Manager came out,. I explain to him that the car needed new engine. He asked me turn car and Let's see. Said I don't think so. I told him I was going to get it towed. Just like I told the young lady when I called before going up there. Convinced me to let him take a look. I didn't purposely overheat near this shop if you check the camera we pushed the car to nearest parking lot, happen to be this establishment. Also said no worries we will work a 90 day payment plan with you. When we spoke you said we only needed 2 things. Pictures attached. Until we went over about the leak. Same leak mention in the parking lot. How the car overheated because there was no oil due to the leak. So we could've paid $1300 to "fix" the car if I didn't remind him about the leak. We would've been in the same position every other mechanic put us in. This place should've caught it if you did full diagnostic and mentioning it to him. I'm a mother of 3, one with a disability. I really give people so much grace. This is absurd. We only gave it a go since it was 2 things that "needed to be repaired". Now we're here, Mr. Cedric said that would get us back on the road. Remember that? It won't. Now you're charging almost $7k for engine. That we so called didn't need. That I knew we needed. Very beginning when I told the Manager was going to just tow the car. When another shop only charged me $480 for new starter and labor. Offering free starter only if I was to get the repairs done. I know very well how long it takes and how much the part it,l'm very well versed. Never had an issue making payment, it was all the false pretense working with the price and parts and labor, we would've gladly paid 4k for this work. 6700 when the car isn't even worth 4k just wasn't worth it for us. Feel like this auto repair will try to get over. Be careful they'll try to sell you on we have "90 day payment plans, we'll work with you". Then I receive a message like this. I came in for a simple oil change and they did 100 different things I didn't ask for were very rude. Left my seats all the way back in the car left my dashboard on something I've never seen before very unprofessional will never come back. read more

So I went to Jiffy Lube at first to have my AC looked at because it wasn't blowing cold air....I thought maybe it was needing either a new fuse, freon was low or needing it to recharge...however the lingo is...but Jiffy Lube at the Dairy Ashford location didn't do them there....so I headed out and went to PTAC...I went to them long time ago when I had my Dodge Durango and surprise surprise they still had me in their system....so upon telling them what was going on about the AC...they pulled the car in and diagnosed that yes my freon was low, no blown fuse but my compressor was not working properly...oh how my face dropped...I wasn't expecting that but the manager Cedric showed me and broke it down for me...so overall they told me the price gave me options even with the military discount its expensive....I need cars to be built stronger were they don't have issues until it reach a certain mileage...but got it fixed and now it's blowing freezing air...the customer service is excellent the respect is there the bathroom is clean and they get you in and out....love it... read more

Went for my inspection on Wednesday 05/01/24, failed because I had to get two things fixed in order to pass: windshield wiper blades (understandable) and brakes (shocked) I had not heard any problems with my brakes. Took my car to get inspected at another shop on 05/03/24 and passed. No mention of brake problems. Receipt said that brakes would be $459 but the guy that checked me out said that it would be $409 plus tax with a discount they were running. I declined. He asked "you don't have time to get the work done today?" And I responded no. Will not go back and will stick to driving to my usual place. Be aware. read more

I've been having my oil changed here for several years. They frequently run specials, and the service is always great. Today I had them do a transmission drain and refill. I had a coupon from them making it almost half the normal price, and since my SUV has over 178,000 miles on it, it seemed like a good idea. After they finished the refill, they took it out for a test drive to make sure everything was OK. When the tech returned, I noticed he put it back on the rack, and saw him roll the drain over to the bay again. A few minutes later, the manager came over to show me a photo of the drain plug. The magnetic plug was COVERED with metal shavings. He said that they were going to drain it and refill it again, to get as much of the metal shavings out as they could. They did the whole thing twice, at a discount - no extra charge. Top-notch service! I can't think of any reason to go anywhere else. read more

Went up there to get an estimate for a tuneup and engine coils and the guy didn't even look at my car or run a diagnostic just gave me some bs estimate (not even my correct car info on the report) and tried to charge me almost $800!! Half of that cost was for labor ($360) took my car right up the street to jiffy lube where they did everything in less than 2 hours for about $200 less. I've been coming to this location for a few years now. Every time I come for service, I'm always treated respectfully with top tier service. Also their price is the best for full synthetic oil changes. With my most recent experience, Ariana went above and beyond to inform me of things in dire attention for my vehicle. She throughly explained what I needed to make priority and why, answered any and all questions, and she completed my service for that day extremely quickly. Although I've moved from Houston, I drove and will drive from Baytown just to be serviced at this location. I have zero complaints, and I would recommend service at this location to anyone! read more

i came in to get my oil changed battery tested and tires rotated and they are amazing i travel from hiram clark to come here because i don't want anyone else servicing my car. they are very professional fast and those service price is reasonable i only paid 70 bucks for all of that. read more

I love this place , when everyone else wanted to charge me $100 for an oil change they did it for $45 . They don't talk to you like you're stupid because you're a woman like a lot of these auto places . I needed a new battery and took it to AutoZone (on Dairy Ashford) and they told me they could not get to my battery but if I bought it from them I could take it to Precision and they could install it. Luckily I did not buy the battery from AutoZone and drove to Precision. They quickly looked at my car and said that it was an easy install and able to get to the battery very easily and were very friendly! Their battery was actually at a better price and were able to install it. Precision Tune Auto Care was honest, priced well and very friendly! went to get an oil change today & the african american man working at the front desk was very rude upon arrival. i tried to use my coupon for a discounted oil change, which he took, scanned & proceeded to have me sign the paper work. i was sitting waiting patiently & the man proceeded to tell me that i couldn't use my coupon after i had already been approved & signed the paperwork. im sure it was an honest mistake with the coupon, but he started to raise his tone after i had asked "why the coupon couldn't be used bc it hasn't expired" & he proceeded to have a MAJOR attitude & started to YELL at me when i simply asked a question. he said "ive only been working here 3 days" & continued to say that im catching an "attitude" with the wrong person after i said that it was fine, ill come back another day. when i had asked for my keys back, the guy rudely yelled at his coworkers to get my car out of the shop & turned to me with a very nasty glare while proceeding to yell at me that i was the one with an attitude. will never bring my business back here & will never recommend this shop to anyone! Shouldn't take so long for an oil change, tried this place out due to a Groupon and my usual place wasn't available. Came for just a simple oil change, ended up getting a talk about other parts of my car that wasn't asked of them to inspect or checkout as an up sell, maybe thought it was an easy advantageous moment for them since I am a female so do have caution with the things that they say to you once they begin to service you, also gentleman at the receptionist was incredibly rude for no apparent reason and attitudes change definitely even more when you reject their upsells read more

I can honestly say I thank God we stopped at this shop for my cars suspension repair. A few days ago we had Firestone work on it and we spent too much money and they quoted me a high price to replace a suspension part. Well we decided to hold back and get a second opinion. And WOW! Great Customer service! I went into precision 40 minutes before close after having been told to wait 2-3 hours at Firestone even with an appointment to have an oil change and tire rotation. The manager at Precision Ivan was able to take care of the oil change in less than 15 minutes and get me scheduled for a tire rotation at a later date. They went the extra mile to take care of my auto care needs even without an appointment. 10 out of 10 would recommend! read more

Didn't even make it in. Got on the phone with, I believe he said his name was able... or however it's spelt. But told him I had a question. I asked if I had my own oil and oil filter if they offered a service that I could have them change it. Instead of just saying no, I guess he was having a bad day or he hates his job or he dislikes his life, because he decided to give me a smart ass answer of "if you go to Denny's with your own eggs they are going to still charge you to eat there". What a jagaloon. So I decided to call 3 more places. ALL OF WHICH OFFERED THAT SERVICE AT A DISCOUNTED RATE. So I'm just gonna assume this guys is just an all around bad person and is sick of life so he takes it out on other people. This use to be my go to spot for the last 4 years. The last three times I've been something new is always wrong with my truck. This time I was told a filter was missing. I found this place through Groupon. Was a little hesitant because I live in downtown and this place is out near the energy corridor - but I figured the extra time I'm forced to wait at places in Houston due to how busy they tend to be would make the drive worth it. Called in at 8:08 in the morning, and Abel told me he could get me right in... music to my ears! I head that way and arrive to be greeted by Abel, who is also the manager. He gets me right in, just like he said! It clearly states on Groupon that it is valid for up to 5 quarts of oil, and I have to pay the difference if I need more. My Volvo takes 6 quarts of oil, which each time I come in for an oil change I let that bit of information go in 1 ear and out the other hah! Abel - the gentleman he's been during what is usually a rather an annoying process (who likes getting oil changed?!) kindly takes covers the difference and gets me on my way - IN 30 MINUTES. About a few months ago I went to this place to get my oil change (which I usually do myself). When they did it they charged me for an extra quart of oil which I didn't need and they didn't ask beforehand if I wanted to go ahead with it. But even after that they charged me with a bunch of other stuff which again I didn't need and all I asked for was the oil change. On top of all of that they didn't screw in the oil filter housing/cap all the way so a good amount of the oil leaked out. Horrible place I wouldn't recommend it at all. read more

This place is GARBAGE! I usually do my own oil changes but decided to take advantage of what seemed like a great deal. Whilst performing my oil change, I SPECIFICALLY TOLD THE MECHANIC TO REPLACE THE CRUSH GASKET OR ELSE THE OIL PAN WOULD NOT SEAL!.... Guess what he didnt do, replace the gasket and I had to waste time coming back because the next morning there was a pool of oil under my car. THEY ALSO PUT THE WRONG OIL FILTER which immediately triggered my oil pressure warning. I tried telling them that this was not a problem before they touched my car, but without any proof there was no way to argue with these guys. The guy ran the diagnostics and suggested I had a faulty sensor. I foolishly believed him and only discovered the real issue (Wrong Filter) when performing my next oil change. Only god knows if this mistake will have an effect on the life of my vehicle. If I were you id pay regular price and not chance it with these half ass mechanics. read more

Do not go here. Slow and sloppy service Normally, I do minor maintenance by myself, but I came here because it was conveniently close to the gym. I needed a simple oil change. They upsold and tacked on a cabin air filter change. A pretty standard move, no problems yet. I agreed to the air filter since it was due for a change. They estimated my wait would be about 30 minutes. I said okay, and informed them I'd be across the street working out. I came back 1 hour and 15 minutes later and it's still not done. I wait another 30 in the lobby while they finish up my car and they argue with another customer. Fast forward about a year later and I go to check my cabin air filter and I find this flimsy paper filter jammed into the filter slot. The proper style filter is held in by a plastic housing. The one they installed has none and it's way too small. This small filter is still clean, because it's not filtering! All of the air just blows around it. They most likely didn't have the proper filter on hand, and just jammed in whatever would fit. To add insult to injury they installed the filter facing the wrong way. Be careful, I question the integrity of the employees. I came here for an inspection. A mechanic at Precision Tune Auto Care reported that I needed quite a few things that my personal mechanic said none of which I needed. The things consisted of transmission fluid, transmission filter, rear differential fluid, transfer case fluid, fuel injection cleaning, intake cleaning, brake fluid flush and a tune up. They also said my front brakes were at 50% and rear brakes were at 40%. Now mind you, I had all the brakes replaced less than 6 months ago and I drive less than 10 miles a day. My wipers were replaced less than 6 months ago and the mechanic at Precision Tune Auto Care said I needed those as well. He said that if I didn't get them replace by Precision Tune Auto Care before I left their business my state inspection would not pass. When I questioned him about the condition of my wipers he stated that they had micro cuts on them. I felt pressured to allow him to replace them because the mechanic there told me I would not be able to come back until the next day and they would have to start the inspection process all over again. I approved the service but asked him to give me my old wipers for my own inspection. I watched another mechanic take off the old wipers replaced them with their wipers and put my old wipers in the new box. That same mechanic saw me watching the process. He stepped away from my car and out of my view for 5 minutes. He came back with some wipers and placed them in my car. When I got in my car I pulled out the old wipers and inspected them. Both wipers appeared to have had the rubber pulled away from the blades at one end. I use Lexus parts on my car. We have had rain for about 2 weeks on and off and my blades were perfectly fine. Something does not feel right about this entire process and I will not be going back. Use caution when going here. read more

I wish I could give less then 1 star. I took my car in for the yearly inspection. They had the nerve to tell me that I needed front and back brakes. Here is my issue, less than a month ago I took my car to the dealership for service. At no times did the dealer say I needed brakes. So I took my car back to the dealer and guess what the dealer said? THE DEALER INFORMED ME THAT I DO NOT NEED BRAKES!!!!! This place is a scam and I am going to the Texas Dept of Transportation and tell them of my experience. And I also found out that brakes are not supposed to be inspected..... read more

I was excited to give this place a try but ended up leaving very disappointed. I received an oil change & new wiper blades. Luckily, I was there to watch them & when they told me my car was ready, I reminded them of items that weren't done like my windshield wipers, air in my tires, etc. They handled it but only after I had to mention it. My fiancé also took his car at the same time, he did the synthetic oil change package through groupon. We decided to come back to pick it up, when we returned about 2 hours later his car was parked unlocked & windows down in the parking lot near the street. This is a high traffic area & he had a bag in his car, not sure why they wouldn't make sure it's secure. He goes in& is charged extra as the groupon only covers a specific amount of oil. This is very misleading & should have been mentioned prior. I decided to call the manager at the store to let him know my experience so it could be resolved for others. He was unreceptive and made excuses for everything. He was very dismissive& rude towards me. Disappointing experience & we won't be back. read more
