First off I must say that T'antay is a very professional business owner. I located her on Instagram and loved her work. From browsing her page I noticed she had a mini tall cake that served 4-6 people. This was absolutely perfect for me because I was coming to town with friends to celebrate my birthday and while I wanted a cake but I didn't want anything too big. We chatted about what I wanted and I gave her creative freedom to design however she wanted as long as it incorporated the colors I liked. Another great thing is she offered delivery of the cake which was perfect since I wouldn't be renting a car. On the delivery day when she arrived her husband noticed that there was something wrong with the cake. In short, a small section of the cake collapsed. While I was totally bummed and saddened her immediate response "I will refund you for the cake". She didn't try to make any excuses but she sprung into action and did an amazing job at fixing the cake. In all honesty, if you didn't know what occurred you wouldn't have even noticed the imperfection. The cake was still beautiful and tasted AMAZING!! Everyone loved the cake as well as myself. T'antay is not a bakery. Is a cake studio. Basically a fresh made from scratch place where everything has to be pre-order. Pros: The best cakes in Miami. Not to sweet, fresh balance. Cons: You can't just pop in a have there amazing cakes whenever you want. After scheduling a tasting with the owner. I was told that they only make exceptions for out of town/ destination weddings. The charge a fee for the tasting and we made it a month in advance. The tasting includes all the cake flavors and fillings, some Peruvian alfajores, drinks, and 1 hour. You can truly taste the experience and love in the cakes. And for the day of our event the cake was to dream for. Ingrid can be described as straight forward and knowledgeable. The whole entire process from design conception to having the cake delivered to the restaurant where I was celebrating after the grad ceremony was the most seamless and smoothest process!
