Quinn was able to answer my questions and actually recommended a less expensive lift kit for my Jeep than I had planned on getting. He saved me $500 on the lift, shocks and install. I had a plan to add a winch on to my trailer. I thought I had it all figured out until I spoke with Quinn. He had a much better plan of execution that was more suitable for what I was trying to do. I had taken my Jeep to his shop when I was in high school (a very long time ago. Lol) and he did great work. I'm pleased at how it worked out. Glad I went to this place. I tried to install a crossover steering kit myself which I failed miserably. I also damaged the radiator in the process. ALSO, I shoddy job on the gas tank so I needed that looked at. I wanted to make sure to take it to a 4x4 related shop because I didn't want a regular shop to struggle with it. They did a quick and good job on that. Found out I needed a few other items like shocks and a drag link because it was all worn out. Not a big surprise, I knew I needed that. Joe was a big help and patient with my sporadic self. Even met me after hours. Quinn, very knowledgeable in Jeeps. Explained what I needed in a way I could comprehend. This shop is a performance and off road enthusiast shop. They have exceptional knowledge and depth of experience. If you go there and get axles changed, and they tell you add'l work is needed, you say thank you. They are gonna tell you the truth and give you an honest price. It's so rare now with Big O, Midas etc doing the work. They'll be nice to you, while the mechanics do poor work and service writers sell you smoke and mirrors. I've waited awhile to post this to be sure of my perspective. Long story short, this guy sold me one top for $800 dollars, put a different one that sold for $300 on the internet. This was after they screwed up my original order making me wait an additional couple weeks to get anything. When I called him out on putting a different top on my Jeep he actually yelled at me in his showrooom trying to make me out to be the bad guy! It was beyond anything I have ever experienced and was the most unprofessional interaction I have ever seen. Can't believe someone would charge over 200 bucks for work that never even got done. Was trying to get a black grille but on my Jeep...but apparently it wasn't the "right" one. Ok I get it I understand but why charge me 200+ dollars when you couldn't figure it out. You worked... supposedly?? so I respect getting paid for your labor, but a real business wouldn't charge full price when the job DIDN'T get done!! ******STAY AWAY***************The worst Business exchange I have ever had in 50 years! The head Mechanic, Quin, literally tried to rip me off. He tried to charge me twice after he was unable to find a part I needed after I brought the part in on my own that I paid for online! He also tried to insult me by saying I "ran off" the last time I was there... HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE WHEN HE HAD MY KEYS? I also stayed around for more that half an hour to order the part they could not eventually find and pay for, BEFORE I LEFT! Then he Claims that after 1 year into a 5 year warranty, the SOLID metal bolt that snapped in two was not covered under warranty... What? He tried to charge me LABOR for taking the bolt out.... and because he did not have any inventory that day... he wanted to charge me again the same labor when I brought the part in myself. Meaning If he had the part in stock, he would have charged me once and finished the work.. but because of his inability to have certain parts on hand... I have to PAY TWICE!!!! AND I BROUGHT IN MY OWN PART!!!! WHAT A RIP OFF SCAM! I took it to another shop, they charge me half an hour and finished in 10 minutes. SO WAS HE THEN GOING TO CLAIM THE PROFIT ON THE WARRANTY TOO!! SUPER SCAM ARTIST! The guy has GREAT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL BUT NO MORALS AT THE SAME TIME! I went to speak with numerous shops concerning this and they ALL were BLOWN AWAY at this behavior! Kyle's is a family run shop since 1966 THEY BUILD JEEPS! I've had jeeps half my life but they where all Grand Cherokees and I never really outfitted one. So when I bought my first real Jeep and found Kyles I went in and bought what ever he had available to outfit my Rig. I had them install the parts and soon realized I didn't like it so I went back and Kyle had no problem helping me find the parts I did like uninstalling then reinstalling the newer stuff all at a very reasonable cost. He also helped me sell or return the original parts I bought without any cost to me which is unheard of anymore. Anyone else would have said tough cookies brother and sent me packin!! Kyles is a place to go when you know what you want and your outfitting your Rig to work or play!! There's no lookie lues wandering around, there's no waiting room with a water fountain or TV's playing good morning shows, IT'S AN AUTOMOTIVE SHOP so if your looking for a place to get a battery changed maybe sears would be more to your liking. But if your looking for a shop that knows there way around a 4x4 then your looking at the right place. I was lucky to find Kyle's I can be an impatient customer so finding someone that was willing to walk me through my mistakes and get me out the door happy was a true blessing !! I brought my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee in due to a "grinding" sound coming from under my rig after I lifted it (at another shop). I have really put my Jeep through some tough trails and situations including almost completely submersing it in mud, being lifted off the ground and out of a ditch by a backhoe and having a boat on trailer jump the hitch and having the safety chains drag the backend going downhill at 45 mph. Quinn, the lead mechanic, knew exactly my problem almost right out of the gate. HIs estimate was spot on and they even did a full days of extra work to keep my rig going for another 100k miles. Dude is a joke. Terrible customer service and treats his customers like shit. I called and asked what time they closed, and told them I could be there right as they closed if he would look at my truck. He said it's cool he'll wait for me no problem. I show up and the shops closed up and he's gone. I call the next day and the female there told me I have to remind him or he forgets. Wtf? It was 4 hours. Anyway, had same convo and he actually waited. Didn't comment on no waiting the days before. I showed him what I wanted to do and told him I want the best of it all. Basically rebuilding my front end. He tells me $1500 I said that's fine and I'll call in a couple days to set and appointment. He took my name and number down and what I wanted to do. I called a couple days later no answer. It took me multiple calls just to get an answer. Lady says she has no idea about me, he said he didn't remember me. So I remind him he says ok he'll call me back. NEVER calls me back so I called back and he never ordered the items and forgot again. Tried once more and said screw it not worth my time. They were very nice at first. Told me they would install my led headlights and led taillights for free if I purchased them through him. So I paid in full and the next week when I came in after they did the install. He charged me $200.00 for the install. He said does two hours sound about right for labor. I said no you told me you install for free. I will never go back and make sure if they tell you something get it in writing. What a joke Quinn is an asshole, I would finish my review with that but it won't let me sooo. Here is the whole story he told me to come in so he could see what kind of shocks I needed. I came in the next day ordered my shocks told they where going to be there by noon they we're not there so I did not receive a call to be told that where there. Showed up today 7/15/16 to put them on that where the wrong size. The mechanic could not tell his "piece of shit boss" because he was talking to some guy in the back. I waited for about 45 min then I got pissed. I want back there and told the mechanic he needs to tell Quinn what was going on. Quinn came out of his office saying what's wrong why are you mad and what do you want me to do. I told him nothing can get some because you are in the back talking to your friend and am waiting. He started to get mad and cuss at me infront of other customers. I told him you are the most unprofessional piece of shit I know. Goes on saying he was in a meeting that was a 200k dollar deal. I told him so my 200$ does not mean shit to you. Then he says so what do you want me to do i said find me some fucking shocks. He then walked back to his mechanics while telling me you should have not said that. He come back to the counter pissed off like he was going to hit me. He told the nice lady to refund my money. I came in because my van wasn't able to pass smog. It was a non emissions issue so I hoped it wouldn't cost too much. I paid $450 to get my o2 sensors replaced. I pick it up and 15 miles later the check engine light came back on. I brought it back in and it turns out I had a gasket leak. Ok...why didn't you know this the first time you looked at my van? He then tells me "what do you expect when you have over 100k miles on it?" Ummmm my van has 60k miles on it. That struck me as odd that he didn't know how many miles was on the van he was working on. For a gasket leak he charged me $550 I went ahead and let him do it but I feel I was over charged. Besides that Quinn was nice and gave me a ride home after I dropped my van off and also my van did finally pass smog but it definitely was off putting to have to bring it in multiple times and spend $1k replacing o2 sensors and fixing an air leak in the head gasket. It was my first and probably last time I go there. read more

I didn't get a sticker for my window, but what i did get was a set of much needed Warns manual lockers to replace the old automatics on my holy grail 83 GMC Jimmy 6.2L diesel, and they were $25.00 cheaper than Amazon or anywhere else for that matter. So we proceeded to go back to the house to install these bad boys! The passenger side was an easy install, the drivers side came to a crashing halt, a real no go. The next day i showed back up at Kyle's, and told Quinn my problem, he dove in head first and started tearing this thing apart to find out why. This hub stub was really tight for some reason, and that's the reason why the new locker wouldn't go in. There were 3 problems, #1, the u-joint to axle assembly was a 1/4" to long, so he fixed that problem with a part that he dug out of his extensive boneyard collection from out back. "FREE" of charge! Problems 2 and 3 were the ball joints that had just been replaced a few days ago, the lower stub nut was way to long. Bad manufacturer quality control. The upper had a grease fitting that shouldn't have been there. This was a mechanic install error. Any 1 of these 3 issues was enough to cause the extreme tightness of the stub axle to keep that new locker from sliding in. But yet it wasn't apparent just by looking at it, at least by me! But finally Quinn was able to ferret out these problems 1 by 1. I just new that i was going to be hit hard on this one, but to my surprise, a 4 hour job later, i was only charged for 2 hrs. At a very reasonable price of $180.00. So me and Jimmy truck have definately found a new home if and when anything goes bad or if i am looking for any upgrades. Thank you Kyle's. read more

The owner is a total ass! Very unprofessional! No customer service! I took my Jeep in because the rear axle was making noise. I made an appointment took it back and they examined it. They called me back said a bearing was out on the axle shaft and it had made a groove in the shaft so shaft should be replaced. Called me back later and said the other side should be replaced also "as standardly done" they said. I asked if the other side was damaged at all and they said they didn't know because they hadn't pulled it out yet. I said if it was damaged then yes but NO if it was not damaged, pull it out to examine and then call me back. When they called me back they said it was done and I could pick it up, they also told me the other side axle was damaged so they changed it too. I said that they were supposed to call me back before replacing and they said the notes said I told them to replace it, I didn't, and they knew that. They said "well it needed to be replaced anyhow", I said that's not the point. When I got there to get my Jeep I asked to see the old axle shafts. The mechanic asked why, so I immediately got suspicious. He said they were over in the dumpster and I could go get them if I wanted them. I got very mad at that statement and said I wanted to speak to the manager. This guy comes out and immediately starts yelling at me, telling me he is the owner, trying to be intimidating, he wasn't, he's a loud mouth jerk. I told him the situation and then he informed me he was they guy I spoke to on the phone and that I gave authorization to change the other axle. We went back and forth arguing about that because he was lying. He told me the axles were in the dumpster and that I could go crawl around in there to find them. I can't write what I said to him and told him if he didn't immediately get those axles for me he I would be talking with the DMV about this, he got one of his guys to get them. Upon inspection I looked at the axle shafts and indeed one was very worn were the bearing had failed and definitely had to be replaced. The other axle was in pristine condition with absolutely no worn area but this guy the owner kept pointing to the area were it should of been worn and telling me it was worn. I could run my hand over it and there were no indentations, scratches, worn areas at all. He continued to insist it was worn and called the mechanic over and asked him to confirm and of course he did. They both lied. I told him I wouldn't pay and he said then you don't get your Jeep back until you do. I was livid but had to pay. Wanted to take him to small claim court but really it was not worth the time. So in my opinion I would never never suggest to anyone they have this garage/shop do any work on your vehicle! read more
