In the neighborhood so thought I would stop by. Ordered a cheeseburger fires and drink. Now for a $11 plus meal I would expect better. The burger while tasty was very thin (think one big mac patty) with a huge bun. The burger was all bun. The fries while tasty where all tiny bits. Like the bottom of a fryer. Good egg and bacon burger. Good ingredients in the quinoa and arugula salad but I wish the dressing had more kick. Fries were decent and the kids devoured their grilled cheese sandos strawberries and milk shakes. It's a well run establishment. We will be back next time we stay in SB. read more

Great burgers and fries! Great atmosphere for lunch. Would recommend to anybody visiting Santa Barbara and looking for a great burger joint.

I have been there probably 2 dozen times now, and tried a majority of the things on the menu, which I am all happy to report are quite tasty. The quinoa salad is really good, and the bread rolls are awesome, especially when they come right out of the oven. All the burgers/chicken sandwiches are quite tasty, with my favorite being the mountain climber and rustic Tuscan. The one area of improvement I can think of are the fries. They are decent, but more often than not they are either cool, or get cool too fast. My only other micro complaint, is that the receipts don't include the tip as part of the total, so on a business lunch there one time I ended up having to haggle with the expense people to get them to include that in my reimbursement. But in general I really like the place, and come here about once every other week. I do like the donation concept that they have going, and Kyle is a really cool kid. I really hope this place continues to do well. Honestly, I bet this concept would do better than the "standard" Silvergreens concept that exists in IV right now. read more

We tried Kyle's Kitchen around Christmas when they were using a coupon. Turned out to be a good decision on our part. The service was fast and friendly. We used our coupon, which was buy one burger and get the second for free. We also ordered some of their fries. The total bill was less than $10! Great deal and the burgers were outstanding! About a week later, we went back and this time we got a burger and a salad....again, super tasty! It sold me at first bite! - The salad is generously but not overwhelmingly coated in vinaigrette. - The crushed croutons and pumpkin seeds gave a nice texture. - The cranberries adds a sweet note to the savory dish. - I also added the grilled herb chicken for $3 (large size); it was okay. - Comes with garlic herb roll (Silvergreens' honey wheat roll is better!) Since trying this, I've been religiously searching for a kale salad that can match up. There's some strong contenders out there, but I'm longing for the day I return to this. My friend got the combo for $9: Kickin' Cowboy salad and Ahi in My Body Burger. - The salad portion was small, but the fried onion strings and the spicy flair in the dressing was on point. - The ahi was unfortunately over cooked. If it was just nicely seared, the burger would've been a good choice. The wasabi aioli was delicious! There's a few more things on the menu I'd like to try, so I'll be back. Eat great food and support great causes. What a genius business model. I met Kyle and his mom Deena when they catered an event that I was speaking at. A week later, I decided that I needed to come to their physical location. I was very impressed. The atmosphere is very cool and the food is excellent. So far, I have only tried their bacon and egg burger which was great. I cannot wait to come back and try their other options like their ahi burger which I hear is excellent. We love Kyles kitchen!! The food is awesome, and the service is good! Those who are complaining, it's a burger joint with counter service, not a five star restaurant. Also, yes the prices are a little On the high side, but if you factor in how they donate it's not a big deal! My only advice is, stay consistent! There have been several occasions where my salad is delicious, and others with very big hard ribs of romaine (not so great to try to munch on).. I've been continually happy with this restaurant each time I go. Even when it's crowded the staff are very friendly and helpful. I got the cheesy pig burger, and my friend ordered one of the salads. Both were excellent and the bread was especially delicious! I also like their small selection of local beers. We shared a basket of stinky pig fries and I liked the idea and the overall taste, but the fries were too small and stringy. I prefer a more substantial fry. I felt like I needed a fork to eat them a long with all the scattered ingredients, which kind of defeats the point. read more

We really enjoyed coming here. I ordered the Cheesy Pig burger and regular fries, and my husband got the Mountain Climber with two patties and Stinky Pig fries. We also shared a sparkling lemonade. Out of all the things we ordered, our favorite was the lemonade! It had some mint and was super fresh and delicious. We both wish we had gotten our own. The Cheesy Pig burger was great. I especially love their hamburger buns. So good! The fries were also really good, but not stand out. (The Habit has my favorite fries ever.) Based on reviews here, I thought my husband would need 2 patties or he wouldn't be full. Not the case, at least with the Mountain Climber. He enjoyed his food, but thought it was too much, and too heavy. In the future he'll stick to one patty and regular fries. I took a bite of his burger, and I thought it tasted great. Just the right amount of spice. We loved eating outside and the person who brought us our food was an adorable, well-mannered little boy, probably about 10 years old. Loved him! Ordered to go and I knew I should've checked my order. Both strawberry side orders for kid's meal were missing. 1 napkin between 4 meals. 4 ketchup packets. The brioche bun is a nice touch but a little too thick. Ordered a salad but the greens were a little wilted. Fries were the least favorite of the group: over salted and over fried. One of the best burgers in town, largely thanks to the light brioche bun that is properly toasted and not a cold hard rock like many of its twice as expensive competitors. Although the food is good, the customer service at this location is lack luster. The website would not allow us to add items to order so I attempted to call in my order with 5 other coworkers on a small break. The store refused to take a phone order and said we had to do it online or in person. Well if your website is not working properly and we have a 30 minute lunch to order for 5 and have to wait, why bother? We get the website to work then send one coworker to pick them up and orders were not received online? They said they can't do phone orders cuz they are short staffed????? Nobody was in this location? Lazy workers with excuses not to do their jobs! The guy with the huge cold sore on his mouth did not the situation any better!
