Be cautious with this restaurant. They advertise a breakfast special for $5.99, two eggs, toast, and a cafe con leche, but it's time to pay, they claim that what you ordered isn't including the special. I specifically asked for the breakfast special, and the lady said I could add ham, bacon, or sausage to my two eggs that supposedly came with it. However, when the bill arrived, she said the medium coffee and the extra ham weren't part of the deal, bringing the total to $10.55 with tax. I paid the bill, but I won't be giving them my business again. This advertising is vague and feels intentionally misleading.

Honestly a really great Cuban bakery in West Kendall. It's crazy how affordable it is. My boyfriend and I got the #2 breakfast for $4.95. This came with scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, Toastada, and cafe con leche. The pastelitos are also very fresh. On a late Saturday morning the tables were a bit packed. But it's understandable, feed a family for cheap! Another thing is they have a lot of party deals so for $25 you can get 25 croquetas, 25 bocaditos, and 25 mini empandas. They also have combos that come with cake. This is definitely going to become a go to bakery for me.

Had a ham Croquetta and dear me was it yummy! The woman at the counter was very sweet especially when my friend had trouble speaking Spanish haha

This morning we went for a quick breakfast to the Bakery Cafe. This place is under a new management and I liked very much how well organized it was, impeccable tables and seating areas, as well as where they had the food placed. A nice lady was the one who helped us. We ordered: Cheese Tequeno; I didn't like the taste at all, my daughter, on the other hand, liked it. Pan de Bono; I liked it House Ham Croqueta; this was my favorite out of the three things we had. Great taste and I liked how it was seasoned. I would appreciate it if the food was warmed before serving it because ours was room temperature and I like my food hot and crunchy.

Best Bakery in the area, hands down! Even with new owners, the service and quality of food remains the same. It's a quick and easy stop in the morning. Parking is easy, they accept credit cards and cash. The prices are great as well! There's also hot foods here and they are open from morning to evening!

I was in the mood for some cuban pastelitos, so I decided to finally give this bakery a try as my cousin recommend it. When I first walked in the first thing that I notice was the amazing smell of all their pastelitos(yummy). There are some tables inside for you to eat there if you would like to. They have breakfast, milkshakes, coffees, sandwiches, and of course so many pastelitos(turnovers) to choose from. I personally got croquetas de jamon (ham croquettes) and cuban bread. Trust me I wanted to try everything because it all looked so good. Service is great, but the only thing I was confused about was the way you placed your order, as I didn't know if I needed to make a line or just stand there until they asked me for my order. It was somehow confusing as when I got there, there was no line and everyone was just standing there in no order, and people kept coming in and just standing looking at the two ladies that were taking orders. I'm guessing a lot of regulars because they will start speaking to the two ladies and placing their orders, so I decided to ask if there was a line to place the order and they said yes, so That's when people started getting in line. The ham croquettes were so delicious and so was the cuban bread. I have to point out that it all taste so fresh. I would definitely come back, the only thing that they could improve in is the ordering process which was kind of confusing if to make a line or not.

That bread was hard

The bread on the pan con lechón and the medianoche was too hard, the croquetas were ok, the cafe was good, and the pastelitos were good. Mixed bag here

I always get my pastelitos de queso from this bakery. My sister has had their steak sandwich and also raved about it. The staff is friendly and they serve the food quick. They keep the place extremely clean. If you're looking to pick up a quick bite to eat in West Kendall, this is the place. They have tiramisu, dulce de leche, pastelitos, croquetas, and an old favorite - tres leches. You name it, they have it all. We actually purchased some classic Cuban hors'douvres from here for my baby shower. The prices are very affordable and they have different packages depending on how many guests you want to feed.

My favorite bakery, not only are all the pastries fresh and flaky but the owner and all the employees treat you like family! They know I get an orange juice with ice, so that follows my good morning when I stop by in the mornings. She asks if that is what I will be having! They also have breakfast and sandwiches, everything is yummy!

Delicious!!!

All the essentials of a Cuban bakery here, and it's all delicious (especially earlier in the day, when the pastelitos are still fresh).

I knew when I saw the 4.3 Yelp rating and hundreds of great reviews, this was the place !! And it…read moresure lived up to its expectations... actually, it surpassed them! The hardest part about dining here was deciding what I wanted to order. I could have ordered the entire menu it looked so good! Helpful tip... check out the menu and know what you're going to order before you get in line. Otherwise you're going to be pressured to order at the front of the line. When you walk in, you place your order and pay for it and take a table number. You need to find your own table. Our service was pretty quick, despite how busy the restaurant was. My cold brew was very good and a nice start to the meal. Our guacamole came next and it was nicely styled with pomegranate, cheese and cilantro on top. Yum! The real star of the show for me was this unassuming looking House Club Sandwich that was to die for. Seriously ... it was so good. I ordered mine without the ham, and it was divine! I wish i lived closer. I'm already dreaming of coming back. My son ordered some kind of short rib/beef burrito and it disappeared so quickly I didn't even get to snap a photo. This is a perfect spot to enjoy a great meal, I highly recommend it. One thing I can say is that it's on the pricey side. $113 lunch for 2 added up super fast but it was well worth it. I'll be dreaming of that sandwich til my next visit!

I had been seeing a lot of great reviews about this place, so I was excited to try it, especially…read morethe tacos. I ordered the mahi mahi tacos, and while they tasted ok, the portion size felt pretty small for the price. Overall, it came across as a bit overpriced for what you get. The service style is more casual and self-directed. You order and pay at the register, get a number, and then find your own seat while they bring the food out to you. Water is self-serve, and once you're done with your meal, you just head out. There's minimal interaction with staff, which might appeal to people who prefer a more low-key, independent dining experience or want a place to sit and work without being interrupted. That said, the service did not feel very friendly or welcoming. And personally, I left feeling a bit underwhelmed.
