I love their macarons even though they are a bit pricey n the pricey side, they are always so fresh and full of flavor. My favorite is the pistachio. A bit biased because Laduree and the Design District own a special place in my heart so when I saw this location at my fav spot in Miami, I got super excited! I came over the weekend on a Sunday for a lil pick me up treat and loved how big this store was in comparison to all the other Laduree stores I've been to. Definitely fits the aesthetic of the Design District, they had a bit of indoor seating as well as some outdoor that you could use from the plaza of the area. They not only offered macarons but had some cool non-food items like totes and candles, and for food they had ice cream, coffee, matcha (to my surprise), and even some Eugenies (a caramel type of cookie covered in chocolate in different flavors). We got some macarons (the Marie-Antoinette being my fav) and tried the Eugenie cookie. The macarons are overall okay but, again, they hold a special place in my heart. I love the Marie Antoinette because it gives an Earl Grey flavor, which is my top of all time. The Eugenie cookie wasn't the greatest, especially at $4.50 for such a small thing but I was happy I at least tried it. Overall, a great spot for a nice lil treat in a pricey area. I love Laduree's macarons, and am so glad this one opens up in Design District. As usual, the inside of the store is straight out of a little girl's dream, sugar and cream and everything nice. I think Laduree does IG-worthy before IG exists. I like their macarons, the crunchy shell and soft chewy center is done right, with an intense burst of flavors in the filling. What I don't like though is that you have to pay extra for containers. If I pay that much for a little piece of macaron, I kind of feel like I'm entitled to a box. This place offers light meals like croissants and sandwiches, which again looks picture perfect. read more

Their cookies and macaroons are incredible. However, the kid who was working there that day ruined the experience. He was not friendly at all, I had a feeling that he just wanted us to leave and close the store. Even tho we got there right after the store opened. Hard to explain but the service was not welcoming to people who entered the shop. I'd rather buy these online instead of having this service. read more

Super cute little macaron shop. I stopped in to enjoy a few following an event in the Design District. I ordered the rose macaron because I'd had one at the location on Champs Élysées in Paris. This one brought all the memories back. I'll be sure to stop in again the next time I am over there. read more

Went in this past Saturday with my children and my mom. We were celebrating Mother's Day the weekend after. We walked in and it was a bit warm inside also not greeted. The AC must have been not working well that day. I asked the young man about a particular flavored macaroon. He seemed annoyed and I could barely understand him. We bought a small box of macaroons. He seemed surprised and perplexed. We were on a high from the nice brunch we had together. We purposely did not have dessert so we could at Laduree. He totally killed the vibe! Not very friendly at all. The macaroons were excellent but not the service. If he was upset about the work conditions he should've not put that on us. Not what we excepted at such a fine establishment in Design District and for the prices. We will not be coming back. read more

Laduree is more like LIEduree. They sell little prepackaged containers of ice cream for 9$. The guy working behind the counter told me they get them shipped from France every two weeks. I bought one and very clearly on the bottom of the container it says MADE IN THE USA and has a company name located in New York. The ingredients list also contained fillers and chemicals that would never be used in France. This makes me question the entire place. Small shop in the design district, really cute and has some nice Christmas boxes for the Holliday season. Got some macaroons, vanilla, chocolate, raspberry, and strawberry candy (like those marshmallow strawberries). The chocolate was a little strong for my tastes but the rest were delicious. The cashier was really friendly and nice, probably cause he deals with rich A holes everyday. read more
