a coffee shop with green walls and white furniture

I'm thrilled to see a new café/coffee shop in Lauderdale by Sea. The space is absolutely beautiful. The hazelnut croissant was excellent, and the coffee was very good. I would come back again to try some of their crêpes.

6/22/24- Wow , looks nice once you walk in . Very bright & clean. Watch your crepe being made. I had the Turkey Club minus the tomatoes. It had pastrami, turkey, spinach ,cheese, and it was supposed to come with cherry tomatoes, but I requested no tomatoes . It is served in a cone , with a plate under it. The first few bites had a nice little crunch to it. It was delious. I needed a knife and fork, but it does come with this nice paper cone like where they put the crêpe in with instructions how to fold it over, as you eat it. I've never seen that very interesting. Plus they have their in house ice cream. I was given a sample of the pistachio ice cream. It had an interesting little metal spoon on it, which was cute . Throughout the ice cream it didn't have the whole nut, but it was like crunched up and it was nice thru out the creamy ice cream. I'll definitely return and try a different crêpe this time.

You can have different yoghurt flavors, add topings you want and then they weigh it and you pay based on weight. This was more expensive than other places i have been to. For the cup you see we paid $25. The quality is good, yoghurt is fresh but you can definitely taste tangy citrusy flavor you get with yoghurt which I am not a huge fan of compared to places like yuzu frozen yoghurt where you feel its more like ice cream gelato flavor. I loved the interior and location of the place!

It was nice to see that they had regular Greek yogurt and frozen Greek yogurt options, but I didn't like the fact that you don't really get to try the flavors which sucks being that this place is kinda on the pricier side. They charge by weight here, so it's definitely important to be mindful of how much you're putting in your cup. They have rotating flavors of both the regular & frozen Greek yogurts. Because this was my first time and I wanted to try multiple, I ended up choosing Greek honey froyo, mocha froyo & coconut froyo. All 3 flavors were pretty good, but my favorite was the coconut. I love that they have so many options for toppings, but they don't keep all the toppings on the self serve side, so be sure to look at both spots to know what you want. There was plenty of searing inside and outside and the decor of the place really gives the Greek vibe. I would definitely come back to try their regular Greek yogurt & their other rotating froyo flavors!

I happened on an online ad for the Museum of Ice Cream and our Miami family hadn't been there. We…read moredecided it was the perfect place to take the older (10 and 12 year old) grandkids. You have to buy tickets online and the only downside was that the fees were as much as one of the tickets. Traffic downtown is a challenge, as is parking but we found a lot that wasn't far. We arrived exactly at our ticket time and after our QR code was scanned we were led into the first room with a group of about 15 people. We all moved at our own pace from room to room. The staff was friendly and upbeat and everything was kept pretty clean. There were lots fun quiz questions and facts and games and most rooms had cups of different flavors of ice cream. I can honestly say I have never before eaten so much ice cream in one evening. They had one room set up like an airplane- that took us to Frosty Land and the flight attendant served more ice cream as we watched the ice cream themed scenery out the "windows". One room was carnival themed with games, cotton candy and caramel popcorn flavors of ice cream. There was a room full of freezers and a couple had secret rooms. There was a soda fountain room with a bar and jukebox and slides down to the sprinkle pit. The museum is good for all ages and all levels of interest. The included unlimited ice cream is a great perk and if you wanted, you could buy extras like a banana split or drinks. And of course there's a small gift shop at the end. We were told the entire experience would be about 90 minutes but we were there longer and still engaged.

We paid $149 for two adults and a toddler, which already sets a pretty high expectation for the experience. The biggest highlight was definitely the unlimited ice cream offered throughout the exhibits -- fun flavors and a cute concept. If you're a dessert lover or going for the photos, you'll probably enjoy that part. However, everything else felt surprisingly basic. The installations were colorful but not as immersive or interactive as I expected, and the space was extremely crowded, which made it hard to really enjoy or take photos comfortably. Service also impacted the experience. The staff at the front entrance weren't very helpful or welcoming when we arrived, and many of the employees inside seemed unhappy or disengaged. Energy from staff really sets the tone at places like this, so that was disappointing. For families: it is kid-friendly, but just be prepared for crowds and stimulation. Toddlers may enjoy the visuals and treats, but I'm not sure the cost justifies the experience. Pros: * Unlimited ice cream samples * Bright, fun photo opportunities * Kid-friendly environment Cons: * Very crowded * Price does not match the experience * Staff engagement could be better * Exhibits felt basic for the hype Would I return? No -- once was more than enough for me.
