I could be a baaaaad somebody if I had good decoration skills. So my critiques come from a place of "I know how to do that".... First of all from the moment she answered the phone her warm customer service aura radiated. I was hooked. Instead of her telling me it's short notice and what she can't do she LISTENED to what I wanted so that we can figure out what she CAN do. I saw something on her page that represented the birthday boy, a little bit of royalty, and pride and she said was feasible given the time. So we pressed go. The communication of her process was way above expectations and we together set a standard of what was acceptable. Take a look at my attached pics for a glimpse. It was tasty, spiked, and on time. No decorations no cake topper. (I added the Ferraro rochers on top) My birthday was on a Monday and they do not open on sundays or mondays. So I had to pick up the cake Saturday night. She told me the cake stays fresh up to 5 days, so I agreed since once again I had no problem with them before. The cake was fine on sunday in my refrigerator. The day of my birthday, on Monday, some form of liquid was leaking out of it and the cake was SINKING! I had paid $100 for this cake and they weren't open I had no choice but to put it on display in front of my family and friends. The cake was rum after I explicitly told them I didn't want a rum cake. The cake flavor was not what I asked for, the cake was a sinking disaster, it was leaking a weird fluid, and it was embarrassing for me and my guests. They lost a loyal customer.

I specifically chose Divine Delicacies because they assured me they were the best at replicating designs exactly as shown in pictures. They promised me that the cake would look just like the reference photo I provided. What I received was completely unacceptable: * The cake design was poorly executed--one of Hello Kitty's eyes was much bigger than the other, making it look completely off. * The colors were wrong and did not match the reference photo. * The fondant was not smooth, and the cake was uneven, showing a complete lack of skill. Whoever made this cake clearly had no experience. * The cake itself was dry and not fresh at all. When I called the store to express my concerns, the customer service was horrible. The employee I spoke with was rude, dismissive, and even yelled at me. She told me I should have called "with due time" so they could have sent someone to paint the cake on-site. This was outrageous--the cake was delivered while my party was already happening. They expected me to stop my daughter's birthday celebration to have someone repaint the cake in front of my guests? Completely unprofessional. Hoping for a resolution, I emailed the owner explaining the situation. A year has passed, and I have never received a response--no apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. For $931, I expected a flawless cake and professional service, but I got a poorly made cake, terrible customer service, and complete disregard from the owner. I would never order from Divine Delicacies again, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. A birthday cake should be the centerpiece of a celebration, and they failed on every level
