their hands after cleaning. I asked for well done but got medium on the burger. I hope i dont get sick. I rather go to five guys or in and out. read more

Great price point, friendly service. We enjoyed the food very much. We will definitely come back when in town. From L.A. and traveling.

The Ahi Tuna Salad is unparalleled! So fresh, healthy, and yummy without being wildly expensive.

Last visit, I got their burger and soup combo. Their tomato basil soup is usually relish but this time they watered it down so much so it was practically half water. What happened?! read more

Ok I am about to go rob this place to drink all of the strawberry lemonade that exists.... it's .. that .. good...... Additionally the seared ahi salad with sesame ginger dressing was absolutely perfect. The lettuce was super fresh which is the key aspect of a salad and the dressing was super yummy. I was not thrilled by the burger however. I felt it was really small meat for the amount of bread and it just felt kinda whimpy. The blue cheese was also too light and the bacon was not copious or thick or crisp enough. Also the carmelized onions were chopped onions..... that was the least impressive part to have a thick spoonful of wet chopped onions. They need a serious upgrade on the carmelized onions or just leave it off all together. I definitely however will be back tomorrow for lunch for a hearty salad and like a gallon of that out of this world strawberry lemonade. read more

This is our go-to take out place. The kids get the cheeseburger and fries and the adults get a burger and salad with the pair-it deal. We like the atmosphere and outdoor seating at the restaurant. We appreciate that there are usually sports on TV which is safe for young kids to sneak peaks at rather than something inappropriate. Since shelter in place we have used the curb-side service at least twice per month. read more

I found this awesome place on Yelp looking for char burgers while I was down. The food was wonderful and the staff very nice. I tried everything on the menue while there and wasn't let down. One afternoon I got to meet Kyle himself and what a great little guy. Plus the best part is they give part of the proceeds to developmentally disabled. It's also very affordable. My family of 3 ate for around 25.00. read more

After going back they have revised the size of the pattys and I am happy with the food.. Service is awesome! Also since april 2015 autism has hit home and I appreciate what this establishment stands for!! read more

Well first off, the place always seems to be dirty. I get that customers can leave their trash for the staff to clean but they aren't very attentive. I ordered the cheesy pig and fries, the bacon was way too hard to even bite into. The fries were literally crumbs and hard ones at that, also pretty cold. I could barely bite into any. I told the cashier and he offered me new fries but that took another fifteen mins. While I waited I noticed they have food waiting to go out for about five mins before anybody even realizes there's anything there. I guess that's why all the food was cold. read more

Veg burger was very good, however Fries were over salted And part of hamburger was raw read more

The reviews are crazy , I understand that the restaurant has great intentions but it is overpriced and the size of the burger patty was smaller then a McDonald's cheeseburger lol. On the good side the place was nice and clean and the employe's were helpful read more

Where's the beef? Big bun, lots of lettuce, onions and tomatoes, but little or no meat. This place will not become a Habit with us.

Friend took me there for dinner and I loved it. I had the ahi salad which was amazing. The people there were super friendly and the whole place just felt so comfortable and welcoming. I will definitely be going there more often now that I've been introduced to such a great place. read more

I'm pretty new to Santa Barbara and Goleta only living here 7 months. I've been trying new places around town and saw this place when I was on my way Pizza Hut. It caught me eye so I decided to come in the other day and give it a try. Starting with the food, first. I had a Tuscan sandwich that had pesto which is great because I love pesto. The chicken was good and the ingredients that came with it were all natural. They didn't have a weird taste like a McDonalds sandwich. The portion size of the sandwich was more than enough to fill me up for lunch. Along with the sandwich, I had the pig fries which were the best part of the meal. The bleu cheese bacon bits only made the meal better. To down all this food, I had one of their fresh squeezed lemonades. I can't remember which one i ordered but it was good nonetheless. Moving onto the quality of service at Kyles Kitchen. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by one of their employees whom was very energetic and helpful. When I came to the register, the supervisor was working, a younger man with a beard, he's the one that suggested the pig fries and I immediately shook his hand after for the great recommendation. I can tell everyone there gets along which creates a nice atmosphere to come in to sit-down and grab a quick bite. This place is great and deserves more recognition for their involvement in the community. I will definitely be coming back next time I am in Goleta for lunch. I'd recommend this place to my friends and especially the pig fries. read more

Very disappointed in the food here. I was expecting way better as people said it was good. The tomato basil soup was tasteless! The Thai salad was ok but not as good as I was lead to believe by others who told me about Kyles Kitchen. Not sure if I will ever go back. read more

Looking to try something new for dinner, the girlfriend and I decided to give Kyle's Kitchen a shot. We generally aim to like and distinguish a positive review for new places on the map, as restaurant success is a challenging operation to pull off for any new business. The Good: Kyle's kitchen is a restaurant founded with a goal of raising awareness and making a positive contributions to special needs organizations in our area. Their menu is well thought out, offers good variety and is easy to read. They're tapped into a live stream of social media that is displayed on a screen above the cashiers. The Bad: Usually when you see a line out the door, it's a good thing. This line happened to be due to slower than expected order processing time. After everyone had ordered in front of us and the crowd had dissipated from the restaurant completely, the wait continued.. From standing in line to walking out with our to-go order, we were pushing 30 minutes. It was a painful wait and my girlfriend pointed out that it seemed like we were there a lifetime. To make matters worse, the cook had prepared our order for dine-in. An honest mistake, but between them rewrapping and the 5 minute drive to our home, food was damn near cold by the time we got home to eat. I had ordered a cheesy pig burger with am extra beef patty. I think they forgot the bacon. The beef was nicely seasoned, but way over cooked. I think the cook would benefit for a class or two in residual heat because the girlfriend and I both ended up with beef patties that had resemblance of chewing on cardboard. Their social media feed seems to only display highly rated reviews, so perhaps they're not open to the productive criticism that comes from more cynical reviewers. Bottom Line: A spin off and sister company of the ever disappointing Silver Greens restaurant. More than willing to visit again to see if they've worked out the bugs of a new business, but $22 and change for two mediocre hamburgers, two fries and one fountain soda.. Followed by a painfully long wait, mistaken order and a side of disappointment. It's no Habit burger, but they sure are trying.. read more

For the price, this place is fantastic. You get simple, great food for a very reasonable price, and your money goes, in part, to help the disabled. I love the salad/burger combinations. One of my teens loves this place; the pickier one says no. But we come often, especially when we notice that they are supporting another service for the disabled. read more

I went to Kyle's Kitchen for the first time yesterday and had a wonderful time. Kyle was very welcoming and I even got my Hug!!! I had the Quinoa salad; it was excellent. I loved the atmosphere and the attentive staff. I will certainly go back and encourage everyone to give Kyle's kitchen a try. The fact that a portion of proceeds go to support a worthy cause is a bonus. read more

Very disappointed. Each time that I order the thai salad with chicken, however tasty, I am always missing ingrediants. Today I decided to review, because so much was missing. No wonton strips, no peanuts and no green onion. Also I never receive the bread that is supposed to be included. Today, the lettuce was horribly wilted. Something appears to be going amiss with the quality control. We like your restaurant, however it is a shame that I have never received this salad as the menu describes. read more
