When I arrived, I was told the register was already closed and they could not accept credit cards. Fortunately, I had a $100 bill with me, but they refused to accept that as well. I had to walk around the plaza trying to find someone to break the bill. After finally getting change, I returned at 5:01 PM -- only to find the door locked. What made the situation even worse was seeing the employee sitting in her car watching me, then driving away as she waited to give me a bad look. It felt incredibly disrespectful, rude, and completely unprofessional. I've honestly seen better customer service at a gas station. The lack of basic courtesy and common sense from the staff was unbelievable. Locking the doors while a customer is actively trying to break the bill is just unacceptable behavior. It's clear this employee does not care about customers or the reputation of the business. Management should seriously reconsider who they trust to represent their company because this kind of attitude drives loyal customers away. I've been a loyal customer for years, buying birthday cakes for both my family and our office celebrations, but after this experience, I will not be returning.
