Our friend and go-to baker was out of town and unable to make the cake for my son's baptism, so I ordered from Todo Dulces on Instagram after their profile was sent to me and their work recommended by another friend. Todo Dulces has a great Instagram account with beautiful pictures of their varied experience and a good following. COMPLETELY DECEPTIVE! They were extremely responsive at the time of ordering, a month ahead of the baptism, and days leading up to the baptism to confirm pick-up. The pick-up day rolls around and they were completely unresponsive to any messages on Instagram and calls and messages to the number listed on their bio throughout the day since 10am. We had no idea where to pick up the cake. When we finally get a response at 4:30pm, they told us we would have to come the day of the baptism (next morning) at the time of the ceremony because everyone had left the shop already. After some back and forth and waiting for hours, we were able to pick up the cake at nearly midnight. The cake was a DISASTER. SO FAR from the quality you would expect from a professional shop and NOTHING like the work they regularly post to their page. They charged nearly $150. Fondant was dry, cracking, and chipped, and the cake had bulging layers and air bubbles throughout. Extremely disappointed. I was ripped off completely. DO NOT trust Todo Dulces to deliver quality work or a reliable customer experience. Do not believe the pictures you see of their work on their page. We had vanilla, cappuccino, chocolate and raspberry filling and loved all the flavors. My sister ordered a square five tier cake. Everything was rolling and the day of the wedding arrives. What a surprise for the bride when she walked in and saw a ROUND five-tier cake. She called and said the cake was wrong and was told the design was round even though the paying customer specifically designed a rectangular cake (picture to be added). At that point to compensate for their error, they said they would let us borrow a round base and would be delivered free of charge. The base never arrived. Thank God the florist, Jackie came to the rescue and added some flowers. The only reason it gets one star is the taste. read more

What a big disappointment!! We went todo dulce 3 weeks ago to get a few things for my baby shower. We pay for a few cupcakes, cake pops, macarons, and cookies. Nothing was like we order, we were very specific with how we want those and especially on decoration and colors. The cupcakes we're awful tasteless and the frosty was super hard, Cake pops were very hard and the decorations very very wrong. Macarons? The worst that I try in my whole life. Man nasties macarons ever and the decoration was nothing like we ask. And the cookies man, we even send then a picture of those and how we want them, I was supposed to look like elephants and there was nothing like that. We spend so much money on such a crapy food. The owner should be ashamed of her business. We actually call to complaint and the don't even care. Don't waste money in this place. read more

After having had the cakes from Todo Dulce (Everything Sweet) at a few events in the past years, I decided to use them for my best friend's bridal shower cake this past weekend as I had been very impressed with the cake designs I had seen as well as how good they had tasted. I went in to Todo Dulce about two weeks ago with a copy of the party invitation and they were able to create a cake to match the invitation beautifully. Everyone that saw the cake had something great to say about it :) We chose to make the cake red velvet since that is the bride-to-be's favorite filling and everyone was very happy with the taste of the cake too. Light and delicious! The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is that the cakes do tend to be pricey here and the ladies who own the shoppe speak mostly Spanish and I can see that being a problem for those who don't. read more

I decided to take my mom and mom-in-law for a cake tasting prior to deciding and I'm glad I did. We showed up and saw first-hand the gorgeous creations they have done, both on display at their store and through tons of photos. Then we tasted around eight different flavor, all great in my opinion. We settled for the almond and othe tiers in vanilla. Alejandra, one of the owners, designed my cake using my baby shower invitation, and on paper, it seemed pretty accurate. Fast-forward to the baby shower, and I walked in to the see the most beautiful cake - just for me! Three tiered, giraffe-print designed, and a cut out cookie of a baby girl dress as the topper. The cake was the star of the shower to say the least, and thanks to our careful taste test, both the almond and vanilla tiers we selected were delicious and very moist. It's not the same. The original owner sold and I was disappointed with my son's birthday cake. The taste was great but the craftsmanship that I have come to expect from the Todo Dulces name was lacking. Unfortunately I picked up the cake two hours before the party and had to leave it as-is. The previous owner would have never handed over a cake like this and charged me nearly $200 with a straight face. The top had a part where the cake showed through the frosting. The artwork on the dragon was messy. The frosting itself was cracked and had areas where the dye pooled and it just looked messy and unpolished. My sons baptism cake was done by the original owner and as you can see the quality is far superior. If someone knows where she went please let me know!! I know the argument will be made asking why I didn't ask them to fix this. It was two hours before the party and I didn't have time. Also, I should not have to deal with this, there is an artistry and quality I expect from Todo Dulces especially for the price. It was a 25 person cake. They both came out not only delicious but they did exactly what I asked for. I'd called around to a number of recommended spots -- French bakeries, artisan ice cream spots -- and my quick-turnaround requirement left me empty handed with every phone call. Most place needed a day's notice. Not wanting to go the route of a Publix cake, I tried my luck by stopping by Todo Dulces. I read the reviews and thought just maaaaaybe they could bring my search to an end. This tiny bakery (just off Bird Road) specializes in fancy cakes. The kind of creations you'd see on Cake Boss -- full on scenes like Noah's Arc and other stories being played out with edible artistry. While the owner conducted a consultation with a lady planning some special occasion, I noticed a plain white (but surely toothsome) cake behind the glass. I asked the girl working if it was available instantly and she assured me it was and they'd even give it a little color in the back. Vanilla with brandy, chocolate with brandy or marble was the dilemma -- 8 minutes later my vanilla with brandy cake (how could you possibly go wrong with that) was beautiful and ready to go. When my husband and I first went to Todo Dulces, we had great service and the owner was very friendly and helpful while we discussed what we wanted. However, as we approached the wedding the service became worse and worse. I received a call three days before the wedding saying, "I'm sorry but we can not deliver the cake at the time you requested because we only have one other delivery that day. But everything is light and you will be able to transport it easily." She did not introduce herself, and since I had just left the florist, I assumed it was the flowers she was talking about. This caused a lot of confusion, not totally her fault, but I recommend introducing yourself at the beginning of any business call. After I cleared the confusion with my florist, we agreed to pick up the cake ourselves. However after that, I was not able to contact the store about the delivery or pickup of the cake. We had days of unanswered phone calls, messages, and email. My brother and his wife left our ceremony early to pick up the cake, but they were closed. I left the ceremony unsure if I would have a cake or not! Luckily one call to the venue and we had assurance the cake was delivered. The cake was pretty, but was missing some gold details that were promised in our original meeting. After we cut into the cake I noticed that the filling was not what we ordered. It was a bit disappointing. However my guests were happy and of course they didn't notice anything wrong. I would much prefer a business with better communication, especially for such an important ceremony in one's life. Weddings are stressful enough! Also, please double check orders before making them. A good friend of mine asked for my help in choosing her wedding cake (talk about dream come true!) so I flew to Miami and her wedding planner, Mariel took us to this little shop. At first blush, I was skeptical due in part to the location and the rather small size of the store but that quickly vanished once I met the owner. Laura greeted us warmly and was incredibly patient as I asked for more samples :-) (It was part of the job). I tried a number of cakes: vanilla with brandy, amaretto, red velvet, marble (which she called chocolate) and chocolate with chocolate ganache. Laura makes one heck of a vanilla/brandy with butter cream frosting cake. It was moist without being soaked and had the right amount of brandy. I wasn't a fan of the chocolate (too heavy) or the red velvet (I'm a little particular about red velvet). ToDo Dulces gets 4 stars because I think she skimped on the icing and I 'll have to see how the wedding cake turns out in April. read more

This place really disappoints and the customer service is horrible, they made the wrong cake for my event, they confirmed it was their error and they made a second cake which they requested I pick up on the actual day of my event, they couldn't offer delivery afterwards and the second cake looked like it was done in a hurry. We also found a hair on the cake during the event. They never offered a discount and denied to provide one when asked. I will never use them again, such a shame. read more

Todo Dulces stood out to us when we were first looking for a wedding cake vendor because they have great reviews and their cakes are really unique and exciting looking -- no plain white cake for us, thank you! Dealing with them was a bit of a struggle (we dealt primarily with Gisselle, who is sweet but takes FOREVER to respond to emails and most times I just had to call or else I'd never hear back from her), but it was worth it for the cake! (We don't live in Miami, so we couldn't just go in, we did all the correspondence by email from afar.) After spending hours and hours looking at cake pictures online, I found one I liked and asked if Todo Dulces could recreate it, but with a few tweaks. They said yes, we ironed out the changes at the cake tasting, and... they didn't make any of them! The cake we got at the wedding was the exact same as in the picture, which was spectacular, but frustrating that they didn't do what we'd agreed on. Anyway, our cake ended up being 4 tiers. 2 of the tiers were chocolate ganache cake, 1 was coconut cake, and 1 was almond cake -- and they were all amazing. Everyone was talking about how amazing the cake was and wishing they could've had more! We can't wait for our 1 year anniversary so we can eat the top tier, which we saved. Overall: definitely use them for your wedding cake, but be prepared for truly horrible communication and frustration with that. The end result will be worth it, though! read more

We used Todo Dulces for our wedding cake two years ago. I just saw friends for the first time since our wedding, and one of them randomly asked me who did my cake because she still remembers how amazing it was! She asked me for what flavors and specifically the icing. I don't remember now, but I am now inspired to go back and get a mini-cake for our two year anniversary to celebrate with my husband. This is not the first time I have heard people comment/text me about my cake literally more than a year later, but I thought that this illustrates how amazing their cakes are.
