DISHONEST & DISRESPECTFUL Billy is unknowledgeable and a very fast talker. He installed a Transmission in my car and this took from November 14th till December 5th. He initiated no contact until December 5th. I called him one time for an update and his words were "Don't call me everyday I Tell you when your car through thank you" and hung up. The car is older and no updates usually means there is a problem finding the parts. Finally a message was left "your car is ready and I need the payment". When I picked up the car He told me Everything was fine. Clearly Not. The car Lunged into gear something my car has Never done so I told him again to check and he informed me, he and his guy both test drove the car 8 to 10 miles. He said You have a 1 Year warranty you can bring it back and I will look at to see what it is. Really you just told me that it was ready to pick up. I still had not left his shop and you're letting me know you couldn't care less. I took the car to the dealership to do a diagnostic test. The findings were the transmission installed was from a junk car and the serial numbers were scratched out making it impossible for the service department to trace it. They also informed me that the torque converter doesn't fit my car. I went to LOGANS to discuss the Print-out from the dealership. Billy argued back and forth and smugly said he would have to check it out to find what was wrong. The dealer told me what was wrong and I had a video from the service department. He stood behind the desk and smirked and said " I told you I have to look and see what's wrong you have to leave it". I asked for restitution for the faulty transmission and he let me know walking away he doesn't give refunds. At this point I was thru. All I can say is Billy is a Professional Liar and doesn't care about dealer service findings or videos. The money he stole and his junk parts are a Valuable lesson for whoever reads this. Billy the manager and the team here are honest and quick. I don't live near here and just needed to get my inspection taken care of. I knew that I had a parking light out and they only charged me $2.50 for a new bulb and labor. They were a pleasure to talk with and work with. If I lived near them they would be my normal vehicle maintenance team. I have worked in and around the auto maintenance crews for a long time and these guys are honest. Cars are more complicated than that used to be and sometimes want to repair is fixed other issues come up. This is usually a sign of a neglecting car and not a reflection on a maintenance company. I personally have had a couple vehicles that are giving me issues like some of the bad reviews left here. Please give them a shot for your business and you will not be sorry. I have come to Logan's Auto Repair for 1 year now. My husband has an older car and I have a 2014. Billy and his staff have always been kind and caring. They try their best to work with you and your budget. I had a horrible incident in which a kitty was stuck in my car and ruined a couple of belts. Billy and his staff ordered me a Tow and I was in his office 45 minutes after being stranded on the road. They were incredibly professional although it was an awkward situation and even kind to me when i became emotional at killing this animal. Upon arrival i was greeted by the manager Billy i came in for an inspection and during my time waiting billy kept a great conversation with me and another customer that had her car repairs. Have absolutely no customer service skills at all and are the epitome of dishonest. I went here to get my alternator replaced. I called the day before to get a price estimate, which I thought sounded fair. The next day when they called me to confirm that was the problem the price had magically doubled. I asked about it and was basically blown off and told that was the price. I went ahead agreed to have them do it since I didn't want to mess with it anymore. But worse was when they called me back they said my timing belt was "dangerously overdue" to be replaced and "they could hear that it was about to break." I had the timing belt replaced less than 25,000 miles ago. There is nothing wrong with it. So my estimate was off by over 100% and the technician tried to make me spend hundreds of extra dollars on a service that was completely unnecessary. Just another shop that will lie to you to try to get you to spend more money. I'll never spend another dime here. read more

My "Red Betty" is a 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Teams Edition approaching 100k miles with worn pads grinding down to my rotors and in dire need of some service. I was referred through a friend who highly recommended them and hands down, I'm glad I went to him instead of another option. Billy's shop was well organized, clean, and he carries a friendly, warm, and professional demeanor. Most importantly, he was very candid and transparent with his recommendations, quick to obtain all parts needed (Less than 24 Hrs) for the diagnostics, part replacements, and installations. All this, while providing me a loaner vehicle. Price + Labor was extremely reasonable and I am definitely one satisfied customer. Wife's car broke down, so we called Logan's for a tow. He was recommended to us. While waiting for the tow my brother in law figured out the issue. It was a relay that had gone bad. Since I had already called the tow I figured I would let them fix it. Tow was quoted $50.00. We drop it off at his place and the then says tow is now $75 with no explanation. He says it will cost $125 to diagnose the issue and if we get it fixed then that will come off the cost of the repair. I told him we are pretty sure it is the power supply reply under the dash and to please check this first. We dropped car off Friday night. He had car all day on Saturday and said he had no time to look at it. Monday he calls and says its a relay under the dash. I was thinking perfect, part cost $15 at auto-zone plus 10 minutes or less to replace. either way the repair should have cost under $125 so I figured $75 for tow plus the $125 minimum for the diagnoses. Monday night when we go to pick up the car he says it cost $550. He charged us for 5 hrs of labor at $90 p/hr $450 + $75 for tow + $25 for part. When I asked him what he did to the car he had no answer. He then said it was diagnoses. b/s. Either way we got into an argument and I got it down to $450. I am knowledgeable about car in general but especially my vehicles. I told him what the issue was and he took advantage of us. He couldn't even tell me what they did on the car for 5 hrs. (For the more mechanically inclined) Car was a VW Jetta 08 2.5. What happened was he allowed his mechanic to bill the job for 5 hrs of labor because it was a German car. Even though he spent way this than an hour on the car. Ripped Off DO NOT GO HERE. read more

DO NOT COME HERE TO GET YOUR CAR FIX!!! They SCAM!!!! I always get my car checkup regularly every year. I found this auto shop nearby my house and decided to give a try, and they told me these on my 1st visit: 1) tires are not even that I need a new set of tires, I was informed that they got me the best set of tires that costed $600 - I paid for this. 3 months later to found out from NTB and Discount Tires that those tires are one of the cheapest. 2) alignment - paid for this, but they did NOT do it. 3) needs to change brake fluid - I declined this - went to NTB the guy said brake fluid is good. 4) needs to change engine oil - I declined this too - same as above, my engine oil is fine according to NTB guy. I brought my car in again for balance and rotation which I'm sure they did NOT do..how? Because I marked each of my tires. Again, DO NOT LET THEM STEAL YOUR MONEY!!! read more

I called ahead and made sure they were willing to put a higher grade of oil into my car due to the engine having some issues and they agreed after asking me a few questions. Upfront pricing. Honest. I have been going here for a little over a year now. I have serviced both my cars, 2005 Lexus RX330 and 2013 Honda Odyssey Minivan. Both of these cars needed some major repairs. Such as, timing belt / water pump replacements, major brake work - lower control arm replacement, brake master cylinder; and some minor work like oil change and tune ups. He has contacts to different parts vendors, and he even shows you what he took out of your vehicle, so you can see exactly what was wrong. He tells you the price of the work before he even starts. Went to Logan auto to get my strut and engine valve gasket replaced and came back home with engine check light on and the engine jerk like it has never happen before. I couldn't prove if they did anything wrong to my car since I wasn't allow to the area where mechanic is working but they were the last people who opened up the engine, you be the judge of that. I ended up spend more money to fix the spark plug which I already had that serviced 1 year ago, and had to pay $40 for check engine light code reading when Autozone does it for free. Overall, their labor cost is about average, but they kill their customers by jacking up the parts cost by more than double. Don't be deceived by their claim about the parts are OEM, it's the best, or their 10% discount blah blah bla. Ask for the model and parts number! I bet you can get the exact same parts at nearby autozone or walmart for half the price. They charged me KYB front pair strut and mount for total of $370 and other places are selling the exact same parts for less than $200 total. Go elsewhere. Without going into too much detail they broke one of my tools, and kept me waiting 30 minutes for an alignment when the machine was open and they had the staff to do it. Told the guy at the front I was in a hurry and even called before coming in to make sure there was not a line to get an alignment, and they still took their time and didn't hustle to get me in and out. I have just 2 recommendations for you guys... 1. If you have some extra money and don't know where to waste it on, come to this auto shop. 2. If you love your car and don't want to waste any extra money fixing it, do me a favor and stay away from this place. My car was fully examined and checked by a relative (who is also a mechanic). In short, it was in a perfect condition and requires no additional maintenance. The next few days, I brought my car to these guys (due to a flat tire and they are just 3 minutes from my house) and BOOM, all sort of issues pop up ranging from "oil leaks" "un-even tires (1 tire is not round while another is ... Too squared???)" "brake fluid" etc.. etc... Since I was in a rush to go somewhere, I decided to take Billy's words on the tires issue and purchased a new set of tires. According to him, they are the "best tires in the market" which should cost me roughly $800. However, he'll give me a "special discount" and only charge $600 for a complete work. Not to mention, after the "brand new expensive" set of tires, my car vibrate and the steering wheel shakes violently every time going at high speed and the tires never get a good grip when driving under the rain. Feeling something isn't right, I did some researches later and found out the "best set of tires" I just purchased from Logan's auto shop are actually "average" and should cost only $400 or less including labor (according to discount tires). Lucky I was smart enough to not take on his offer to perform other services on my car. The bill could've sky rocketed to $2000+ easily on things never needed fixing. read more

this man , who is the owner was HIGHLY DISRESPECTFUL and envaded personal space . on top of that the disrespectful words he told my girlfriend about how our family is lower than his and he believes he is so much better than anyone else ... not only does he have a loud mouth but he wants to then ARGUE with us over the things we never told him to do . With no authorization he took our car apart and gave us a quote for 2k when we simply just asked what was best to do and that HE DID NOT REMOVE ANYTHING !!! he then holds our car now demanding a payment and said he can only go as low as $260 ... this man envaded space , talked down to us and our family , CHANGED THE DOCUMENTATION OF OUR CONTRACT AFTER WE SIGN IT and then requests money because the " labor " he did was so hard . the man literally took the part of in 5 seconds to rven tell us the issue . And if you are a woman he will taunt you , ask you to smile and be real wierd as he was to my girlfriend. He is unreliable, rude and just wants your money . We have VIDEO evidence of him yelling at my girlfriend and my aunt and they decided to leave because he was THAT MAD ....
