    Inspection happening!
    Jen T.

Called they got me in quick Xavier was awesome. Just needed car inspection and the guys were very quick professional. Great experience. Appreciate you guys!

Not skilled at completing a basic brake service or reinstalling something as simple as a wheel cap. Not attention to details when putting a truck back together. Missing basic parts. Took truck into Kwik Kar a few months ago because it was making a noise around the axle. The "mechanic" which supposedly not all of the guys are mechanics, claimed that there was a part of the rotor that someone shaved off on the wheel assembly that may be making the noise. After further research and taking it to another shop, discovered that the notch was intentionally shaved off my the manufacturer during installation and had nothing to do with the noise and was supposed to be that way. The "mechanic" had no idea what he was talking about. At that same time, the mechanic was assessing the noise, he replaced the rotors and brake pads as my brakes were also making noise. Once the brake job was completed, the squeaking still continued. I thought maybe it was rear brakes causing the noise. I eventually took the truck to an actual Toyota dealer and they failed the front brakes when doing a complete inspection. I was instructed to take the truck bad to the mechanic who installed the brakes prior to them working on it. When I took the truck back to Kwik Kar, I was told that nothing was wrong with the brakes, but it may be some dust causing the noise. He said that they could order some "hardware" and that may stop the issue. The employee cleaned the brakes and it stopped the noise for one day. Two days after I left, I noticed the front cap to my wheel was missing. I called and the same employee said that the cap was put back on the truck. His only excuse was that I did not notice it for 2 days. That next morning, I noticed the other cap was also missing. So, either both caps fell off or either someone stole 2 of the caps but left the other 2 which doesn't make sense. Or, the employee didn't put them back on. Several days later, after trying to contact a manager for 4 days, I went to the shop. The same employee's only excuse was pointing out the time frame that I noticed they were missing. After an escalated interaction with him and him telling me that I will be waiting all day for a manager, another employee helped me look for the caps and they were no where to be found. So, either they were misplaced or more than likely thrown away. I finally get a call back from the manager and he sends me a very difficult to see video claiming that the employee put them both back on. After watching the video, it looks like he pressed the caps on, but doesn't actually pop them on with any type of force. I do not know how difficult it is to properly pop back on a wheel cap, but they both likely fell off on my way home. So, now not only do my brakes still make noise, but I am out $100 because I have to replace the 2 wheel caps out of pocket. The manager emails me back that there is only one way to put a cap back on. I am happy that it is only two wheel caps that I am having to replace. If there is only one way to do something is the managers excuse, I would hate to have to dispute any type of major repair.

Very fast service, excellent employees. They checked my tires, cleaned my windows, replaced my wiper blades, changed my oil, and put in windshield wiper fluid, and cleaned the outside of my car. They also vacuumed the inside of my car, all for under $100. This is a great deal, plus good prices, and very friendly, they also show you the bill and how much everything costs. Great waiting area as well. Would return!

The wait was minimal, the customer service was excellent, and the overall process was smooth. Jordan was the first to assist me and noted that I can park my vehicle in the back and leaving the keys in the car. I went into their lobby area, where I was able to enjoy one of their refrigerated water bottles. The room is small and I managed to pass the time while working on my laptop. (#1) 10 minutes into the wait, my vehicle was ready. Michael was helpful in explainig the process to me and the total cost was $18.50. He provided the paperwork that I needed for proof and I was out of the door. The only reason I can't give them a 5 star? They left my car running outside of the garage unattended for at least several minutes while I was chatting with them in the office. Anyone could've walked up from the street and taken the vehicle. I'm feeling fortunate that it wasn't the case. ___________ (#1) No free WiFi that I could find.

(We no longer see the guys who worked there for years...these guys all seem new.) 1. In December, they did not reattach the underpanel and had to call us to come back so they could put it back on. 2. In December, I took my car for an inspection and they tried to tell me that my BRAND NEW wipers (we always change our own) wouldn't pass inspection unless we changed them out (by buying them there, of course LOL). We left and got the car inspected elsewhere. On my most recent oil change, they noted that my wipers are in "great shape." 3. I took my car to get the oil changed on Wednesday since I was going on a road trip. This morning, I discovered that YET AGAIN the underpanel was not attached properly. I'm sorry, but changing the oil on a vehicle is literally the most basic of processes and is the major reason for a place like Jiffy Lube to exist and if you can't do that properly and consistently... After decades of trusting this Jiffy Lube and recommending it to friends and family, we will not be going back because if they can't change the oil without an issue, Lord only knows what else they are messing up. Wanted to warn others as well...

He initially brought out a rectangular filter that clearly didn't fit, followed by a second option that was approximately the correct size but significantly thinner and flimsier than the filter he removed. He proceeded to install the two flimsy filters, discarding my old ones, and charged me $25 apiece ($34.99 each less a $10 coupon for each). About two hours later, while driving home, my car suddenly went into limp mode (maxing out at 12 mph) and the check engine light came on. This was incredibly distressing. I managed to limp the car to a gas station and immediately suspected the ill-fitting air filters were to blame. Because the flimsy filters did not seat properly in the cradle, particulate matter bypassed the filter and coated my Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensors, triggering limp mode. I was able to limp the car home and confirmed the issue with an OBD2 scanner. Fortunately, I am fairly handy. I went to AutoZone and purchased the correct filters that firmly press into the housing and create a tight seal, along with MAF sensor cleaner. After cleaning both sensors and installing the proper filters, the check engine light and codes cleared. Had I not been able to diagnose and fix this myself, I would have had the car towed to a service center and Take 5 would be looking at a reimbursement request for hundreds of dollars in towing and diagnostic fees. On Saturday, I returned to the Take 5 location with the improper filters placed in the STP filter boxes. I showed the technician and the duty manager the difference in fit, explaining how a loose filter allows particulates to bypass the system. I reinstalled the improper sized filter and showed the tech how it loosely fit in the air box and then showed how the proper filter fit snug in the box, held in place by the angled cradle pressing against the angled sides of the filter. The tech initially stated that the filters he installed were the ones called for by the computer; however, when he installed them I watched him try two different size filters to see which fit better. Clearly, if he had the right filter he would not have had to do so and would not have clearly looked different from the filters that were removed. The manager spoke with the tech, checked the part numbers of the filters I had purchased, and in all spent half an hour going back and forth between the computer and the phone. Finally, she stated that because the transaction occurred the day prior, the district manager would have to reverse the charges. I was told to expect a text from the district manager once the credit was issued. She stated this would be done on Saturday (4/18/2026). Today (Tuesday), I have received no text and no credit to my account. On Monday (4/20/2026) I sent an email with the above details to Take 5's customer service email. I have not received a reply or even an acknowledgement of receipt. I am extremely frustrated by the runaround and the lack of communication. I cannot trust Take 5 after this experience. I would have respected them if they had simply admitted they didn't have the correct parts rather than shoehorning the wrong item into my vehicle just to make a sale and causing me so much distress. Instead of asking to be reimbursed for my time and the extra materials required to fix the mistake, all I was asking for was a refund for the cost of the incorrect air filters. I still haven't received a reply.
