    Guava and coconut

The three little bunnies is the store name. Cute name. They located at the border of Hialeah and Miami Lake. It is perfect location to serve both community. Basically they are in the heart of Hialeah. This bakery has a lot to offer. We were here for the pastelito that l love since we were spend spur 11 years in Miami. We got 20 meat, 4 guava, 10 coconut pastelitos. The coconut is the best. I feel that their meat need some work. I think missing more seasoning in the meat. However, the pastelito are crispy and nice even after a week in a seal container. We also got the three different types señorita. It is like Napoleons pastry. We have caramel, chocolate and powder sugar. All of them is good. The only complaint is the clerk do not speak English. They have go to kitchen to get some one speak English. This is Miami-Hialeah. Not many can speak English and survive.

Highly recommended by my 70yr. old Cuban friend that told me that this bakery was the best in Hialeah, I decided since I was in the area to give it a try.. Note to self...don't trust my friend's Cuban bakery choices...! The place is small & very Summer hot with little ventilation. The bakery side looks appealing but there are no menus much less prices signs; basically, you'll have to trust the "muchachita" to charge you accordingly. They have a very small "eating" area on the other side of the bakery where they display their regular food. The food didn't really look fresh; even though right now, it's 10am. The Cuban crackers that are ready to be packaged are handled without any gloves so that raised a sanitary concern & wondered if food was properly handled. I had a "pastelito de carne" that was dry & it's meat was unsavory. My daughter had a Cuban toast that was small but edible. The service was attentive but not welcoming. After a $7 bill with tip, I can tell my friend that I went & tried; but sadly, I can't say, I will return. Unfortunately, I can't wish you my favorite word... Bon Appétit...!

I was in Hialeah Gardens putting gas at BJ's and was hungry so I looked this place up on Yelp. It's tucked away in the corner of a busy old shopping center, so it's not easily spotted from the road. True to what it said on the reviews, they only let 3 people in at a time, which is fine because it's a small Cuban bakery. After a short wait, I went inside, saw the selections, and chose 2 guayaba y queso pastelitos, 3 panes con lechón, 2 beef empanadas (freshly fried), 1 colada, and 4 ham croquetas de la casa. The panes were small but great, and three or four will definitely fill you, the other stuff was good as well except for las croquetas de la casa that were way too fried and kind of stale. Besides that, I'll gladly return

This place is excellent. Very good pan con lechón, bocadito preparado, croquetas, we try the torreja and is good not the same as the buñuelo but same flavor, all the time you see come fresh food from the kitchen. Esta panadería cubana esta excelente, muy buena calidad y super barata

From a bartender/ server, I can say I'm always looking for good service and he delivered. The food was really good we had the ham and chicken croquetas, as well as carnitas frita de cerdo. The ham croquettes were suggested by Alejandro and they were so good. He also suggested we did the Lacon con papas and he did not disappoint. It's cooked for 4 hours and it's so soft and yummy. We were celebrating my girls birthday and he brought out a nice Dubai chocolate cake and sang happy birthday. Super nice I suggest seating outside in the patio. It's hot but there's many fans. The decor it's giving Cuba. I loved it. I had been here before in 2021 but Alejandro truly made our experience better and worth it. They had a special mojito guy would make about 6 mojitos at a time. Will definitely be back.

Service is ok waitress was friendly but doing their job for the company to max out their profits. Ambiance is what you expect of all the south beach locations seemingly an extension of Havana if you been there. I would rank as 4 stars for the food but downgrade because they added a lot of random stuff to the menu just to get those who dont know real cuban food to eat there such as burgers and pasta lol. It would get 5 stars if they were authentic trying to offer strictly cuban only and reasonably priced. Because they take advantage of tourist and are here just for the money I lowered it to 3.

I hadn't been in years and I wanted Cuban food so we came Sunday afternoon to satisfy my craving. We started with the fritura de malanga. Avocado was great and enough for three people to share. My mom had the arroz con pollo à la chorrera. This was huge!!! Definitely enough for two people to eat. I had the enchilada de camaron and it was just like I remember it from my childhood. So flavorful and a big portion of shrimps. There's parking behind the restaurant but the spaces are a little tight. The inside is spacious with lots of seating and great for large parties. Everything was great except for the service. He was not attentive whatsoever, was just standing around talking to the other waiters instead of checking on our table. We had to call him over a few times for things we needed because he would not pass by our table unless we called him over. This is a great restaurant for Cuban food and I always recommend it to people. It's a shame the customer service is lacking.

Our favorite time to visit is Sunday brunch, especially since they have a special menu. We recently came for Father's Day, and even though Julio was celebrating as a father himself, he was working incredibly hard to make sure every guest had a great experience. You can really see how much heart and dedication he pours into his business. As expected on Father's Day, there was a bit of a wait, especially since we were a larger party, but none of us minded. To thank us for our patience, Julio generously brought out croquetas for the table on the house, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I can't recommend Trigo Café enough. Having had a quick workday lunch and walked around the mall, I had worked up an appetite. I was seated in a corner table for two and my order was taken. The restaurant did not seem that crowded even for a Friday night but it felt like a long wait. Unlike many Cuban places, they don't offer complimentary bread. I ordered their "platanos a tentacion" (bacon wrapped sweet plantains), grilled chicken and moros. The rice was a little hard and the chicken breast on the small side and barely seasoned other than the onions garnishing it. Service didn't feel very attentive for me as a solo diner. Between finishing my dinner and waiting to order either dessert or cafecito, I also sat and waited until a waitress finally came by. At that point, I just got the coffee and my check. I don't believe I was offered a printed receipt, just the card terminal. I asked if the tip was included and pretty much in time when I was putting the usual tip (trying to be generous with 20 percent) I was told that it was a service charge, and that the tip was extra, but had full amounts starting with 18%. So basically I paid 30% tip for a small portion of food and inattentive service. Looking back, I see that this restaurant had a different name and I had enjoyed dinner at their other location six years back. It's disappointing to see how it has fallen off. As it were, a lot of the original creative items on the menu are no longer being offered.
