This iconic place was a must stop again. Service went fast and parking was easy on a Monday lunch time. The way of pulling a ticket for order of servicing was a mess. The croquetas were soft and not hot. I also got a tuna sandwich which was ok and great price.
Service is very fast and efficient. The pastries are to die for and the cafecitos are a must to try. There's not a lot of seating available and I recommend going during the week.
This was our first time trying Cuban food, and wow. We got a big mix of everything to try everything. The service was great. The prices were very affordable. It was a very cute and vintage vibe inside. I'd recommend doing a variety of samplers as well. The yucca fries were one of our favorite items. The sauces were phenomenal. The guava margarita rim reminded me of eating guava with salt as a kid. We ate left overs the next day, and even then everything tasted so good. Next time we're in Miami we have to come back!

If you're going to Miami, you have to stop at Versailles and make sure you hit the bakery! Everything is absolutely delicious. You can't go wrong with anything that has guava in it. The pastelitos are the best. Pair it with a café con leche made with evaporated milk, and you're in heaven. It can get busy, but they've got a ticketing system that keeps things moving smoothly. Versailles Bakery is a true Miami classic!
Bakery is right next to the famous Versailles restaurant. Same as the restaurant, the staff is super friendly. They got wide variety of baked goods. Juices, coffee and much more. They got indoor and outdoor seating. Love this place.
If you are a Miami native you know this place is number one - if you are visiting Miami stop by and have some desserts, a cortadito (half espresso and half evaporated milk) or a Materba you will love it. They are on 8th street. GO GO GO :)
I assume this has the same owner as the restaurant next door. I expected this bakery to have a long line, but it was not bad at all! You take a number (like at the fish market) to be served. This bakery reminded me of Porto's, the Cuban bakery in Los Angeles. You choose your items with the lady who is behind the glass, then she wraps up your goods, then you pay for it at the end. They accepted credit card. They serve coffee, and they had a separate line for online order pick ups. There was plenty of seating inside and outside. Their little tables and chairs are so cute.
Versailles seems like a gem in the Little Havana neighborhood! No matter what time a day we passed by it was packed either in the restaurant or bakery. I went on a Friday morning to get a cafe con leche evaporada and a guava and cheese pastry. Both were amazing! Although they were busy, you pull a number to be called that way you don't get lost in the hustle and bustle! I will definitely return to try some other items
Great selection of pastries and expresso coffee. We ate our pastries at sidewalk tables set up... wonderful for people watching! The pastry selection we chose were wonderful.
If you're looking for an affordable cuban pastry shop with lots of options then Versailles is where to go. This little bakery pumps out delicious goods. While in Miami I decided to check it out. We came on a weekday and it was busy. You grab your ticket number and wait to be called. During our wait I was impressed by the large variety of cakes, pies, pastries, and savory items. When it was our turn I went for their popular cheese & guava pastry along with a chicken croquette. Both were really good and really cheap. The cheese & guava wasn't too sweet and the pastry part was nice and flaky. The chicken croquette was fried perfectly. Both were delicious. Unluckily for us we came pretty full so we didn't get to try too much. But besides their popular guava treats, croquettes and other items I have mentioned, they also had cannolis, empanadas, potato ball, and cuban sandwiches. They even have a full coffee menu. The bakery is pretty large. There is one side for you to order with a few places to sit, but there is another whole section for dine-in guest. The bakery is very causal. The staff here is very nice and friendly. They do everything quickly but not sloppy. And they take card! Parking can be hard since the parking lot is small but there is paid street parking.
Make sure you grab a number when entering as this is how they assist who is next. Staff is helpful and efficient in preparing your order. They offer beverages, cakes, pastries, sandwiches, and hot small bites. It helps them assist you better if you have a list of the items you would like to purchase. Once they package your order they send you to the cashier to pay and they accept cash or card. There is limited seating indoor and outdoor. They have a sign that seating is only for those eating. So make sure you grab a seat when you are done ordering. Señorita Clásica- 10/10 Puff Pastry with a custard filling. Cuban version of a Napoleon pastry. Croquetas de Pollo- 10/10 These are seasoned perfectly and packed with finely shredded chicken. Papa Rellena- 6/10 Very large portion. The potato and filling were a very dry. Colada- 10/10 Espresso and sugar. This is made to share with others as you can easily get 5-6 shot servings out of this. Tres Leches- 10/10 Very moist and still had a bite. This was sweetened perfectly. Empanada de Carne- 9/10 Very moist and flavorful. Very heavy on the green olives. Pastelito de Queso- 9/10 Filling is not overly sweet. The sugar crust at the bottom does become a bit hard and crystallized. Pastelito de Coco- 10/10 Very moist and not overly sweet.
I wanted to dine at the restaurant, but the line was ridiculous, so I decided to try the bakery instead. I had an Apple Tart and it was pretty good. The wait to order was only a few minutes.

This is one of the busiest bakeries in Miami! It is located right next to the Versailles, which is an Icon in Miami as one of the oldest and largest Cuban restaurants. Both places are filled with tourists daily along with the locals. We arrived when the bakery was packed to the gills. The ambiance was loud , casual and smelled so good. But we were determined to get our beloved guava pastry no matter what and we did! We went home, made coffee, and indulged! It was a great day. read more

Great Authentic food here on Calle 8. I had the Cuban sandwich, Beef Empanada and a cortadito to start the day and it did not disappoint. The staff was also very friendly. Highly recommend! read more
I came here and got an array of pastelitos. The service was friendly and fast and the pastries were so yummy. We got guava and cheese, carne, coco, croquettes and Cuban coffee. The place was big and had plenty of options with a simple cafe design. read more

I visited Versailles during my quick trip to Miami. I was a little confused when I walked in as there was a sign that read, 'take number to order from bakery', but I wanted to order a hot sandwich. I took a number and notice as I waited and waited, only one of the 4 women working were taking orders. The others were walking around, putting more items into the already full bakery case. When it was finally my turn the lady wasn't very friendly. The Cubano sandwich was very good as was the espresso Cubano. I was also pleased with how cheap the items were priced. The sandwich was $8.50, coffee was like $1. I got two other items and my total was $14 and change. Worth a visit if you are in the area. read more
After having lunch next door, we stopped here for coffee & dessert. I tried the fruit tart (and I ordered a cookie, but they forgot to put it in our bag). The fruit tart was beautiful. The fruit was fresh, but the crust to filling ratio was off. And my cafe latte lacked crema. It was ok. read more
There is a bakery and there is the actual restaurant, So don't get them confused. The Cuban sandwich here is excellent- toasted bread and meat is perfectly in sync. Pair it with coffee and you got yourself a really nice light lunch, plus some baked goods on the side. It's very busy in here, but you gotta try this place out and just enjoy and appreciate it. read more
The pecan and sugar cookie treats I got were very good. They had many treats on offer. I received good customer service and I was able to find a table easily. Eat lunch or dinner at their restaurant next door and save room for their delicious treats at the bakery. You will not regret your decision. read more
Miami is my second home growing up . I was so excited to visit this bakery that I used to go to with my grandfather. Staff is very nice and welcoming .. I ordered a media noche sandwich .. potato ball, some Guava pastelitos .. a croquette a Malta drink and a cafe con leche ! Don't judge me I ate it all ! Also ordered to go key lime mini pie ! If you're in a rush and don't have time to wait for a table at Versailles Restaurant, then come here to their Cafe! Bonus: Cubano sandwiches are cheaper here! Their desserts and coffee are incredible. Don't forget to get some espresso ground coffee to take home! At $3.99 per brick, this is a treat to take home...and a great "souvenir gift"! Expect a line since this place is so popular. Customer service is always quick and friendly. They also provide a self-serve iced water dispenser by the front windows. Love this place!! read more

I love Versailles the restaurant, but I can't stand this place. First of all it's extremely busy inside and it takes forever (which I know is not their fault and I don't mind) but what I do mind is the attitudes of the employees, they were taking out their garbage with a rolling dolly, hit my wife in the back of the leg, and didn't even stop to ask if she was ok. The staff is buzzing around doing their thing and treat the customers like an annoyance. At the time we were there an employee called a security guard over to kick out an old black woman that was waiting for food that the customer in front of me had bought her, I don't know her story but she wasn't bothering anyone. The security guard even came in a second time to kick her out and then finally gave up when she got upset and said she was just waiting for food. Now on to the pastries. We bought many types of cookies, from the Santiago to the dulce Leche, chocolate chip etc. And nothing stood out, it seemed they used the same dough on every cookie. It's like a not so sweet shortbread, nothing special. The chocolate chip cookie didn't even have chocolate chips inside. Instead, they were placed on top after, which is kind of odd. I'll add some photos. The pastries look good, but that's about it. If I were you, I'd head on over to Versailles and get a meal instead. read more

Came here to compare the food to Porto's. This bakery in terms of service definitely fits the Miami stereotype and don't expect anything less! The usual, not giving you the time of day if you don't speak Spanish, and deliberately skip over you to talk to the next person because they just don't want to deal with you. It's great! My friend wanted a guava empanada (it was labelled as such) and the server didn't know what she was talking about. When she pointed to it, she asked what it was l, the server said, guava empanada. So great! Other than the usual crappy Miami service, food was delicious. I ordered my favorite Porto's Staples: Potato ball: the meat filling tasted like it had freezer taste. Not very appetizing or good. I was very disappointed. Maybe I came on a bad day Spinach empanada baked: So good! My favorite! The filling to pastry ratio was off, not enough filling. Meat pie: Super good! Not enough filling, pastry to filling ratio was off. Fruit tart: It was not my cup of tea. Very very processed tasting. The icing taste too sugary and wrong. The filling was wrong too. Overall, lack luster tourist trap. Not worth the lines. read more

Wow this place is great!! Staff was very welcoming very nice everything inside was very clean While we waited for our table at the restaurant who is celebrating their 50th anniversary we enjoyed a couple pastries and a delicious Cuban coffee. We had the empanada ham and cheese and beef one. Napoleon cakes, caramel cake, and chocolate pastie. Over all 5 stars can't wait to come back and try more read more
My friend and I came here at 9pm. There's a large parking across the street. There was a long line waiting for tables in the restaurant still after 9pm!! So we decided to do takeout instead. Even takeout takes about 30min wait time. So we tried out the bakery right attached to it. The bakery shop is small but the smell is great. Price is fair. One empanada is $2 and one croquet is $1. Both tastes decent! For that price, no complaint! read more
This cuban bakery in who-knows-where Miami was just what we needed for our drive to Key West. Well, not really as the sugar high wore off at the wrong time, but who cares, it was delicious. Luckily we got there pretty early (9a or so) and first went to the restaurant where there was a wait, then realized there's a separate bakery which is what we were looking for. Basically, you get in line, tell them what you want, somehow they remember you with all the madness going on, hopefully find a table, pay, get your food and enjoy! We had an assortment of pastries, a mini cuban sandwich, some cuban toast, and coffees and everything was excellent. The chocolate éclair was probably the best one I have ever eaten. We'd come back if we're ever in Miami again! read more
