My first time at a JiffyLube and I had a great experience. Calvin helped me out and advised what I needed done. I came in for a state inspection and oil change. Calvin showed me what services needed attention so I ended up getting new brake fluid and new filters. I am at 94,000 miles and I'm trying to keep up with maintenance so I knew it needed to be done. They did charge me $20 for a tire rotation when I never asked for it. I thought I heard that he was going to do it for free but charged me anyways. Oh well. But He did ask if I had any coupons but since I didn't, he let me scan a QR code to get a coupon and saved me about $75. Everyone was very friendly and funny lol. The maintenance plan on my BMW expired at the dealership so we decided to take it to Jiffy Lube for the oil change. They indicated they would also top off the fluids and air up the tires as part of the service. As I was about to leave, I noticed the tire light was still on and sometimes you have to drive for a moment for the settings to reset but I asked one of the guys there and he said they did not do it and he was going to take care of it, which he did. I drove off and they reset, I was glad. I left the location and went to Trader Joe's on Westheimer to run some errands and when I returned to my vehicle, it wouldn't start because they had the keys at the shop! For some reason they were taken out of the cupholder and they knew they had the keys and they knew they were mine, but they didn't call me. I had to call them and then wait almost 1 hour for them to bring them to me which was about a mile and a half from that location. I was glad that they were able to bring them to me but not happy that this happened. Over the next few days I noticed the oil light was coming on! It kept indicating that it was low, which made no sense. But then I really got alarmed when it indicated on the screen that it was critically low. My husband brought it back on Saturday a week after I had the initial service and they tightened up something and I think they added a quart but the same afternoon the light went off again and said oil is critically low! At home, we were able to figure out how to read the oil level, there is no dipstick. It's all digital on the inside info screen. It was literally in the red. I don't even know if they changed the oil or not and they pushed me to get the most expensive synthetic during my initial visit. I went with the middle grade, but did they do it? I don't know. It makes no sense. So when I bought it back again the same day that my husband did and only a week after the first service, one of the main gentleman, I don't know his name, came out with a little bit of an attitude, and he added yet some more oil in there, some oil of some sort - it wasn't in a marked can so I have no idea what brand it was or synthetic if it was? Then he also topped off the coolant which he said we should've been done the week before. As I was leaving, he looked on the ground and saw that there was some leakage, and he told me that it was oil! But then one of his coworkers bent down and indicated that it was just the coolant, it must've overflowed. I just felt even though most of the guys there were super nice, the service was terrible. I will never go back. I will go to the dealership from now on even if I have to pay more. read more

I've been bringing my '04 Tahoe and ancient suburban to these guys going back to 2011. I've never had any problems with oil changes or yearly inspections. They are super efficient and kind. Nathaniel had offered to replace & install a low-beam light, free of charge since he said he's trying to find his footing along the mechanical side of things. I also had to get an inspection since my registration hasn't been current, allotted us half off of that price since my brake pads were 3/4 of the way from being completely gone & all 4 were fixed. Colt is helpful, easily understood as he explains what's going on & what they'll be doing to said vehicle. Been having problems with my engine so cane in for a tuneup and James Was extremely helpful and nice. He quoted me a very reasonable price compared to the other two previous auto shops I went to. I decided to let them work on my car. James called me to let me know that I need additional work and parts for my engine and he quoted me out a fair price so I let them go ahead and do that. They actually finish my car pretty quick and like two hours. I got a call that they were finished so they were pretty fast. So far so good! Good customer service as well. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! I went for a $25 inspection and left with a bill near a grand. All they said was my brakes would fail the inspection so they changed all four brakes which is fine but they didn't even apply it right and my car feels like I can't even drive it past 50 mph. Then proceeded to maintenance my car to upcharge me such as cleaning my headlights, changing air filter, and all the extra stuff I could've done myself. They don't ask to do anything either they just do it and charge you after. Leave this place alone. read more

I have a VW beetle , I let a young man by the name of Tim do my oil change, Saturday March 26, 2022 , when he changed the oil on my car, he put too much oil and also didn't put the correct parts back where they were suppose to go. When I brought the car back on the 27th they told me they couldn't do anything but to come back Monday. I come back Monday and the GM had every excuse in the book to why it wasn't their fault. When the young man went to get my car he put my beetle in reverse without turning the Engine on. Kept changing gears WHILE MY CAR WAS STILL OFF! When I asked them to look at my car again because they are the ones that caused the issue. I just want my car fixed from The damages your men caused with no issues or excuses!!!! read more

By far the worse service, technicians, inspectors of any auto maintenance places, and there are some really bad shops but this place takes the cake.. they will fail your inspection if you decline their "recommendations" not "requirements" to pass and then still charge you the fee.. they charge $99+ for the most basic oil change, robbing honest people of their hard earned money and still do not complete the work correctly, like leaving caps loose and not installing the engine filter back correctly, mistakes that rookies make and not professionals.. to say the least, will not be returning and highly recommend for any to NOT spend their money here. read more

This is the Jiffy Lube location I come to the most often. It is consistently fast and friendly. On my most recent stop for an oil change, the wait was about 30 minutes, but I understand because they seemed to be understaffed. Once it was finally my turn, the whole oil change process took about 15 minutes. There is water and coffee available for customers while they wait, which is nice. All of the employees here are also nice. Keep in mind that this is a chain, so they will try to up-sell you on other services, but they aren't pushy about it if you say no. The employee that was helping me actually printed everything out that is suggested for my car, rather than pressure me to get services other than the oil change I came in for. Also, Groupon usually has an offer for Jiffy Lube that you can purchase, which brings the oil change to about $30 (rather than the $45 original price.) read more

I went in for a simple oil change. I specifically told the guy to please top-off my wiper fluids because they were low. Go back to pick my car up, pay and drive off to find out, no wiper fluid. Returned it to have my my wiper fluid filled. As I'm driving off this time, I can hear something being dragged underneath my car. I bring it back to find out they did NOT completely reattach my slip plate under the car and now its bent. When they try to fix it, they break it! Now I'm beyond pissed!! Marquis explains that they will have to replace it but the part will have to come from Honda ( on their dime, of course!) When I explain to him what subpar work this is, he tells me I really don't need it. I told him it came with the vehicle so clearly it's needed. I won't be going back to this location. The people were pleasant enough, but they failed my car on the state inspection because of low brake fluid. They recommended $100 brake fluid flush service. I took the car home, and the fluid level was half way between Min and Max. Hmmmm. Anyway, I purchased some brake fluid and filled to near Max. When I returned to have the inspection passed, the attendant told me State Law requires the brake fluid level to be within 1" of Max. I think he made it up (or Jiffy Lube trains their people to say this), and they just want to sell additional services that are not needed. Not to this customer. read more

Amazing service!! People here are really personable and not trying to hustle you. Indoor waiting area is clean and cool. My oil light has been going off at 2,000 miles for over a year now. Every place I've gone to just does my oil change. Here they came in and said I didn't need an oil change for another 1,000 miles. I told them what had been happening and they gave me a free top off (included with all oil changes), reset my oil light and sent me on my way without trying to charge me for a new oil change. Another excellent oil change & transmission fluid done by these guys. They're very knowledgeable and were kind enough to tell me that my front light passengers side was going out. Further as well as letting me know of a noise that my Car had so that I could go somewhere to get it checked. I hadn't noticed till he brought it to my attention I gave them a coupon and deducted that from my cost and all went well. They went further & vacuum my vehicle.. I been getting my oil change at this places for years but I won't be returning to this location. Very dishonest to their customers with the things that needs to be fix and the prices. They told me that I needed to change oil filter housing because it old and it's stuck and not coming off. They told me they had it stock and it would only cost me $76. They were pressuring me into either take my car out and figure out where to get it for cheaper or buy their. I made the decision to not go forward and left. I was worried about my car that I still need to do an oil change. Called several places and decided to go to a different jiffy lube just to be sure. I went to the memorial one and told them what other location had told me. Those guys tried and were able to pop the cap off on 1 push. I was so relieved and was able to do get an oil change there. This Westheimer/dairy Ashford location needs to be honest and do the rights. Stop stressing people and try to take more money out of their pocket. Very unhappy. read more

To my surprise, the gentlemen working this location were extremely respectful, courteous and helpful - even at closing time! Daryl Smith and his crew were super friendly and did the work quickly. I totally just got ripped off at this place! They charged me $83.00 for an oil change, an oil change! I drive a Kia soul and I have NEVER paid more than $40 for an oil change, even at the dealership! The receipt says it was a signature service and that they washed and vacuumed my car and did all this extra stuff that they did not do!
