There was only two guys working. They were both Asian. He yelled out his window and said "hey egg roll, how much longer is this going to take" the young man was in disbelief. I told him he needed to tell that man to leave, because it was incredibly rude and racist for a black man to say to an Asian man something so heinous like that it was ridiculous but this young man said no I'm gonna take care of him anyway it couldn't have been me. He would've been out of my shop immediately that is ridiculous. This is now my second time coming to the shop and these guys have cars lined up and they are taking care of every single one of them and attending to every single one of them and asking them if they're OK if they mind waiting telling them how long it's gonna be they are great. All the other negative reviews supports their lack of care for service as well. Pitiful!

Billy and Martin worked on my car until it was repaired. Billy explained what he was doing so there was no surprises, like most auto mechanics love to do. At the same time, he fixed my rear brakes as well. Another customer has a car that needed repair and Billy stayed past closing hours to fix that car so they can have it for 4th of July weekend. If you are in the immediate Mission Bend area, you have a neighborhood mechanic right there that is honest, dedicated and understands how families depend on their cars for many needs. The one thing I really appreciate is that Billy will take you to the back and show you the issues and gives you the option if you want it fixed. Mechanics that are dishonest will not take you to the back where the car is being is repaired. Another thing I like is that he is also back there working on your car repairs as well.

I've seen them turn away money (thousands of dollars!) because they were honest and told someone they didn't need to do some of the extra work another shop (dealer) tried to upsell them on. I live in Katy and have several options MUCH closer, but I go to Upland because they have earned my trust. If you want to find a place you can trust to do great work, be honest & fair, and not rip you off, GO TO UPLAND! You will be glad you did.

I wasn't actively shopping for a car, and the last time I had contacted this dealership was over 60…read moredays earlier. A salesperson reached out to me off-system, from a personal phone, saying they "had a car for me." Naturally, I asked what car and what the price was. That's a normal response to sales outreach -- curiosity, not consent. While that informal conversation was happening, I received a real-time alert that my credit had been pulled. I never authorized a credit check, never said I was ready to move forward, and never submitted a new application. When I questioned it, instead of an explanation or apology, I was asked to send more personal documents despite clearly stating I wasn't ready. What made this worse was the lack of professionalism afterward -- defensiveness, shifting explanations, and no accountability. The entire situation stemmed from informal, off-system sales tactics being treated as implied consent, which they are not. This experience was confusing, inappropriate, and avoidable. I'm sharing it so others know to be very clear -- and very cautious -- when dealing with this dealership.
