The mechanics are nice and polite but, customer service is terrible, from the guy at the desk, i wish I remembered his name, not to sound racist but he is white, and I think he's the owner or sub owner, but I am certain that he is an immature idiot and talks a lot, The mechanic named Lee, politely told me they do not accept customer parts which is fine but That other dude, straight assumed a lot of things, and insulted me because I excused my self as being on the phone with the IRS, he claimed I was lying about my phone call and I was trying to play victim just to get my car serviced, he went on further to insult me called me poor because I brought in my own part, from the dealership. They did offer a free loaner in case they were not able to. The repair work seems to be good, they definitely fixed the issue and didn't try to sell me unnecessary services or repairs. This earned them a 5 star from me. 3 year warranty on parts. They offered a ride after drop off but I took uber. From all I could tell, this place seems to be fair and does honest work. I did get quotes from other shops for the repair job which were lower, but I decided to come here based on the location and positive reviews. I can now include my own positive review. They are certified & do charge a $69 diagnostic if needed & they don't drop the charge but they worked some stuff out by doing extras i wasnt even aware of until later so i am okay with that! Professional, friendly & have done a great job every time ive been. Follow up: State inspection. They are always professional here & do not half ass it. They charge diagnostic fee on occasion but I trust their diagnosis. Previously attempted to go across hwy 6 to carrpro for my inspection today to save time, where i was ignored, misdirected & when finally got the guy for inspection to come out. Raul, Jeff, Frank, and everyone here is just awesome! I'm so happy to have finally found this shop. I needed new tires, and my friend told me about Tire Rack. When you order online, you can choose from a list of service providers to have your tires shipped to or ship them home. I chose to ship them to a shop, and I chose Auto Check from the list. I just needed my tires replaced and an alignment done. I had no expectations, but I wound up highly satisfied with my visit. Not only was everyone courteous and personable, they also were not pushy. I bought 4 tires but ended up only needing 2. They were totally cool with it and even held on to my other 2 tires for me until I could pick them up. They found some other issues while working on my car, so they called me to let me know. My oil sticker was way overdue, and my front brakes are low. I actually had just changed my oil myself, and I also had bought parts already to replace my front brakes myself. I told them I didn't need those things done, and they simply said okay and did not try to convince me that there was a dire need for another service to be done. They're very transparent, just like all their windows. The best part is that they offer a complimentary shuttle service. If you work or live near the shop, they'll drop you off and pick you up. On the other hand, if you wait there, the building is big and clean with plenty of comfy looking chairs to sit and watch TV or watch the guys work. Amazing guys, amazing service, amazing shop. Scheduled my Appointment for today first thing which is 7 am . I brought my car in cause my head lights kept going out on me then they would come back on . So I needed to get them checked out cause I can't be driving like that . Good way to get pulled over . I brought my car in and with the help of Jessica and Julio they figured it out my connectors are bad . They order the parts and they estimated two hours till arrive . I decided to wait and hang out at the shop due to my luck with my cars . But they offer either a loaner car here that you can take and bring back while your car is under going repairs or they have a person that can drop you off and pick you up as well. I just heard that if your car needs to be left here for a day or two they let you use the rental for however long . After the parts arrived they fixed me up and put my bumper back on with no issues . I brought my car here to get a 2nd opinion after taking it to another shop and i'm so glad I did. Not only were they much cheaper than the first place I went to, I feel they fixed it the right way and not just trying to throw a bunch of parts in there to make extra money. And since he knew how much my first estimate was he could have easily screwed me and charged about the same and I would have never known the difference, but he didn't and that to me speaks volumes.. Also the work they did comes with a 3 year warranty whereas the first place I went only offers a 90 day warranty. Since I wrote my originsl review in 2012, practically everything this place fixed on my car had to be redone. Also they are grossly overpriced. For instance, they gave me an estimate to replace the rear brakes on my 2006 Honda Element. It was over 700. I took it elsewhere and got it done for 250. Also, the first thing they do is charge you 80 to put your car on the diagnostic machine. I really don't care for that practice even though it might be standard. I'm not sure. Previously they would waive that charge if you got your car repaired there after the diagnosis. Looking back at my receipts, I can see that I was charged a premium price for new certified Honda parts, but I receive remanufactured parts , ask stated on my receipt . I asked if they were Honda Certified parts at the time of the repair & I was told they were. But I was not told they were remanufactured. I have a warranty on a part they replaced and now I have to have it replaced again. I am taking it to another mechanic because I will end up paying less by buying the part again than taking it back to Autocheck and not having to pay for that part again. I have receipts to back up everything in this review. Check your options before you go here. 2012 review..... I brought my vehicle here 10 years ago and they really impressed me. I have recently moved back to the area and I am pleased to see it is still the same. The guys in the front are very professional and a pleasure to deal with. They keep you informed at all times. I have never had a problem with any of the work performed here. The waiting area is the best of any type of automotive service facility I have been to. Its clean. There are interes ting books and comfortable sofas. Also, its very peaceful with no blaring daytime TV. This place is top notch! read more

Yelp said this place is great. Okay. I walk in at 8:30am on a Wednesday morning and there were no other customers there. I needed an inspection and I saw they do car wash as well so I asked for both. ETC was an hour and a half. They offered to take me home and pick me up when it was done. I said sure I can get some laundry done. I was dropped off my home at 845 and I live 5mins away. I called at 11 and asked about my car and they said they are just starting to vacuum and it will be another 20mins and they'll send someone to get me. I didn't get picked up until almost noon. It threw off my whole morning schedule. I took a day off from work to get stuff done. I woke up early and I got to this place early enough to get this crossed off my list before lunch. I was expecting it to be done by 11 at least. The people were very nice, Sergio was kind enough to drive me back and forth. Next time, I'm just going to wait it out on the couch in their waiting area. Probably a quicker service that way. read more

I was impressed with the effort that they put forth to be honest and not charge for unnecessary repairs and service. They also pointed out that the previous work done on my truck by some other mechanic was done incorrectly and I was shocked to see that the parts were not what the other mechanic charge me for, on my receipt. I still bring our cars here almost every other month for something. And every time they're consistently great, not just with the work the do but more importantly their service. Yesterday, I brought my car in for an oil change and they let me know I would need front brake pads changed soon. I asked if there was any way they could do it the same day but within 3 hours because I'm hardly at my office anymore. They did. And not only that, they completely went above and beyond any of my expectations. (My expectations of them are already so high since they've consistently been amazing) I can't recommend them enough! They tell you one thing on the phone and don't honor their word. The owner had the nerve to tell me don't come back to his facility because I stood my ground. The service person said the diagnostics charge of $99.99 would be waived if they do the repairs. They didn't even state to me how much the diagnostic would cost... found out by looking at the bill. On top of that they didn't tell me that my oil cooler seals to filter housing was leaking... which is under warranty with them. I had to read the bill to find that out.... they only mention changing all 6 coils and spark plugs because that where it would cost the most. I looked at my receipt before leaving after I charged the repair on my credit card. I ask to credit and honor, but they wanted to argue with me on why I should pay for it, I told them, they won't get paid, because I will dispute charges with my credit card. The owner was so pissed at me, he finally gave me $100 cash and told me not to bring my car back. In return I told him that I will be bring it back if anything go wrong with my car from previous repairs. The owner really showed his other side. I've never been charged a diagnostic charge from BMW or Auto Check as long as they did the repairs. Why is it they try to play a woman. They don't have to worry about me, unless it a warranty issue. Their prices are reasonable & they told me they even do warranty checks, which is a blessing since going to the dealer is painfully long and expensive.
