Contacted the owner of this "company" about a custom cake and cookies needed in a couple weeks. She was originally responsive and said she could do and would work on some ideas. Over a couple days, we discussed quantity of people, size of cake and amount of cookies. We agreed upon a price (which was nothing to sneeze at) and she said we would touch base after Christmas as she had a lot of orders to do. At this point I still had not seen any drawings or anything specific to what my cake would look like. After the holidays I still did not hear back from her, so I reached out and sent some more specific ideas and tried to lock her down to a pick up time later that week and where to pick up. After hearing nothing back, I gave her an out on like Wed or Thur (for a pick up on Sunday) that if she couldn't do it, to please let me know so I could try to find some other backup last minute. She assured me that she had told me yes and she was doing it and she would send me sketches. I said great and asked her again for a time and address to pick up the order. Again crickets. At this point I began to think I needed a backup plan because I could see the writing on the wall and I regret not trusting my instinct sooner to get the cake I really wanted. The only positive is that she never asked for any money during this debacle. Sunday morning I text for her address and time to pick up and almost immediately, her sister (who I do not know) texts me back from a totally different number saying she is very sick with the flu or something and had to go to the hospital and couldn't complete my order. My reason for 1 star vs maybe 3 for the poor communication and hey sure people get sick, is because if you are going to leave someone hanging for a big life event and pretend you are sick and in the hospital (especially when you were given an out earlier in the week), perhaps you shouldn't post on your social media that you are partying it up at a large family gathering looking way better than anyone I've ever seen just leave the hospital. Overall don't put your trust and special event cake in her hands as you are rolling the dice whether you'll get one or not. Very unprofessional.

Had a beautiful Elegant Temptations cake for my wedding last November. We did some dulce de leche and white cake, and some cappuccino cake. What a duo-- best wedding cake I'd ever tasted. The cake was incredible day-of... but my best sell for the cake is that we just defrosted it for our one year anniversary. My expectation: freezer burned, dry mess that we would have one bite and toss the rest. I could not have been more wrong-- dare I say it was almost as good as on our wedding day!!! When I arrived, I was told the register was already closed and they could not accept credit cards. Fortunately, I had a $100 bill with me, but they refused to accept that as well. I had to walk around the plaza trying to find someone to break the bill. After finally getting change, I returned at 5:01 PM -- only to find the door locked. What made the situation even worse was seeing the employee sitting in her car watching me, then driving away as she waited to give me a bad look. It felt incredibly disrespectful, rude, and completely unprofessional. I've honestly seen better customer service at a gas station. The lack of basic courtesy and common sense from the staff was unbelievable. Locking the doors while a customer is actively trying to break the bill is just unacceptable behavior. It's clear this employee does not care about customers or the reputation of the business. Management should seriously reconsider who they trust to represent their company because this kind of attitude drives loyal customers away. I've been a loyal customer for years, buying birthday cakes for both my family and our office celebrations, but after this experience, I will not be returning. Unfortunately, this was not my first negative interaction with the same employee. After multiple bad experiences, I can confidently say the problem is the staff.

I called this morning to let them know that I was getting ready to call the Uber to come pick up the cake and now a caveat was added stating that I had to make the Uber driver come in to pick up the cake. This was not mentioned when I ordered the cake and when they were taking my money. I feel like they need to be transparent with things that they suggest when they suggest them. If you knew that I had to send an Uber driver in to make the pickup then that should've been communicated to me when I ordered the cake. I ended up just leaving from work early to pick up the cake. I also grabbed some cupcakes and two individual slices of cake cakes as well. The experience today just left a bad taste in my mouth and I don't think I'll be ordering from them anymore.

I wanted it have it delivered to our office but I found out that delivery takes place between 11 and 4 p.m. and there are no guarantees that our cake will deliver by the time I specified so I place the order for pick up. They have two locations one in Doral and one by Tamiami park. I chose their Doral location as my work is in the Doral area. When I went to their store in Doral, the store is filled with cake samples and it so happened that a bride was choosing her wedding cake on this day. The service was friendly and quick, they brought the cake which I was a tad disappointed that it looked kind of small. I was ordering for 10 employees. However, this cake which I had chosen for 7 people was plenty. So, don't be discouraged. The cake design was very nice, unique. It as a cake with a champagne glass a top of the cake, inside the plastic cup there was some kind of gelatin or jelly like substance that was edible and made to look like the beverage. I chose the German chocolate filling. Overall, the cake design was great, the cake itself was delicious, the customer service outstanding.
