My daughter, my mom, and I loved this munchies so much. Turns out that they're not cupcakes even though they look like, they are cookie dough cakes. And we got half a dozen, guava, Caramell, Oreo, Nutella, and I forgot the rest because they were so tasty! I met with the owner yesterday because I want to order a cake for a baby shower and of course take some goodies home. WOW she is super nice, professional and gave me some ideas. While I was there I order a cake sample box, bought an Oreo Tres leche, Dulce de leche tres leche, guava and cheese Tres leche and assorted mini cupcakes. As my 9 year old daughter said after her first bite today - we've found the best tasting sweets in Miami! We stopped here today to taste the cakes for a potential cake order. They didn't have any slices left but the owner was kind enough to cut one of the cakes on display for us to try. We also bought the cookie cups and a unicorn cake cup. Ordered a custom cake and was not at all happy with the design. The main feature of the cake was a soccer jersey in royal blue which was the main color for the party. Jersey was so long it looked like a dress and the color was aqua blue/ green which didn't match the other royal blue elements of the cake. Name on jersey was sloppy. Other decorations were cheap items I could have purchase on Shein & stuck on cake myself. She did the bare minimum. This looked like a cake someone made doing this as a part time hobby, it did not look like it came from a professional bakery and at almost $200 there is no excuse for the badly designed cake I received. Lilly said that the color can change when using dye which is understandable but if you have any pride in your work you see this & remake the jersey and correct the issue before giving it to a client. I remember they put a sign up a few years ago when this place was opening n i was hype about it. Well never really tried it just followed her on ig well i needed a baby announcement cake last month in oct and i wanted it like those cakes you see on ig that say the month the baby is coming and year well i ordered one the smallest serving size they had and the flavor was rum cake I received it the look was ok the writing could be better looked sloppy and the design on one side they messed up. Well my daughter was dieing to taste it. Let me start with the cake was buttercream then cake i had to scrape so much cream my mom advised i should take a pic of the bag of cream we scraped off and said i would have not paid for this we tried it and the cake was so so dry omg you taste a hint of the rum but super dry not tasty at all. Where do I begin ... Lilly's Munchies has been my go to sweets people for a long time now. From cakes to cookie cups she's done it all for me. One of my first cakes with her was my Minnie Mouse birthday cake she matched the design I gave her perfectly and the cake tasted delicious. Lilly does a great job at paying attention to detail. I can't even remember how many pictures and text messages I sent her with different inspiration for my sister's graduation cake. The theme was "Oh the Places You'll Go!" and the details on the cake fit the decorations of the party perfectly. Last summer I made the suggestion to the summer camp I was working at to have Lilly's Munchies truck come out once a week so the kids can enjoy her yummy treats and it was a success every week the kids would bring money and enjoy cookie cups, cookie s'mores, campfire brownies; Lilly even personalized a cookie cup just for our summer camp. In December we had a full blown wedding at our house and of course I asked Lilly to make the wedding cake. She made a naked vanilla cake filled with Dulce de Leche and everyone loved it. Something she also did for the wedding was at the end of the night she brought her truck and made desserts with names that fit the wedding and the newlyweds so that when each guest left the wedding they were able to pick one dessert to take on the road with them. The most recent party my mother, mother-in-law, and I threw was a Gatsby themed 21st birthday for my boyfriend and I. I knew exactly what I wanted both cakes to look like and she gave me exactly what I wanted, the cakes fit the roaring 20's theme to a T.
