Run don't walk to DBaker's. This place came in so clutch for me to get a birthday cake last minute that was absolutely beautiful. I don't live in Miami so I'm not familiar with bakeries here but I needed a cake in a short amount of time and didn't know where would be the best place to go. I ended up finding this place and I am SO glad I did. The staff was really sweet and helpful and I really appreciated them. l explained what I needed and how I wanted a custom message and they were able to perfectly accommodate that for me instantly. They already had a premade cake that was the exact flavor that I was looking for, was gorgeously designed, and they were able to add the custom message in just a few minutes. I couldn't be happier with the cake. It's so modern and beautiful and tasted good as well. This is a must visit if you have a sweet tooth. I probably come to this location once every two weeks, sometimes more, to bring home a treat. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. My favorite things to get have been their cookies and macaroons. They have a wide variety of flavors for both. Some of my favorite macaroon flavors are the guava, tiramisu, and pistachio. I've probably tried them all though and haven't had one that I didn't enjoy. I also tried their banana pudding cake cup yesterday which was phenomenal. I ordered a cake for my boyfriend's birthday as we celebrated from out of town. I ran straight to yelp to find a bakery and found them. I liked their story and decided to go with them. I ordered a specialy cake in red velvet and the cake was a hit. As time started to get the best of me I had no choice but to have my boyfriend pick up the cake and he refused to look at it even at their insistence , though I'm relieved they did a great job. I wish they could've done blue velvet to match my color scheme but they could accommodate my request. I know most people complain when a cake is too dry, but this cake was too moist. Not sure if it was because we didn't take it out the freezer early enough. My only regret was not picking up the cake myself or visiting the bakery to try some of their other treats. Was feeling a little sweet tooth wild after dinner and came across Dbakers Yelp. Of course it was a must try after viewing the menu. I went with the most popular Tres leches cup. There were many options, hard to choose! My boyfriend got the banana pudding which would have been my next choice. I loved mine, at first (I think they freeze it?) it was too cold but after letting it thaw out in the fridge it was so delicious. I didn't care for the banana bread however I have been SPOILED by living next to Magnolia bakery in nyc. Also had the carrot cupcake, not my favorite. The texture? Cupcake form? This place is officially on my list of things to try when you get to Miami. Unfortunately, it is a seasonal item- just try it while you can and pray this business puts it on its menu permanently! My partner picked up two desserts from dbakers this weekend and I was excited! The last time I had the Ferrero cream puff it was absolutely delicious! This time we got the cream puff and the tiramisu. Customer service was on point (again) as staff is kind and helpful. Unfortunately the sweets were not the best today. I would leave a 2 but the customer service was a 5 so I'm leaving a 3. The cream puff was a bit dry and stale. Hard to bite. The saving grace was the creamy inside. It was hard to enjoy. The tiramisu was a take on the traditional, as it was more like a cake which would be fine but it had a very off taste. The cream was flavorful less, the coffee at the bottom was very liquidy and the cake didn't taste right. The eco friendly container where the tiramisu went in may have affected the flavors as it tasted like refrigerator since it was pre packaged. It didn't taste very fresh. Both deserts came out to $20+, which was a bit steep to not enjoy them. Hoping to come back soon and have a better experience! read more

I finally found the perfect bakery for a gluttonous like me. And it's incredible amazing with so sweet people working there. Was looking for something sweet to bring to a friend and wow... still shocked how incredible is the food here. I ended up with 8 cupcakes because I was so curious to try all of them..
